Our flagship day tour is the Mull Nature Explorer which is a relaxed vehicle-based experience that may include an easy leisurely walk. We also provide the Mull Wilderness Explorer which is a full day on foot, delving deeper into the wilder parts of the island.

Welcome to Mull Magic Wildlife Walks and Tours, established by former  Wayfarers  International Walking Tour Director, Ruth Fleming, in 2005.

Mull Magic is a small, family-owned business, and has a well-earned reputation built on the dedication and knowledge of its owner, who has 30 years' experience of walking and wildlife tours. Regarded as the friendly face of Mull’s wildlife, Mull Magic takes pride in the quality of the experience offered to guests. Cheerful, chatty and blessed with a sense of humour, Mull Magic aims to take guests on an unforgettable natural and social history journey.

Walks on Mull:

As well as promoting several themed excursions, like the ever-popular Eagle and Otter Walks, Mull Magic also offers guests a chance to explore some of the more remote parts of the Isle of Mull. Packed with more than just a glimpse of the past, a walk with Mull Magic will introduce you to a hidden side of the island and its wildlife that many visitors fail to see.  

There are nine different walks on offer, ranging from easy graded rambles such as the   Otter Detective Walk,  to the more strenuous Mountain Walk . Tours to the Isle of Mull

Our Isle of Mull tour is full of outstanding natural beauty and wildlife. With miles of coastline and cliffs, majestic mountains, empty beaches and quaint villages. This is one of the best locations in Scotland to spot rare white-tailed sea eagles. Or even to glimpse whales, basking sharks and dolphins by boat.

Our four day tours from Glasgow and Edinburgh transport you through the Highlands to Mull and the tiny sacred island of Iona, offering you plenty of time to appreciate this Hebridean island. You can also experience this special place on our six day island hopping tours to Mull, Iona, Skye, the Highlands and Loch Ness. These tours depart from both Glasgow and Edinburgh.

You’ll travel by luxury mini coach and then by ferry to Mull’s main town Tobermory. Tobermory is famous for its brightly-painted buildings along the harbour front. We stay here for three nights on the four and six day tours where there’s lots to enjoy such as its whisky distillery , live music, traditional pubs and pottery and craft shops.

We’ll take you to one of Scotland’s most spectacular sandy beaches at Calgary. Before visiting the Kilmore standing stones above Dervaig. Nearby there’s evidence of a Highland clearance village and ancient fort. A trip to Mull wouldn’t be complete without landing on the unspoilt Isle of Ulva, a drop of paradise in the Hebridean waters with its white shell beaches and pristine blue waters. You might spot golden eagles, sea eagles and otters. While on Mull there’s the option of a ferry trip to the geological wonder of Fingal’s Cave on uninhabited Staffa.

Discover the natural heritage of winter on the Isle of Mull. Or the geology, scenery and wildlife on the Ardnamurchan peninsula. Most of all explore some of Scotland’s finest wild winter areas.

From the comfort of our people carrier we will search for iconic species, most noteworthy the Golden Eagle, White-Tailed Eagle, Otter, Hen Harrier, Red Deer, Seals and many more.
