Egal, welches Campingfahrzeug Sie haben, unsere Touren können Sie mit Ihrem Wohnwagen oder Reisemobil von der Stange mitfahren. Die Kurz- und Standardtouren sind für fast alle Arten von Campern mit Ihren Fahrzeugen geeignet. Selbst  Motorradfahrer können mit, die dann in Zelt oder Hütte schlafen. Caravan, Faltcaravan, Dachzelte und Pick-Up sind genauso willkommen, wie große Freizeitmobile auf LKW Basis. 

Sie finden hier neben klassischen Rundreisen, auch Eventreisen und Abenteuerreisen in Europa, Asien und Nordafrika. Alle sind in der Regel Gruppenreisen. Sie können sich aber auch eine Individualreise von uns ausarbeiten lassen.

Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry Share Lead Through 36 Holes at Zurich Classic

McIlroy is playing this event for the first time, and the two-man team from Ireland is in a great spot at the event's halfway point.

Rory McIlroy might make his first trip to the Zurich Classic a memorable one.

He's playing with his buddy and fellow Irishman Shane Lowry this week in the PGA Tour's annual two-man team event, and the duo shot a 2-under 70 in Friday's alternate shot, good enough to move to 13 under for the event and into a four-way tie for the lead at the halfway point. Lowy-McIlroy made two bogeys and four birdies, including a birdie 4 on two of TPC Louisiana's par 5s.

"Shane has got a wonderful short game, and it gives me confidence going for those greens whether it be the par-4s or the par-5s that if I get it anywhere up there around the green, I'm going to have a very good look for birdie after he hits his," McIlroy said.

The Irishmen turned a solid round into a very good one with birdies on 7 and 8, their 16th and 17th holes of the day. After McIlroy's big drive on the par-4 8th found a greenside bunker, Lowry hit a nice blast out of the sand to set up an up-down-birdie.

Three teams share the lead with McIlroy and Lowry: Aaron Rai-David Lipsky, Andrew Novak-Davis Thompson and Ryan Brehm-Mark Hubbard.

Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay, who won this event in 2022, are part of a six-team pack one shot behind the leaders. Defending champs Nick Hardy and Davis Riley made the cut on the number and trail by five.

But for now the focus remains on McIlroy and Lowry. When asked if the friends might venture out to have some fun in New Orleans at some point this week, Lowry, who is playing this event for the fourth time, quickly shot it down.

"No, no, no. We're here to play a golf tournament. We'll enjoy ourselves. We'll go for a nice dinner tonight," Lowry said.

"I'll do the same thing I do when I have an afternoon off. I'll go back to the hotel, freshen up, and go for a little stroll around the city and have a look at—just look around. That's what I do."

A third shocking attack has unfolded in Central Park in just 27 hours — recalling darker days when the iconic greenspace was plagued by violent “wildings,” and the infamous 1989 rape of a jogger in a case that sent shockwaves through the city.

In the latest incident, a trio of armed muggers — who appeared to be just 14-or 15-years old — accosted a man as he cut through the park Friday night, demanding the 25-year-old’s iPhone 11 around 10:12 p.m. at 110th Street and East Drive, cops said.

The brave victim escaped by charging at his young attackers, prompting them to run, empty-handed, police said.

The victim tripped and injured his finger.

The would-be robbery came on the heels of two other, disturbing incidents: a man held at gunpoint, robbed and assaulted while taking pictures inside the park, and a woman who was set upon by a pervert who grabbed her and demanded, “Give me your phone, give me your wallet, give me sex,” authorities said. 

The episodes occurred as crime in the park has soared. 

Robberies are up 400% — with 15 as of April 21, compared to three in the same period a year prior, NYPD data show.

The three newest attacks aren’t included in those statistics.

Word of the scary incidents has left New Yorkers shaken. 

“That’s really crazy,” said Hermon Daniel, 27, a restaurant hostess who lives on the Upper West Side and walks through Central Park to get to and from work. “It’s not an affordable area [to live] so you would think, if I’m going to spend this much more in rent for peace of mind, it should be safe.”

Police need to spread their presence throughout the park, said Upper East Side resident Debbie Landau, who was walking her dog Saturday.

“I find it very disturbing. There is a lot of police presence on the Great Lawn, but the Great Lawn is packed, I don’t think that’s where they are needed. They should be in some of the less crowded areas,” said Landau, 68, adding the Central Park attacks are reminiscent of the recent spate of cases in which women have been sucker punched in unprovoked assaults. 

In the 80s, groups of teenagers were known to go into the park in groups and attack unsuspecting victims as a pack, which became known as “wilding,” with the roving perps stealing, hitting and punching their targets.

“They’d swarm the people and beat them and rob them,” a police source said. “The more you resisted, the worse it was.”

While the latest victim wasn’t injured by his attackers, the unsuspecting photographer was punched twice in the face as one of the robbers pointed the gun at his head, cops said.

They then stole an iPhone 8, an iPhone 13 and a wallet from him before taking off on mopeds on a bike path, police said.

The female victim was also punched in the face and then knocked to the ground during the attack at West 97th Street and West Drive, in which the suspect made off with her iPhone 11, authorities said. 

“I want sex,” said the man — who made contact with her chest as they struggled.

He then punched her in the face and knocked her to the ground, taking off with her iPhone 11, police said.

The brute who was described as being 5-foot-9 with curly short black hair, wearing all black — took off and hasn’t been caught, cops said.

The woman refused medical treatment.

It wasn’t clear if any of the attacks were related and investigators were canvassing the park for video, cops said.

Zurich Classic of New Orleans 2024 Thursday tee times, PGA Tour pairings and how to watch

A solid field of PGA Tour players is in Avondale, Louisiana, this week for the fun-filled 2024 Zurich Classic of New Orleans at TPC Louisiana.

After a stretch of mentally taxing golf, this field of 80 two-man teams is ready to have a blast in the Bayou.

On Thursday and Saturday, the format will be best ball. On Friday and Sunday, the format will be alternate shot.

TPC Louisiana is a par-72 track measuring 7,425 yards designed by Pete Dye.

The purse at the Zurich Classic is $8.9 million with $1,286,050 million going to each member of the winning team. The winners will also receive 400 FedEx Cup points each.

The  Mir Tours Office   can be found in the former village inn in Birkheim.

Again here the Autobahn A 61 (Köln-Ludwigshafen), only 2 km away is a good reference point. Regardles whether you use the motorway (exit no 43 / Pfalzfeld), the Hunsrückhöhenstraße (B327) or from the Rhine Valley (B9): Make your way to the eastern motorway entrance, on the opposite side you find the road leading to Birkheiim.  

In the village you find the former village inn (Birkheimer Hof) lies on the right side after a large curve. There are several parking places in front of the house. Please understand that neither the office, nor the village offer overnight options for camping vehiclles.

If you are using a satnav, be careful about using the postcode: there are 17 villages with the same code and they all have a "main street" which translates into Hauptstraße.

Meeting Place Kastellaun

Our informative meetings, pre-tour participants meetinga and reunions take place here.  

The  BurgStadt CampingPark  is in Kastellaun next to the hotel with the same name.

The hotel/camping is next to a greek restaurant with a beer garden. The campsite is terraced and park-like. All pitches are hard-standing and have their individual socket. There are many opportunities to spend your leisure time with shops, cafes and restaurant and sights to see.

We suggest you use the A 61 motorway and exit at Pfalzfeld No. 43, even when travelling from the south.

During the summer months we will be in the office Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00. On a Saturday we are normally in from 08:00 to 13:00. 

In the winter, from October till March our working time is Monday to Friday from 09:00 till 17:00:
