Are only 21+ allowed ? I am planning my daughters 21 birthday but I do have 17 year and 20 yr old. So was just wondering if under 21 are allowed?

Thank you for your interest in Boomerang! All public cruises this 2021 season are 21+, but all ages are welcome on board private charters.

What type of music is played on the boomerang party yacht?

The night we went they play a good mix of Top 40, old school hip hop, reggae and 90's pop. It honestly was a good mix.

This was my second time on the Boomerang Party Yacht. Staff has always been friendly and getting on/off super quick. Only downside this time was that the beer was warm and within the hour they had nothing but BudLight left.

Thanks for the review Sana! We're so happy you've been able to join us twice and have enjoyed it. Apologies about the beer debacle, we're still getting geared up for the season but should be full stocked from here on out. We hope to see you again. Third time is always the charm!

Overall, the experience was great. We purchased the Groupon for the 5:30 cruise. The line was long and it was hard to tell which line was for which boat (there were multiple boats departing at that time). However, the line went quickly, and our friend who was on the wait list got in no problem. The staff was relatively friendly. They took pictures for us without complaining. We asked for a couple vodka sodas right off the bat, and the bartender gave us vodka tonics. As a dieting girl, those extra calories are not appreciated. Or at least tell us you don't have soda water! Drinks were $9. Snacks (pretzels) were $1. We purchased the captain hats, which were pretty cute and made for good pictures. We also purchased the game, but there were no directions! So we tried to play it but couldn't figure out what all the cards meant. They should definitely include directions in the next batch of games they produce. Overall the experience was fun. This is not a tour, so don't think you'll be seeing the sites with explanations. They often just turned around in the harbor a couple times. There wasn't a way for them to drive out one hour, and then drive back to the dock the last hour. They were making random turns in the harbor to kill time. The floors were insanely sticky but the boat was RELATIVELY clean. Not a yacht by any means. That is some serious false advertising (but I never thought it would be a yacht). We got exactly what we wanted out of it. A relatively cheap, fun excursion on the water.

So, our experience was actually probably 4 stars, but I think 3 overall is warranted to caution others based on a couple of less-than-stellar things that we noted that impacted the experience of others on he boat. In short- Good: - Views from the top deck are gorgeous. We went for the 4th of July fireworks cruise and had a view of the fireworks that was second to none. - Music is pretty good, solid party atmosphere, no question about that. Lots of people dancing and enjoying themselves- everybody really seemed to have a good time. - Very reasonable price. Bad: - The boat itself is pretty small and could use a good scrubbing. - Staff overall were pretty short with people. They came off like war-weary folks who had seen too much in their time.. seemed to be a strategy of preventing bad behavior by being sort of surly and intimidating- more on that below. Ugly: - As others have mentioned, they stick to a very strict limit of how many people can be on the top deck. As a result, if you got up top, you needed to stay put or you were relegated to having to wait in a long line to get back up, praying for somebody who wanted a drink downstairs or needed to use the head so that you could inch forward in the line to go up. Making this all the more unpleasant is the fact that the bouncer at the top of the stairs was quite rude to people. Actual conversation that we overheard: Passenger: "I'm not going down the stairs, just want to peek and see how long the line is so that I can decide if I want to go get a drink or not." Bouncer: "You can't do that." Passenger: "I can't just go down one step and look at the line?" Bouncer: "If one toe touches that step, you're considered to have left the top deck." This wasn't even happening to me or one of the members of my party, and still it was so obnoxious that I would have liked to push the employee overboard. Come the F on, dude. Anyway, it was a very good time- but could have been better with better staff and not having to choose between drinks downstairs and a good view up top. We were lucky to get seats for all of our group up top, but if we hadn't, the evening could have gone quite differently. Hence just three stars.

Celebrated a friend's birthday on the sunset Boomerang Party Yacht last weekend and had a great time! We had a large group- maybe 20 or so and I'd say everyone's experience was positive. We spent most of the night dancing on the top deck but came down for drinks. While the scenery was beautiful (great views of the monuments), at times it felt like we were almost sitting in the middle of nowhere. Very friendly boat staff! The drinks are decently priced but could be a little stronger, I'd suggest a little pregame before boarding.

My friends and I booked the Boomerang Yacht Party on a whim and luckily for us choose a great Friday to go. We were a large group and made up the majority of the boat. Because of that we had a great time. The Dj was decent and played music that kept us dancing for the entire cruise. The drinks were decently priced and not watered down. They could use more bartenders because the line was quite long for the number of attendees. The bathroom on the boat was well maintained which was a welcomed surprise. We had so much fun, we purchased tickets to go again.

Had the best time on the party cruise. Missed the initial night and they let us rebook for the following weekend. The harbour is beautiful and we had great weather. Bartenders were friendly, drinks $8, and dj played a good mix of the latest Kendrick and little Beyoncé. My husband and I enjoyed our Titanic moment on the deck. Security onboard and great sights easily viewable from top deck. Highly recommend the late cruise for couples!

Five stars for the customer care! My seat was reserved by another family member on my behalf, but for some reason, the email confirmation never came to me. Contacted support and Kelly went out of her way to assist; she was incredibly helpful and kind so she immediately set the tone for our overall experience. Our intent was to see the cherry blossoms, but there were no blooms. No fault of Boomerang of course, just bad timing on our part, since there was a change in date for the peak due to the cold weather. The ride is only about 1 hour long, which goes by pretty quickly, but we still had a fun time. The music was good and I think most of the drinks were reasonably priced (didn't try their specialty drinks, which are a bit more expensive, I believe). I recommend eating before you go, since I think they only carry light snacks (e.g. potato chips). Would definitely do it again, but given the others' reviews, it seems the evening party yacht is a more fun experience, so I will definitely try that next time. Overall, I'd say the ride itself deserves 3 stars, but that's only because we didn't get a chance to see the blossoms.

Very disappointing. We bought tickets, arrived at the take off location, and immediately got out of line and walked away because the boat looked SO cramped.

This was a very fun night! The atmosphere is great, everyone was there to enjoy themselves. The bottom part was a bit warm but there were a lot of people in there because of the rain.

Went on a nighttime party yacht experience on a Friday hosted by another company. The maximum allowed was 142 people. That was just about the most you would want to see. Anymore and it would not be comfortable to walk around, which you have to do because the only bar is downstairs. Don't expect to see all the monuments, etc. in all their lighted glory - if you do see any at all, it's mostly bits and pieces. Do not expect to be able to smoke cigarettes outside the main cabin or on the rooftop deck level. Cash bar only and two drinks with tip was $20. Disappointed that the seating areas upstairs were wet - especially when it was 90 degrees out all day! It still was a pleasurable somewhat short cruise, but it was a fun party. If you go, go for the party and not the views.
