• The tour boat has a capacity of 80 passengers
• This is a non-smoking boat
• No comfort animals or pets permitted
• Alcoholic beverages are limited to 2 per adult
• No outside beverages or coolers permitted
• First come first served seating, if you are a large group and would like to sit together, please be there at the time of trip check in (1 hour prior to cruise start time).

Additional Information

• BOARDING PASSES MUST BE PICKED UP AT THE TICKET BOOTH 1 HOUR PRIOR TO CHECK IN. IF YOU MISS YOUR TRIP, YOU CAN NOT BE REFUNDED OR RESCHEDULED
• Destin traffic is horrible during the Season. Allow ample travel time to fight the Destin traffic, find Parking, and walk down to the Booth
• There is a chance that you may get splashed on the daytime cruises, so feel free to bring a towel and dress accordingly.
• Restrooms are available aboard the boat (located downstairs)
• If weather or wind is unfavorable for your tour and the vendor calls off the trip, another day will be scheduled, or the customer may receive a full refund. If the trip is cut short by the captain, a rain-check will be issued instead of a refund. Boat is not handicap or wheelchair accessible. Passengers must be able to get out of the wheelchair and sit in seats provided on the boat. The boat cannot have any wheelchairs or strollers open. Deckhands are available to help customers on the boat if needed but customers must be able to walk. Chairs and strollers can be left at the booth.

Reservation Requirements

• You must arrive 1 hour prior to departure and check in at the ticket booth to get a boarding pass, they will tell you where you will need to line up at. Our booth is located on the right side of the AJ’s Seafood and Oyster Bar Restaurant on the Destin Harbor. It is a blue booth that says AJ’s Water Adventures on top.
• If you are with a group but booking separately, we ask that you put in the booking reservation comments section the name of your party so we may assure your entire group is on the same boat. Example: A pair of couples want to enjoy the SeaQuest together but pay separately, both couples would insert “smith party” into their booking reservations comments to be grouped together

Went on the two hour cruise yesterday at 6pm, and we all had a great time, especially the kids. The crew had the kids and adults laughing the entire time. I wanted to video the whole trip there were so many funny antics. My kids were asking today if we could go again. The weather for the 6pm sailing was great for July since it had rained earlier in the day and therefore not too hot.

Great hosts and a wonderful family atmosphere for my kids and grandkids. I highly recommend this cruise for a fun sunset evening. Wish more companies were as full of integrity as this one.

From EAST of Destin (Sandestin, Panama City) From Destin Commons (Bass Pro Shops), drive 4 miles on Hwy 98 West. We have onsite parking at our location. Upon arriving head to the ticket booth.

From WEST of Destin (Ft Walton Beach, Pensacola) Take Hwy 98 East to Destin over the Destin Bridge. 1/2 mile after the bridge, turn right into our parking lot.

CANCELLATION POLICY:   You must CALL at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled trip time to change, reschedule, or cancel your reservation . If you don’t call or don’t make your reservation time,  tickets will not be rescheduled or refunded. There will be a $10 cancellation fee.

Yes, but it’s small, don’t plan on spending much time in it.

Most of the time we are in the Gulf of Mexico sighting Dolphins and viewing the beautiful emerald waters, but sometimes the Gulf of Mexico is too rough so we take you back to the Choctawhatchee Bay and enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

How Long Are the Tours?

The Destin Dolphin Tours are an hour and a half, giving you enough time to soak in the views before the sun sets over the miles of beach along the coast.

We take our customers out on Coast Guard certified forty-five foot Catamaran’s, customized to be the perfect dolphin boats in Destin. With plenty of comfortable seating, we have room aboard for parties large and small. All ages over four are welcomed on our dolphin tours, so we encourage the entire family to take a ride together.

Here’s what you need to know about our sunset dolphin cruises in the Outer Banks.

Our dolphin cruises run every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Each evening will feature live music on the top deck from talented local musicians. Our dolphin cruise is fun and affordable for the whole family.

A sunset dolphin cruise on the Miss Hatteras costs $33.50 per person, and kids 3 and under ride free! We have trips near you that run every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Depending on the season and when sunset occurs, we may change our schedule slightly. For instance, in the spring and fall, we tend to cruise from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. As with all our other trips, please be at the dock a half hour before we cast off.

Don’t forget to pack some snacks and drinks!

Most folks tend to bring a cooler with some refreshments, food, drinks, alcoholic beverages, etc.

JOIN US FOR A SARASOTA DOLPHIN TOUR

Join LeBarge and a Sarasota Bay Explorers-trained marine biologist on this two-hour cruise and learn about the lifestyle and behavior of our local population of over 160 bottlenose dolphins, as well as manatees (in season). The guide explains their hunting techniques, physical adaptations, and social hierarchy, plus you learn of the effects brought on by humankind and what is being done to protect this magnificent mammal.

Sarasota Bay is the ideal location to observe these intelligent marine mammals. All of our marine biologists are guides with our sister company, Sarasota Bay Explorers, located at Mote Marine Laboratory, to ensure that you receive the latest, most accurate information regarding these marine mammals.

We must meet a minimum passenger count to run the cruise. Reservations are highly recommended. We take reservations for regularly scheduled cruises no more than 3 weeks in advance. All scheduled cruises are subject to change.

Know Before You Go

• Bayfront parking lots and garages are owned, operated, and monitored by the City of Sarasota. Please pay attention to all posted signs and ordinances and allow time for parking upon arrival.
• Times to remember: CHECK-IN begins 1 hour prior to departure time and BOARDING begins 30 minutes prior to departure.
• To ensure we leave on time and keep on schedule all passengers must be on board 5 minutes prior to scheduled departure time OR YOU WILL MISS THE BOAT.
• Please be advised that our boarding procedures have changed. We board by order of check-in time and will call your name when it is your turn to board. If you have multiple parties arriving separately, and would like to board consecutively, please take this into account and check in at the same time.
• No outside food or beverages, and smoking or vaping of any kind on board.
• All scheduled cruises are subject to change.

Join us as we observe part of the longest migration of any mammal on earth! Reaching up to 45 ft. in length and weighing up to 40 tons, Gray Whales depart from their summer feeding grounds in Alaska and migrate south along the west coast to the isolated lagoons of Baja California, Mexico to mate and give birth. We are lucky enough to see both the south and northbound migraters up until the end of April. Although we are just one passing point along their route, Gray Whales travel up to 12,000 miles, roundtrip, on an annual basis! Because they hug the coast during their migration, we can spot these gentle giants within only a few miles from the coast!

May through November

San Diego is equipped with a cold-water up-welling system that brings especially nutrient-rich water up to the surface, drawing in hungry Blue Whales and Fin Whales. Although the production of food could attract them to our coast at any time, recent years have shown a spike in Blue whale and Fin whale encounters throughout the summer and fall. Blue Whales are the largest animals to have ever existed on the planet and we are lucky enough to see the healthiest population around the world. Only 1% of the human population will ever be able to say that they’ve seen a Blue Whale. That means that we can drastically increase your chances of becoming part of that small percent! Runner-up in size and well-known for being the fastest of the baleen whales is the mighty Fin Whale! They can also be spotted at any time, feeding along our deep-water banks.

Throughout the year

Fin Whales, Humpback Whales and Minke Whale can be spotted off the coast of San Diego at any time. Although this makes them a little less predictable, it also means that we have a chance of seeing them on every trip! Various types of toothed whales (includes all dolphin species) also visit our coast throughout the year. Common Dolphins (both Short-Beaked and Long-Beaked), Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins and Risso’s Dolphins can be seen year-round. Pacific White-Sided Dolphins are a seasonal visitor that we get to observe during the winter, typically between the months of December-April. In addition to cetaceans, California Sea Lions, Sharks, Bony Fishes and a wide variety of sea birds will also be pointed out for your enjoyment!
