One of our service advisors will put your bike in the stand and run it through our professional inspection process. They’ll describe what they’re noticing and address any concerns.

From there, we'll discuss how we can get your bike back up to speed with a service package, on-the-spot adjustments, or replacement parts. We’ll also create an itemized receipt to make sure you’re comfortable with repair costs before we get to work.

Leave your bike with us, and we'll do the rest! You'll receive an email and/or text when your repairs have been completed, and we'll be sure to give you a call if anything pops up along the way. Plus, if our turnaround time exceeds 24 hours, we'll set you up with a complimentary demo bike.

Basic tune-up.

Basic Tune-Up includes:

• Adjust front and rear brakes
• Adjust front and rear derailleurs
• Lube cassette and chain
• Safety check all main bolts (crank arms, pedals, stem, handlebar, wheels, seat)

Standard Tune-Up

Basic Tune-Up plus:

• Drivetrain cleaned with degreaser (on bike), bike is hand spray cleaned and wiped
• Lube chain, derailleur pivots, and cables
• Wheels trued (on bike)
• Headset and bottom bracket inspected and adjusted

I had a great experience here! I got a new (used) bike recently. It's mostly in great condition, but the rear brakes weren't working. I brought it in and got it fixed for $15 in 15 minutes! It was definitely something I didn't know how to do myself--is already tried and failed :) While I waited, I shopped around and saw that they have a great range of helmets and gear. The helmets start at $44 (they can get super pricey, but I'm not like a professional biker so I don't need all that.) An employee helped me try on some different brands and styles and got me the right fit. They were honest and didn't try to convince me to buy a $200 helmet (which was great because I would never do that.)

Bought my bike here and have all servicing done at the Fairfax location as well. A great crew! Everyone from the floor staff to the service department provide you with efficient, friendly service, and the prices are not crazy. A shoutout to Sam and the guys in service: your tuneup of my bike made the rides exceptional and got that brand new bike feel back! Thanks!

Great place for your bike riding needs! A superb staff that takes great care of you, gives you straight answers to any questions you have, and made looking for a bike an easy experience. Thank you to the pandemic for helping me find a new love and hobby... cycling! Also a big thank you to Tyler at Spokes for helping us find the PERFECT bike. Between my husband and I, my siblings, and a few friends, we have spent........ almost all of our life's savings here in the past 4 months. Tyler and Chang are always SUPER helpful and knowledgeable. We purchased a hitch rack which malfunctioned after 3 rides and caused one of our friend's bikes to fall and drag on the road. His handle bar was completely damaged so we took it to Spokes to see what they could do for us. Chang came out and offered to exchange the bike or replace the handlebar with no issues. This was greatly appreciated, no hassle, just straight to the point. The guys here are AWESOME!

Went here yesterday to get my front tire fixed and my wife's bike ride-able. We've been here several times over the last few years for fixes and new bike purchases. TLDR: The good news: They are open during this pandemic crud, and heavily practicing social-distancing norms. With very good service. The bad news: the line to get in can be long (admittedly, not their fault). So, we were in dire need of some bike service this weekend, and decided to see what their timeframe is for repairs and if we had to schedule something to get the bike in. They said it's pretty much first-come-first-serve, and that tune-ups were taking about two weeks due to backlog. We weren't thrilled about that, but brought both our mountain bikes in--one with a warped rear wheel (that I figured needed a new wheel) and some major gear issues, so unrideable and really needing a tune-up; one with a front axle missing QR nut (making the bike unrideable.... no idea how it came off, and very lucky I didn't find out the hard way), and the bike definitely could have used a general tune-up. So, I was prepared to be without both bikes for a couple weeks. We got to the shop, grabbed our bikes, and got in a very spread-out line extending from the door along the front face of the building to the end of the building... maybe 7-10 people in front of us, with clear markings on the walkway of where to stand. There was a guy that immediately checked us in and determined what we needed (mechanic, sales, etc.). I heard him remark to a customer after us that he had marked when their car drove into the parking lot.... so pretty dang on the ball. After a good 15-20 minute wait, we were ushered into the store with our bikes and the mechanic grabbed the first bike, asked us some questions, and examined it. After a few minutes, he says both the rear wheel and gears can be saved. Then they get my bike and get me a nut (no charge). He says both bikes can be rideable and out of there in a few, or we can wait two weeks for tune-ups. That was a no-brainer. And, he only charged me labor cost for replacing the nut. Both bikes fixed on the spot, and in and out of the shop (and line) in maybe an hour, tops. Not bad in this day and age. While that visit was a 5, we've had other visits where service was hard to come by, and during a bike purchase, I felt they were pushing a very overpriced bike at my daughter. So, altogether, a solid 4 stars, and I'm super happy there were able to accommodate us and get us riding again quickly. Highly recommended!

Jack and Ethan are wizards. They really helped me out with some break issues I had and recommended a great break set that didn't break the bank for me. They both care about rider safety and they are constantly looking out for the customer first. Highly recommend this spot.

Incompetent service. Can't even install new bikes properly. I really wanted to support this business but this wasn't the first time I've experienced their incompetence. We won't go back. Proceed at your own risk. Follow up: we take the bike back in. This was the fourth time in 2 years doing business with them that we've had issues with mechanic's work and had to return a bike to have repairs to a repair. The mechanic says "maybe you put it on your car wrong." Yes, we were so rough with the bike that the derailer magically uninstalled itself and reinstalled itself backward. A shame it couldn't do it again when we loaded the bike back on the car to take it back.

Happy Mother's Day present not so happy.

I tend to write reviews only if I multiple great experiences and this is one of those places. Everyone I have interacted with at this location have been amazing! Sales team... amazing... service team... amazing... the guy letting people in and out... amazing. I never thought I would spend this much money on a bike but I would do again just have the experience I had with this purchase. Great work team Spokes FFX!

I called prior to stopping by to see if they had to time to change a tubeless tire (with an unrepairable leak). The gentleman told me to bring in the bike, that they had four guys working right now and they could change the tire. However, when I arrived this was NOT the case. At first they told me they could have it done in two hours, but then he came back again and said this would be a job for their "maintenance group" and it would be two weeks. TWO WEEKS to change a tire! Because I can only assume that the four guys that were currently "working" there didn't have the knowledge or capability to change a tire. I grabbed my bike and went to A1 Cycling in Herndon. The guys there fixed my flat tire in less than ten minutes with AMAZING customer support. I will never try Spokes again. If you can't even change a tire for a customer my trust in your store and any worker there is at a nil.

Great place in Fairfax Spokes to bring any bike that requires annual maintenance. Their service guys know what they are doing, will not recommend service not required and with Jackson being one of the main service techs, you will be pleasantly surprised at their work ethic and professionalism. This shop gets five stars.

There's a new bike shop in town. If you are Trek shopping this is the store for you. They have a full line of Trek's as well as Specialized and some other brands as well. The down turn in the economy has hit the bike shops especially hard. It's a discretionary purchase and a narrow demographic so it's been sad to see so many smaller shops close their doors. Jim & Bob opened these NoVa regional shops to provide a bike shop experience with a local flavor. They support local bike rides and charities. That's what I call giving back to the community! Welcome Spokes Etc to the neighborhood. Check out their web site, they also do service and repair.
