Nainital has many places in and around the town that tourists can visit. Apart from the usual sightseeing points, there are numerous hiking trails and hilltop points that you can visit while in Nainital. Even a week will be less if you want to explore every beautiful place in Nainital in one trip. Most tourists spend two or three days maximum in Nanital in one trip. And cover commonly visited sites in Nainital, including the lakes in and around Nainital.

Usually, it is possible to cover most of the frequently visited touristy places in 3 days. But visiting Nainital in one day is a tough job. It will be more of running around rather than feeling the charm of the place. And even running continuously throughout the day, covering all the areas in Nainital, is impossible.

But occasionally, due to unavailability of time, especially if you are on a quick weekend trip or taking a break at Nainital during your journey in other remote places in Kumaon or adding up Nainital with your trip to Corbett National Park, all you get is one full day to spend in Nainital.

This post is for that quick stopover kind of tourist visiting Nainital for the first time and wanting to explore the maximum of Nainital in one day. Let’s start the itinerary and make it as chronological and detailed as possible so you can follow it as scripted without thinking about or modifying it.

About Nainital

Nainital is a popular hill station in the Kumaon region in Uttarakhand state. Nainital is famous for its scenic beauty, pleasant weather and beautiful lakes. Nainital is also called the “city of lakes.” There are many natural lakes in and around Nainital town. Naini Lake is the most popular of these lakes, located in the town’s centre.

Nainital is situated at an elevation of 2084 metres above sea level. The Nainital Lake is surrounded by hills, with Naina Peak, the highest peak in Nainital, located on the north side. The views of the town, especially the Naini Lake from Naina Peak, are stunning.

Nainital was the summer capital of the United Provinces during the British rule of India. Even now, it is the judicial capital of the state. The picturesque Governor House is in Nainital, also known as Raj Bhawan, a frequently visited place by tourists due to its colonial architecture.

Modern-day Nainital is a busy hill city with administrative offices, markets, schools, colleges, hotels, resorts and friendly people. Beautiful landscapes, lovely weather, good road connectivity, and availability of all modern amenities make Nainital one of the most visited hill stations in India.

How to plan your perfect one day in Nainital

Let’s break the planning into a few simple points to make things easier. The first thing to consider would be what places you must visit . Second is in which order you will see them so that they cover the maximum number of places at the end of the day. Third is how you will commute in and around the town . Fourth is when and where you will take a break during your day out. And finally, you must consider adding a few family activities as well to make it a complete one-day tour package of Nainital.

Things to see in Nainital in one day

Broadly you can divide the sightseeing places in and around Nainital into two parts – the tour of the lakes outside Nainital town and the adjacent areas, or you can visit the places in Nainital. If you have one day to spend in Nainital, I would suggest visiting the places in the town only. It will take a full day to cover most of them. On another day, you can always go for a tour of the lakes around Nainital, or you can add a few lakes on your way to Haldwani.

So in this article, I will only write about the places inside Nainital that you can visit in one day. There are a few hiking trails that you can do inside Nainital, but I will skip them as they are time-taking and not suitable for every family or tourist, at least not for someone who is staying in Nainital just for a day. The sequence of visiting the sightseeing points will be as listed.

  • St John in The Wilderness Church

Eco Cave Garden

Suicide point / lover’s point, khurpatal lake, woodland waterfall.

  • Naini Lake View

  • Nainital Ropeway or Nainital Zoo

The graveyard on the backside has graves of some notable personalities, including Jim Corbett’s parents and the people who lost their lives in a deadly landslide in Nainital in 1980. The Trees surround the church and are not visible from the road. Although it is very close to the main road, you have to ask the locals for its exact location.

How you should start your one-day tour

If you have one day in Nainital, then the first thing you must do is start early. It will give you more time to spend visiting the town. Depending on the location of your hotel, you should arrange the places in order of how you are going to visit them. Remember, the best time to enjoy boating the Nainital Lake is early morning or late afternoon.

So. the best thing will be to visit the places away from Mall Road in the first half and then have lunch at Mall Road, followed by visiting the points near Mall Road. Then enjoy boating in Naini Lake when the day ends and do shopping after that. Enjoy evening aarti in the Naina Devi Temple before shopping in Tibetan Market. Top things to do in 1 day in Nainital

On our 6 days trip across Nainital, Bhimtal, Corbett National Park and Mussoorie , we spent a day sightseeing in Nainital. Nainital is an enchanting hill town in Uttarakhand, located on the slopes of the Himalayas with a beautiful and serene lake in the centre. A beautiful “ Mall Road ” that comprises of several tourist attractions, shops loaded with woollen items and souvenirs and quaint cafes serving mouth watering delicacies with great views across the lake and mountains. When planned right, most of the places to see in Nainital can be visited within one day. Here’s our own list of top things to do in 1 day in Nainital.

A lot of these places to see in Nainital lie along the Mall Road Nainital. And can be conveniently covered on a walking tour of Mall Road Nainital .

best places to visit in nainital in 1 day

Table of Contents

Visit Naina Devi Temple at the farther end of Mall Road

Naina Devi Temple is one of the most famous temples in Nainital. It is located on the banks of the Nainital Lake, adjacent to the parking area. So, chances are high, you will be leaving your vehicle in the parking lot. And visiting Naina Devi Temple as the first stop on your list of top things to do in 1 day in Nainital.

best places to visit in nainital in 1 day

Naina Devi Temple is one of “Shakti Peeths” of Hindu religion. Legends say that when Goddess Sati died, Lord Shiva, her husband, couldn’t overcome the grief. He couldn’t make himself part from her body. That is when Lord Vishnu cut her body into multiple parts and each part fell down at a separate location on earth. Each of these locations has a temple of the “ Sakti ” that the Goddess represents. Naina Devi Temple lies where the eyes (called ” Nayan ” in Hindi) fell. And hence the name “Naina Devi Temple”.

best places to visit in nainital in 1 day

Apart from hosting the main deity, the Naina Devi temple also has smaller sub temples of Radha-Krishna, Nav Graha (Nine planets), Dashavtara of Vishnu, A Shivlingam, a Hanuman Temple and several other God and Goddess temples.

I was delighted to find the temple parsley populated even when I visited here on one of the days of Durga Puja. Given it is a temple of one of the forms of Goddess Durga. The temple had beautiful lights setup for the evening and a Durga pandal setup in it’s central hall. Also, in the adjacent ground, there was a fare setup with stalls of food, toys, cloth etc. on the occasion of Durga Puja. And preparations were on for “Ravan Dahan” on the day of Dussehra. (Which we couldn’t stay back to see!!).

Overall it is a beautiful and serene temple setup on the bank of Nainital Lake.

Boating in the Nainital Lake

When one goes to Nainital, one can simply not miss the boating experience on Nainital Lake. After all, this lake is the heart of Nainital. And boating on Nainital Lake is a unique experience. If you choose to boat on a traditional boat with a boat-man rowing it, then there are two options to choose from – half lake loop and full lake loop. As the name suggests, half lake tour will take you through half the lake and back. Which takes 15-20 mins to complete. While the full lake tour takes you from one end of the lake to almost the other and back. The prices vary accordingly.

best places to visit in nainital in 1 day

Apart from this, there is a pedal boating option as well. Where you can hire a pedal boat for a certain amount of time and pedal it yourself from one end of Nainital Lake to another.

However, the most unique option is to enjoy a ride on a heritage wind driven yatch – boat. But it can host only 2 people at a time.

Irrespective of which boating option you choose to boat on Nainital Lake, you will be greeted with mesmerizing views of the Himalayan ranges, the town of Nainital located on it’s slope and the crystal clear emerald blue water of the lake all around you.

The best time to do the boating on the Nainital Lake will be right after visiting Naina Devi Temple. Particularly if you are visiting in the winter months. As, evenings can get chilling cold on the lake. Also, it’s a pleasure to feel the mix of the cold wind and the warm sun on your body as you row through the lake in the day.

Our last experience of boating was in a Shikara on Dal Lake in Srinagar . And while boating on Nainital Lake we realised that each one has a very unique and different experience to offer.

A walk across Mall Road in Nainital

Next on our bucket list of top things to do in 1 day in Nainital is a walk across the Mall Road in Nainital . You can create your own walking tour exploring the Mall Road in Nainital. Take the Aerial Ropeway cable car ride up the mountain

The Aerial Ropeway cable car in Nainital is the next most popular attraction to try among things to do in 1 day in Nainital. This roapway is located at the beginning of Mallital. So, as you come out of the Naina Devi Temple, after taking a boat ride on the Nainital Lake, you can either take the Aerial Ropeway then. Or, when you return after your walk along the Mall road and back.

best places to visit in nainital in 1 day

The ride on the Aerial Ropeway takes just 3-4 minutes to complete. But it is a very thrilling ride. And the views from the top are really rewarding. On one side, you can view the whole town of Nainital and the Nainital Lake in between. And on the other side, you can view several high peaks of Himalayas, covered in snow almost all through the year. And that is why this point is also called “Snow View Point”. It is located 2270m above sea level. And there is binacular installed on the top to get closer views of the mountains.

Charges of the cable car ride at the time of this writing:

INR 300 per adult for a round trip

INR 200 per child for a round trip

Timings of the ropeway are from 10am to 4pm all days of the week.

There is an amusement part under construction at the top. And there are some kid’s activities available. In total, you can spend around an hour at the top.

Hire a local taxi for sightseeing to waterfalls and viewpoints inaccessible on foot

After having explored the above, the next thing on our list of things to do in 1 day in Nainital is to hire a local taxi for sightseeing around the town of Nainital. In fact, you can also take a taxi to visit the snow view point, instead of the cable car. Or, you can take the taxi one way and the cable car the other way. When you take a taxi up the snow view point, you get to see several view points on the way up from where you get mesmerising views of the mountains and the valleys from different angles.

What is the best time to visit Nainital ?

For snowfall and snow sports, visit Nainital in the peak winter season of December end to February. While to enjoy milder climate and greenery, visit right after the monsoons, in the month of October and November. Summers have started getting harsher. And monsoons often lead to landslides in this region. So, it is best to avoid the summer and monsoon months from April to September. However, if you live nearby, you can always plan a quick weekend getaway to Nainital  during any month of the year by keeping an eye on the weather.

How many days are sufficient to explore Nainital ?

best places to visit in nainital in 1 day

To explore the attractions in the town of Nainital itself, 2 days are sufficient. While if you want to explore some more places around Nainital like Bhimtal, Almora, Ranikhet etc. then you might want to add one day for each place you plan to visit from Nainital.

What to pack for a trip to Nainital ?

Irrespective of which month you are visiting Nainital, always keep one layer of woollen cloths, particularly for kids. As, temperature changes suddenly and dips when it rains or snows all of a sudden. If visiting in the peak winter months, you will need proper thermal inners , gloves , caps , heavy winter jackets and snow shoes . When we visited at the end of October, it was mildly cold in the day and colder in the night. We needed a layer of light jacket in the day and a heavier jacket at night. The younger kids < 5 years of age might require another additional layer of clothing.

Where to stay in Nainital ?

best places to visit in nainital in 1 day

Most of the attractions of the Nainital town lie along the Mall Road. It also houses a lot of hotels, homestays and backpacker hostels. However, the accommodation is more costly right near the lake as compared to a little farther away. So, depending on your budget you can choose to stay either near the lake, for the convenience of walking around to most attractions. Or, farther away, for enjoying the natural surroundings better. Here’s a a complete list of accommodations in Nainital to browse through.

However, if you are unable to find a suitable accommodation in Nainital itself for what so ever reason, you can always find a stay option in Bhimtal , which is just 20km away, quieter and as beautiful. We stayed in a lake side property called Lake Hill Hotel in Bhimtal. And thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Some of the properties that we researched and added to our wishlist in Nainital and Bhimtal included –

Saffron Stays Gardens on the Lake , The Rosefinch Sarovar Portico , Naini Retreat Nainital  and WelcomHeritage Ashdale for luxury

Naini Cottage , Lakeside Inn , Sakley’s cottages for staying nearer to lake and at affordable price.

If you are wondering whether to stay in Nainital or Bhimtal, here’s our comparison of Nainital vs Bhimtal – where to go . Which will definitely help you decide.

Steelers NFL Draft grades 2024: Pittsburgh adds LB Payton Wilson, WR Roman Wilson on Day 2; full list of picks

All the steelers picks and draft news in one place.

usatsi-roman-wilson-michigan.jpg

You've made it, Steelers fans. After months of speculation, reports and mock drafts, Pittsburgh's fanbase is finally getting to see who its team is adding in the 2024 NFL Draft . This is a huge draft for the Steelers, who are hoping to make a deep playoff run in 2024.

For a second straight year, Pittsburgh selected an offensive lineman with its first-round pick. This year, the Steelers took Washington offensive lineman Troy Fautanu , who made starts at both tackle and at guard during his time with the Huskies. Fautanu's versatility was surely one of the reasons why the Steelers selected him.

The Steelers' patience was rewarded in the second round, as they stayed put and selected former West Virginia center Zach Frazier with the 41st pick. Frazier -- a two-time All-American and three-time team captain at West Virginia -- is now part of a rebuilt offensive line in Pittsburgh that also includes Fautanu and 2023 first-round pick Broderick Jones .

With the 84th pick, the Steelers selected wideout Roman Wilson, who caught a dozen touchdown passes last season for the national champions. He caught big touchdowns last year in Michigan's wins over Ohio State and Alabama. A willing blocker, Wilson is most effective when playing in the slot.

Pittsburgh took former North Carolina State linebacker Payton Wilson with its third and final pick on Day 3. Wilson had a whopping 138 tackles (18.5 tackles for loss), 6 sacks, 3 picks, 2 fumble recoveries an a forced fumble last season.

This is a pivotal draft for the Steelers, so you won't want to miss a second of the action over the three-day spectacle. Here is every single selection the Steelers have made in this year's draft.

For more draft coverage, you can hear in-depth analysis twice a week on  "With the First Pick"  -- our year-round  NFL Draft  podcast with  NFL Draft  analyst Ryan Wilson and former  Vikings  general manager Rick Spielman. Xavier Legette's fantasy comp is …

DK Metcalf ceiling with Rashid Shaheed floor. That gives you an idea of his potential, and Xavier Legette can add value in the return game. The Panthers haven't seen Terrace Marshall develop the way they want, and Jonathan Mingo struggled more than expected and might already be down the depth chart. Legette can step in as the No. 3 behind Diontae Johnson and Adam Thielen, or even push Thielen in 2024 for the No. 2 role. He'll also help Bryce Young improve, though, Young needs to take a big step forward for all of the receivers to hold value. I could see Legette posting Josh Reynolds numbers (40-608-5) as a rookie, which makes him a WR5, but he has future WR3 potential, as early as 2025.

How Xavier Legette fits in Carolina

The Panthers move up one spot, entering the first round to snag help for Bryce Young in the form of big South Carolina X-receiver Xavier Legette. A 6-1, 222-pounder with 4.39 speed and a 40-inch vertical, Legette is a powerful blend of speed and explosion who looks and runs a lot like Seattle star DK Metcalf.

There are concerns, however. He made 71 catches for 1,255 yards and seven touchdowns last year. In his previous four years of college, Legette made 42 catches. He’s 23 and not a consistent route runner. Legette is a credible deep threat who will provide help as a returner, but there were better receivers here for Carolina in my opinion. Texas' Adonai Mitchell and Georgia's Ladd McConkey are two that come to mind.

Fantasy rushing production gets first-round upgrade without running backs

One of the main takeaways of the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft is that no running backs were selected.

From a fantasy football perspective, this may seem like a downgrade for the ground game, but the reality is that nine of the first 29 picks of this draft were offensive linemen. In addition, Jayden Daniels is cut from a similar rushing quarterback mode as Lamar Jackson or Jalen Hurts and thus adds another potential dual-threat QB1 candidate.

Combine that with the heavy emphasis on upgrading offensive lines and it shows that NFL teams are still likely to continue the recent transition towards leaning on the ground game more and more often. Fantasy managers should keep this in mind when building teams, as RB values have increased recently due to this and are still likely to ascend.

Round 1, Pick 32: Panthers draft South Carolina WR Xavier Legette

Round 1, Pick 32: Panthers draft South Carolina WR Xavier Legette

(Photo: Getty Images)

The Carolina Panthers drafted South Carolina wide receiver Xavier Legette with the No. 32 pick after a trade with the Buffalo Bills.

The Athletic NFL Draft expert Dane Brugler on Legette: A four-year starter at South Carolina, Legette was an inside/outside receiver in offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains’ scheme (64.6 percent wide, 34.0 percent slot in 2023). A quarterback out of necessity as a senior in high school, he was raw when he joined the Gamecocks and didn’t break out until his fifth season (he and Malik Nabers were the only two SEC players to average more than 100 yards receiving per game in 2023).

Legette is at his best on runway routes (verticals, posts, crossers) or sweeps and end-arounds that get his long-striding acceleration going. He doesn’t consistently shake tight man coverage, but he will use his size to play strong through contact.

Overall, Legette needs to continue developing his route proficiency and tempo, but his film gives off DK Metcalf vibes, and he has the explosive speed and physicality to be a matchup weapon. He should be an immediate contributor on special teams before competing for starting reps outside.

Fantasy implications: Ricky Pearsall raises questions for San Francisco

The trade speculation — Brandon Aiyuk or Deebo Samuel — will start, and if one is moved, Ricky Pearsall can be a WR4 as a rookie with numbers similar to Darius Slayton (50-770-4). Honestly, the touchdown mark is low in this offense, but again, that's if Aiyuk or Samuel is gone. As it stands with both on the roster, Pearsall is a 2025 and beyond value. He's buried, as we haven't even mentioned the volume for Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle. Pearsall likely won't be more than a WR5/6 with around 35-40 receptions and 500+ yards, as the roster currently stands.

Grading Ricky Pearsall to 49ers at No. 31

This feels like either a reach or an insurance policy in case Brandon Aiyuk ends up getting dealt. Florida receiver Ricky Pearsall will make some tough catches and could wind up running plenty of interior routes alongside tight end George Kittle.

A five-year veteran with three seasons at Arizona State and his final two at Florida, Pearsall (6-1, 189) has built a reputation for his toughness and ability to haul in difficult catches. Last year with the Gators, Pearsall caught 65 balls for 965 yards (14.8 yards per catch) and four scores. As a junior, Pearsall averaged 20.0 yards per catch (33-661) with five scores. At the combine, Pearsall ran a 4.41-second 40 and had a 42-inch vertical jump.

Trade! Bills move down again

The Buffalo Bills will not pick in the first round.

The Carolina Panthers — who did not have a pick entering the night — have moved up a pick to No. 32.

The Bills received pick Nos. 33 and 141 for Nos. 32 and 200.

(Photo: Jonathan Bachman / Getty Images)

The San Francisco 49ers selected Florida wide receiver Ricky Pearsall with the No. 31 pick.

The Athletic NFL Draft analyst Dane Brugler on Pearsall: A two-year starter at Florida, Pearsall was schemed across the formation in head coach Billy Napier’s offense, doing most of his work (62.0 percent) from the slot. After three seasons at Arizona State, including time spent learning from Brandon Aiyuk in 2019, he moved on to Gainesville in 2022 and had a career season in ‘23, leading the Gators in receiving.

With his play speed and footwork, Pearsall earned the nickname “Slick Rick,” because of the rhythmic movements he uses to shake free in his routes or make a defender miss in the quick game. Though he can be outmuscled at times versus press or at the top of routes, he has Velcro hands and never shies from attacking throws that lead him into impending contact.

Overall, Pearsall wasn’t a home-run hitter on tape, but he is a reliable receiving option with the route quickness and ball skills to quickly become a favorite target for an NFL quarterback. He has the skill set and toughness to work inside or outside and return punts at the next level.

Nate Wiggins was the top-ranked corner on the Football GM Podcast, ahead of Quinyon Mitchell. He lands in Baltimore, which is a very good place for defensive players to land.

Round 1, Pick 30: Ravens draft Clemson CB Nate Wiggins

Round 1, Pick 30: Ravens draft Clemson CB Nate Wiggins

Getty Images

The Baltimore Ravens selected Clemson cornerback Nate Wiggins with the 30th pick.

The Athletic NFL Draft analyst Dane Brugler on Wiggins: A two-year starter at Clemson, Wiggins was an outside cornerback in defensive coordinator Wes Goodwin’s scheme. An ascending player throughout his time with the Tigers, he combined for 25 passes defended in 23 games over the last two seasons and allowed just 43.9 percent completions when targeted in 2023. (Two of his three career interceptions came against Drake Maye).

Wiggins moves with quiet, controlled feet/hips to seamlessly transition out of breaks and accelerate to top gear (allowed only one catch of 20-plus yards on 41 targets in 2023). Though he needs to improve his consistency as a run defender, he shows tremendous effort in pursuit and had two chase-down forced fumbles that saved touchdowns in 2023 (Miami and North Carolina).

Overall, Wiggins’ slight frame and suspect play strength are legitimate concerns, but he is a fast and fluid athlete with the cover awareness and on-ball production to be a starting perimeter corner in the NFL. He projects as a longtime NFL starter with tools like those of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

Grading Tyler Guyton to Cowboys at No. 29

Dallas had a big hole at two spots — center and right tackle — and the Cowboys opted to fill the hole on the outside with Oklahoma tackle Tyler Guyton. It’s an upside move with Guyton, who could start at right tackle and perhaps flip to left tackle within time. Or, if he reaches his potential, he could form a solid tandem with Tyler Smith.

Still raw and developing, Guyton earned 15 career starts at TCU and Oklahoma before declaring for the draft. He started 13 games at right tackle and one at left tackle for the Sooners, while opening one game at tight end for TCU. Guyton (6-7 ½, 322) has the requisite body for an NFL tackle with 34 1/8-inch arms. It might take him some time, but his upside is immense,

Best available players at end of first round

With three picks to go in the first round, here are Dane Brugler's 10 best available players :

  • Oregon C Jackson Powers-Johnson

2. Clemson CB Nate Wiggins

3. Iowa CB Cooper DeJean

4. Illinois DT Jer'Zhan Newton

5. Alabama CB Kool-Aid McKinstry

6. Georgia WR Ladd McConkey

7. Western Michigan edge Marshawn Kneeland

8. Texas WR Adonai Mitchell

9. West Virginia C Zach Frazier

10. Florida State WR Keon Coleman

Round 1, Pick 29: Cowboys draft Oklahoma OT Tyler Guyton

Round 1, Pick 29: Cowboys draft Oklahoma OT Tyler Guyton

(Photo: Justin Casterline / Getty Images)

The Dallas Cowboys selected Oklahoma offensive tackle Tyler Guyton with the No. 29 pick.

The Athletic NFL Draft analyst Dane Brugler on Guyton: A two-year starter at Oklahoma, Guyton was the starting right tackle in former offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby’s inside-zone, gap-focused scheme. A basketball-focused athlete much of his life, he moved to the offensive line while at TCU and later developed into a starter for the Sooners, protecting Dillon Gabriel’s blindside at right tackle.

A nimble big man, Guyton stays square to pass rushers with balanced lateral steps to easily redirect, and he does a great job working into open space with remarkable range (NFL scout: “The OU coaches just marvel at him. They call him different than everyone else they’ve had.”). He stays controlled with his punch to be a sticky blocker, although his accuracy and fit entry are underdeveloped, and his overall timing is not yet a strength to his game.

Overall, Guyton is a work in progress in several areas and a steep learning curve should be expected for his rookie season, but he has the athletic tools and fundamental skills to develop into a high-level offensive tackle. He has the talent to play left or right tackle, although his comfort level is clearly on the right side. As long as he stays motivated and healthy, he will continue on an upward trajectory.

What Xavier Worthy brings to Kansas City

What Xavier Worthy brings to Kansas City

(Photo: Tim Warner / Getty Images)

Patrick Mahomes has yet to meet a player he can overthrow. We’ll see if Xavier Worthy gives him a run for his money. The Chiefs moved up from 32 to 28 to snag the fastest player in the draft in the form of the former Texas receiver. Worthy set the combine record with a 4.21 40-yard dash earlier this spring and will enter Kansas City’s offense with electric speed from the get-go.

This feels like a very good fit for Kansas City’s offense and for Mahomes in general, as Worthy is very dynamic with the ball in his hands. However, he’s also very small at just 165 pounds. Whether or not he’ll be able to hold up with a high catch volume deep into a season is a fair question. He can be inconsistent with his hands and his play strength will limit some of what he can do a the next level. It’s fair to wonder if Worthy was a first-rounder in this draft, especially with some of the talent on the board. But also tough to hate the fit.

Xavier Worthy's fantasy impact

I know what you're thinking. "The new Chiefs wideout is going to be amazing!" And I get it, especially as my comp for Worthy was DeSean Jackson, especially in his early days when he returned kicks as well. With the Chiefs having inconsistency at the position and Rashee Rice with a suspension looming, Worthy definitely has potential -- just be cautious not to overrate him as fantasy has done with many a wideout in the past. Nevertheless, Worthy has the ability to be their new No. 1, and that's even once Rice returns. Worthy posting a rookie line of 60-for-800 (or more) with a handful of touchdowns is within reach, and that makes him at least a WR4, not to mention the additional value if you score return yards.
