Choose from one of 7 fly-in outposts located in on several remote fishing lakes in Northwest Ontario. Each of the camps offer electricity, running water with shower & plumbing, fridge, stove, oven, propane grill & fish fryer, all cookware, boats & motors.

The camps are priced very economically ranging from $995 Per Person to $1,595 Per Person depending how many people in your group and how far the flight is to the lake you choose. This is a great option for groups looking for an Ontario Fly-in Fishing trip on a budget.

Each camp is a little different but all have great fishing and amazing views! The Fisherman's cabin has been comletely remodeled, we have made a brand new fish cleaning house, added on a 12 X 16 screened in porch on Sydney's Outpost and numerous other upgrades around camp. Check out a few of them below...

Sydney Lake Lodge is a one of a kind Canadian fly-in fishing camp located in the pristine wilderness setting of Pimachiowin Aki UNESCO World Heritage site, Woodland Caribou Wilderness Park and The Trophy Waters Conservation Area.

Relax in fully equipped pine finished lakeview cabins with high quality matresses. Sit in the cool evening breeze in our screened in porches or lakeside gazebos. Experience –  Your successful fishing trip is our business. The Fahlgren family built and has operated our fishing camp for over 30 years. John Johnston Fahlgren “Great Grandpa” built his first cabin on Sydney Lake as a private fishing retreat in 1933.

Exclusive Waters –  The camp has a central location to more than 200 miles of shoreline on two exclusive lakes with more than 120 islands and 20 000 acres of fishing area. Plus several portage lakes for the more adventurous.

Service –  When you arrive your gear will be moved to your cabin and back to the dock when you leave. Your boat will be fueled and checked each morning. Daily housekeeping cleans up your cabin and removes your garbage. Sydney Lake staff is on hand to help you: whether you need a case beer or pop brought up to your cabin, a fishing report for a certain bay or the best lure to use.

Comfortable Quality –  New and well maintained boats and motors with casting floors and swivel seats. Fly In high quality aircraft with an outstanding safety record. Well built cabins with full kitchens, pine paneled interiors and great views is a perfect complement to our wilderness setting

Amenities -  Fourteen foot ten sided lakeside gazebos are at each end of the camp, perfect to relax for evening cocktails at the waters edge. The camp store has some tackle, batteries, pop, Sydney Lake Gear, and a few other items that you may need during your stay. At the center of our camp is our hand hewn rustic log lodge with stone fireplace and second story loft lounge perfect for a poker game with your friends. In front of the lodge enjoy the heat with our classic Finnish dry sauna with natural wood fired heat.

Value –  World class fishing in comfortable cabins with full kitchens: by cooking your own meals and running your own boat makes pricing very reasonable. Special family rates make it easier to bring along the kids or grandchildren.

Pure Nature –  Sydney and Kilburn lakes are near the headwaters of the Surgeon River System. There has never been any upstream industrial activity, the waters are pure as they have been for thousands of years. The lakes are natural and embedded in the rugged Canadian Shield and protected in Woodland Caribou Wilderness Park which is also part of Pimachiowin Aki UNESCO world heritage site.

Sustainability –  The Trophy Waters Conservation Area uses sustainable conservation fishing practices to ensure the fishing stays great for you, your children and grandchildren. Low impact also affects our camp policies such as using four stroke engines which use less fuel and are less polluting – they also troll at low speeds better.

Remote Ontario Fly In Fishing Outpost Cabins and Lakes

We have a variety of fly in fishing lakes for you in the remote Canadian wilderness. Be sure to reserve your spot early to ensure the lake and dates of your choice. If you have any questions, please call, we love to talk fishing. Our fly in outpost cabins offer a lot of the modern conveniences of home in a remote setting with excellent fishing. All of our fly in outpost cabins are equipped with all pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils, large propane barbeques, propane fish cookers, Honda generators, full size electric refrigerator/freezer, chest freezer, microwave, electric toaster, electric coffee maker, box fans, fluorescent lighting, additional outlets to charge electronics, hot and cold running water, and showers. The boats are 14' Alumarine & Lund boats with swivel seats and 6, 8, or 9.9HP Yamaha 4 stroke outboards. There are spare motors at each cabin so you won't lose any fishing time on the water due to breakdowns. There are also fish cleaning buildings at each outpost cabin with running water to clean your days catch. The fishing is great throughout the season and the summer months offer beautiful weather. Imagine being the only cabin on a remote lake in Ontario that offers excellent fishing for walleye, smallmouth bass, lake trout, northern pike, and muskie. The possibilities are endless. Satellite telephones are provided for each outpost cabin in case of emergencies or unforeseen problems at no additional charge. We fly out regularly with our small maintenance planes should you have any problems or special needs. There is no more relaxing fishing trip than a remote fly in fishing trip. Now let’s talk about the real reason for taking a fishing vacation – FISH! For over 40 years, Anderson’s Lodge has been the ultimate Canadian fishing lodge for world class Walleye , Smallmouth Bass , Northern Pike , Lake Trout and Muskie fishing trips. We offer a total of five species, not just the two or three that you find at other camps. To ensure your fishing experience is complete, we provide the options of fishing up to 9 lakes including the legendary Lac Seul . Planning on a day to day basis ensures your quality fishing experience for when you want to fish and for what species.

Take a look at the photo gallery from this past season and pay special attention to our list of names in the Sioux Lookout Master Angler Release Awards listing.  Most areas don’t have a Master Angler Awards Program let alone pay their guests’ entry fee.  Our Junior Angler Release Awards Program has become very popular for our guest 16 years and younger – it is a friendly fishing competition that provides for additional fun and education on the importance of fisheries conservation and management.

The Best Ontario Fishing Packages

Anderson’s Lodge provides for a variety of fishing vacation packages that will accommodate the novice and first time anglers to the fishing professional!  Choose from our Deluxe American Plan Bowrider Package , American Plan Package #1 , American Plan Package #2 , Housekeeping Package or a 1 st Class Fly-In Outpost vacation.  Enjoy the convenience of reserving from 3 nights and 2 days of fishing through to 7 nights and 6 days of fishing, arriving and departing on your preferred day of the week!

Fly-In Outpost packages are also designed with convenience and flexibility in mind.  Providing for trips 3 days to 7 days, flexible arrival and departure days along with new, top of the line equipment again provides for a first class fishing vacation.

A Great Dining Experience

For those that are reserving one of our three American Plan packages; be sure to check out our American Plan menu which shows you why your dining will be of the highest quality.  Unlike other lodges there are no fixed meal times.  You will dine in air-conditioned comfort each evening between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., with no line up’s at a buffet of food that has been sitting for hours.  At Anderson’s Lodge meals are prepared fresh to order each evening, served table side by a friendly, professional server.  The packages we offer are about you, and what works best for your total vacation experience.

Fly-In Outpost guests are welcome to join us for a great dining experience at Foxy’s Dining Room prior to their departure to the outpost camp the next morning.

If the best cabins are not enough to convince you, take a look at the equipment that is supplied in your package. We offer two types of boats from the main lodge; the first is a 16’ Lund with a new 25 h.p. Yamaha engine, or if you prefer more comfort and luxury, we offer you a custom-built 21’ Bowrider with a new 150 h.p. Yamaha engine and a new 9.9 h.p. Yamaha trolling engine. From the Fly-In Outpost camps – 16’ Lunds with new 25 h.p. Yamaha engines. Very few camps offer choices, not to mention new motors each year.

These first class cabins extend to our Fly-In Outpost operations as well. Tuktegweik Bay , Kakebeka Narrows , Tom’s Landing and Pickerel Narrows located on the northeast end of the legendary Lac Seul are new, state of the art facilities for Fly-Ins, providing some of the most appreciated comforts of home right in Mother Natures’ own back yard. Our fishing vacation packages will always be about providing our guests the best, most comfortable accommodations, regardless of the type of package you reserve.

Ara Lake Fly in Outposts

Ara Lake is around a 30-minute flight northwest of Nakina and one of the top Walleye lakes in Ontario. This fly-in lodge is strategically located so that it's just a short boat ride to Meta Lake, where the fishing is almost as good as Ara's outpost camp. Ara Lake has been producing a lot of Monster Northern Pike and its fantastic Walleye fishing seems to get better every year.

Dusey Lake Lodge

Dusey Lake Fly in Outpost

Dusey Lake is the lake that everybody talks about on fishing message boards but few have been lucky enough to actually fish it. In all fishing groups, there is a difference of interest. Some guys want Walleye, some guys want Pike and others Want Brook Trout. Dusey Lake is the perfect fly-in lake and offers everybody in your group what they are looking for. The biggest Bull Moose to date was harvested at Dusey.

Kagianagami Outpost Camps

Kagianagami Lake Fly in Outpost

An hour of flying north of Nakina is Kagianagami Lake. Most refer to it as Kag Lake. Our camp is located at the north end in the narrows between Kag Lake and the outflow of the Opichuan River. Kag Lake is an awesome lake if you like Big Walleyes, Monster Northern Pike, Gigantic Lake Trout, and nice Brook Trout. This is the ideal location to plan your Ontario Fly-in Fishing trip!

Kapikotongwa Lake Outpost

We have a camp on Kapikotongwa Lake, which most people call Kap Lake for short. This is one of the hottest Walleye lakes in Ontario. From the cabins, you have many miles to fish. The lake is connected to Tennant Lake and Melchett Lake, which gives you three top lakes to fish.

Marshall Lake Outpost

Marshall Lake is another top Walleye and Northern Pike lake. The fishing for Walleye is just as good as Ara Lake. There is a high population of Perch and Whitefish as well. Marshall Lake also has a reputation for big Northern Pike. There was also a huge Bull Moose shot at Marshall Lake. If you are planning a fly-in fishing trip in Ontario, this is a great camp to consider.

Teabeau Lake Outpost

Flying out to Teabeau Lake is more than a fishing trip; it's a great adventure and something our guests will talk about for the rest of their lives. It's our farthest north and most remote camp. Teabeau Lake is a widening of the famous Albany River. The Albany River is stuffed with Walleye, and you can also catch Brook Trout.

Wayner Lake Outpost

Wayner Lake brings non-stop Walleye and Northern Pike action as well as fishing for Sturgeon and Whitefish. This lake has produced Northern Pike over fifty inches. Wayner Lake is just north of the Ogoki Reservoir and the Sketch River, which runs through the lake, flows into the Ogoki River. The river is constantly supplying the lake with fresh water and food along with providing perfect spawning habitat.
