A bit disappointed, i just felt the set of songs wasn't right, they should have played more the tracks that have a greater depth and meaning. The group it self just seemed to be going through the motions. Glad i went however wasn't particularly wowed by the night. 6/10.

B & E let it rip from the start till the end, one of the best performances I have seen from them. The crowd was at frenzy point throughout the concert. Don't leave it another 2 years boys..

The Australian hip hop trio will celebrate their third album with shows around the country this October.

Update:  Following hectic demand in the ticket pre-sale,  Bliss N Eso  have confirmed there'll be second dates added to Melbourne and Sydney for the upcoming tour. Check out all the dates and details further below. 

Original Story:  Released in 2008, Flying Colours was the record that truly put Bliss N Eso on the map. It was their first Top 10 Album Chart entry, won the ARIA Award for Best Urban Release, and later became only the second Australian hip hop album to be certified Gold.

Tracks like 'The Sea Is Rising', 'Eye of the Storm' and 'Woodstock 2008' were all over triple j at the time, and made it into the Hottest 100 of 2008.

It was a critical and commercial game-changer for Bliss N Eso, so it only make sense that the group are commemorating its 15th birthday with a limited edition vinyl pressing and an anniversary tour through capital cities around the nation.

Jonathan 'MC Bliss' Notley is "pumped" to be hitting the road later this year, saying in a statement:

"We are blessed to have had such an amazing career that is still as strong as ever and Flying Colours was truely [sic] such a pivotal point in our trajectory.

"Even when I play it today I can really hear that monumental shift in our sound and growth as artists. It's rare these days that a body of work stands the test of time and still means so much to so many people. Even more than winning our first ARIA award with this album, it was the deep connection with our fans this album created that really spawned the fanbase we have today and that's what means the most."

Flying Colours is also being pressed onto vinyl for the first time, "the icing on the cake" Notley notes. It's available in transparent red and gold and per-order will be available from Thursday 20 July.

Coming off the back of two huge 2022 tours, Bliss N Eso will perform Flying Colours in full - along with their big hits - at stops in Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Hobart, Sydney, Brisbane.

"There's so many bangers on this record that are constantly requested but we rarely get to play live, so to break these bad boys out for the first time in years and let 'em rip all together is going to be INSANE."

Bliss N Eso announce national ‘Wheel Of Tunes’ tour with interactive setlists

Fans will be invited onstage to pick their songs throughout the show

Bliss N Eso have announced a five-date national tour, with each show sporting a unique setlist chosen by fans in realtime as the night progresses.

The unique setup will see punters become a part of the actual performance, with the group inviting fans on-stage between songs. Those chosen will then be asked to spin a giant wheel, which will determine what song Bliss N Eso perform next. All of the songs on the wheel will be deep cuts from the group’s catalogue.

In a press release, the trio explained their decision to create the tour concept. “Everyone loves new music, but the real fans love the cult classics,” they said. “It’s what made them fall in love with us in the first place! So, this is their chance to be part of the show and help choose the setlist live on the spot.”

The run will kick off in Adelaide on Wednesday November 23, when Bliss N Eso will perform at The Gov. The tour will head to Melbourne next, playing 170 Russell the following night (November 24), before moving on to Brisbane for a show at The Tivoli on Saturday November 26. Rounding out the first week of December, the trio will play Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Thursday December 1, followed Fremantle’s Metropolis on Saturday December 3.

Tickets for all of the shows will go on sale at 11am local time next Thursday (October 6), with a Frontier Touring pre-sale running from the same time next Tuesday (October 4). Find tickets for the Brisbane show here , and for the rest (as well as info on the pre-sale) here .

In their group statement, Bliss N Eso continued: “We have never done anything like this before, and it’s seriously epic. Some of these songs have been requested repeatedly for years, and we have never played them live before, so we are super stoked to make this an [sic] historical show.”

Before the tour kicks off, Bliss N Eso will perform at this year’s NRL Grand Final this Sunday (October 2). The group are set to headline the performing roster alongside Jimmy Barnes , with other performers including Diesel , Josh Teskey of the Teskey Brothers and Emma Donovan .

Bliss N Eso released their seventh album, ‘The Sun’, last August via Flight Deck and Mushroom. It spawned several singles, including ‘Lighthouse’ , ‘Send It’ , ‘Good People’ (featuring Kasey Chambers ), ‘OG’s’ (featuring Chillinit ), ‘On One’ (featuring Dizzee Rascal ) and ‘Tell The World That I’m Coming’ .

Back in July, the group followed the album up with a standalone single, entitled ‘Not Today’ . The group also appeared in the film 6 Festivals , where all three members starred as themselves in a brief cameo.

Just days away from the fourth anniversary of their latest studio album, Aussie hip-hop stalwarts Bliss n Eso have unveiled a run of national tour dates, revealed alongside their first new single of the year.

Set to take place throughout June and July, the group’s ‘Send It’ tour (named for their 2020 single of the same name) will see the group kicking things off in Sydney, before visiting Adelaide, Fremantle, Brisbane, and Melbourne within the space of a month.

The group’s first large-scale tour since 2019, the forthcoming dates appear to be a welcome sign of relief for Bliss n Eso. “This is by far the longest break we’ve had from our home on stage,” they explained in a statement. “To say that we’re hungry for it doesn’t come close-we are gonna EAT that stage!! After 18 months of hell… who is ready to Send It!?!?”

This weekend will also see Bliss n Eso perform for the latest edition of  Music from The Home Front , where they will give their new single, “Good People”, its debut. Officially released today, the track sees the hip-hop outfit teaming up with country icon Kasey Chambers.

Described as “an emotive slice of pop-driven rap that drives home the value in surrounding yourself with truly good people”, it sounds like something of a surprisingly left-turn for the group on paper, though they explain Chambers’ influence has been there throughout their career, with her brother Nash Chambers having spearheaded Bliss n Eso’s first studio session when they were just 17 years old.

“Kasey, Nash and their mum and dad were all in a band together called The Dead Ringers at the time and we spent the night with the whole family recording beats and having laughs,” recalls Eso. “Ever since then we have stayed in touch with Kasey and Nash, even while working on this current album Kasey would drop off homemade cookies to our studio for the whole crew to indulge.

“It was in these moments that we were creating ‘Good People’ and we needed a female singer to elevate the track, it didn’t take long to realise that the angel that was surprising us with cookies was not only the perfect choice but the actual personification of the song itself. Kasey loved the track, and the rest is history.”

Bliss n Eso are hitting the road for a special run of shows. The Aussie hip hop act have announced a full-scale Australian tour to celebrate the 15th birthday of their ARIA Award-winning, Platinum-certified album Flying Colours . Kicking off this October, the trio will perform the LP in its entirety on six massive stages across the country, with shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Hobart, Sydney and Brisbane.

“Honestly, this album was such game changer for us and we’re so pumped to be hitting the road to celebrate its 15th anniversary with all our beloved fans,” MC Bliss aka Jonathan Notley said in a press statement. 

“We are blessed to have had such an amazing career that is still as strong as ever and Flying Colours was truely such a pivotal point in our trajectory. Even when I play it today I can really hear that monumental shift in our sound and growth as artists. It’s rare these days that a body of work stands the test of time and still means so much to so many people,” he continued.

The group’s defining LP will be pressed on vinyl for the first time to commemorate the big milestone, with limited edition transparent red and gold options available. It will be ready for your record players on Friday, 3rd November (pre-order it here now).

Bliss n Eso’s Flying Colours album was released on 26th April, 2008, and featured the hit singles ‘Woodstock 2008’, ‘Bullet and a Target’, ‘The Sea is Rising’ and ‘Eye of the Storm’.

Illusive Presents  and  Frontier Touring  are pumped to announce a national Australian tour for one of the country’s finest hip hop acts,  Bliss n Eso . The ‘Send It Tour’ will see the group bring their infectious energy and unmatchable flow to audiences in Sydney, Adelaide, Fremantle, Brisbane and Melbourne throughout June/July 2021. 

The ‘Send It Tour’ kicks off Friday 25 June at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre, then heading to Thebarton Theatre Adelaide on Thursday 1 July, Metropolis Fremantle on Saturday 3 July and Eatons Hill Hotel Brisbane on Saturday 10 July, before wrapping up with two Melbourne shows at 170 Russell on Thursday 22 July and Friday 23 July.

Today marks another anchoring moment in the hip hop giants’ career with the release of their first 2021 single, feel good tune  ‘Good People (feat. Kasey Chambers)’ . This fresh single will make its live debut with the group’s performance on stage at Sidney Myer Music Bowl for this year’s  Music From The Home Front  concert. Illusive Presents and Frontier Touring are excited to announce a 29-date metro and regional Australian tour for one of the country’s finest hip hop acts, Bliss n Eso . In what is a truly national tour, the three-time ARIA-award winning group will take their electric energy and unmatchable flow to audiences in every Australian state and territory throughout January to July 2022.

Due to ongoing restrictions and border closures across Australia, tickets from the Bliss n Eso 2021 Send It Tour will be transferred to the 2022 The Sun Tour dates. Ticket holders to the 2021 Send It Tour don't need to take any action + will be emailed directly by ticketing agencies.
