FUN and EXCITING way to the MEKONG DELTA

"We took the Authentic Real Mekong Delta to Ben Tre tour from Saigon River Tour in April and it was everything we hoped it would be. I really wanted to see and experience the Mekong Delta during our visit to Vietnam. We could have taken one of the many land-based excursions but then we would have been trapped in a van for several hours each way. Instead, we choose the Saigon River Tour and we are so glad we did. We met the boat at the pier in District 1, which was very close to our hotel. Our guide, Rambo, welcomed us on board and we were off down the Saigon River. Rambo told us much about what we were passing as we made our way downriver. He was very knowledgeable about Saigon, the history and what we were looking at. We were absolutely blown away by the amount of boat traffic on the Saigon River and then on the Mekong when we got there. And it made it so much better to be on the river ourselves and be part of the water highway. The excursion on Unicorn Island gave us a nice introduction into life on the Mekong Delta. The tour included a lunch that was unbelievable! So many good foods and so many choices! Then we settled in for the two hour return on the river. And the entire time we just took in the wild adventure that is life on the rivers of Vietnam."

Which is 1 hour far form HCMC by speedboat. You can see urban, ports, mangrove forest on the way to Tieng Lieng Island. And when you are on land, you can find lots of funs. Drink local teas, watch traditional musical performances, see how salt are harvest, and experience herb feet bath. The most important bonuses are the fresh air and the warm welcoming hosts. Pick up at Saigontourist office or your hotel. Depart by speedboat and observe the bustling, historic city from the water. Explore winding canals and tributaries in a setting similar to the Mekong Delta, with traditional riverside landscapes and lush jungle expanses before watching the city’s skyline beautifully lit up at the sunset. During the tour you will visit a unique floating temple in Go Vap district, reachable only by boat. Finger food and unlimited soft drinks are available on board throughout the cruise.

The best boat tour! We went at sunset. The boat and crew were outstanding! They offer snacks and drinks on board. Any questions we had about sites our guide had extensive knowledge of all the sights.

Absolutely loved our river tour! We were lucky enough to be the only couple on this particular tour, so Hanh, our tour guide, tailored the experience to us, so it was like our own private tour. Hanh was always ready to answer any questions we had and gave us some great history about Ho Chi Minh along the way, but she also...

Lovely experience; a must do when in Saigon. We took our guests who were visiting and they felt it was the best thing that they did while in Saigon. They organize snacks, drinks (beer on tap), cutlery, crockery, music et al…you don't have to do anything. Plus there is a toilet onboard too
