Capturing Moments

Capturing moments in photos is something I love to do. It’s a great way to express your feelings and emotions without having to say anything.

I used to make the mistake of not taking photos to live better in the present, but now I know that memory can fade, and now I love capturing moments in photos because it brings back all the beautiful memories from the past.

  • Sailing and boating
  • A photo of your tour guide showing you something

  • Your going away party
  • The reflection of something in the water, like an animal or a tree
  • An empty bus stop on a rainy day
  • An empty street in the rain
  • The terrace of a café on a sunny day

Creating a Social Impact

Traveling is about more than just seeing the sights and taking selfies. It’s about taking in your surroundings, learning about other cultures, and connecting with the people around you. And when you travel to a place that needs more attention, it’s even more important to spread that awareness. After all, travel isn’t just about exploring new places – it’s also an opportunity to contribute to the lives of the people you meet.

  • A place destroyed by natural disasters.
  • Plastic bottles on the beach
  • Taking a photo of an endangered species
  • A national park
  • Unusual weather
  • The local school that needs help
  • Local charity (make sure the organization is reputable)
  • Photo of your donation
  • The entrance to an orphanage (don’t take pictures of children unless you have official permission to do so)
  • A picture of an abandoned building or house
  • An animal shelter
  • Local vegetarian or vegan food
  • Local wildlife
  • Take a picture of yourself holding up a handwritten sign that says, “I believe in peace.”
  • A CO2-reduced mode of transportation

What Makes a Good Travel Photo?

Whether you’re traveling alone or with friends, taking photos is a great way to document your trip.

The best travel photos are those that capture the natural beauty of your surroundings. Whether you’re traveling alone or with friends, taking photos on the road is a great way to document your trip.

Here are a few photography tips on how to capture beautiful images and make sure they look their best:

Shoot in Color Instead of Black and White

Color is more than just a pretty face. It’s also your best friend when it comes to travel photography, helping you capture the vibrancy of your surroundings and giving your vacation pictures a time frame as technology advances.

When you shoot in color, you have the ability to capture every detail and texture of a scene. You don’t have to worry about getting the perfect exposure or how the image will look on paper – you can just focus on capturing what you have in front of you and worry about the rest later.

Black and white photography, on the other hand, requires you to think about what makes an image work, because there’s no color to cover imperfections or distract from flaws in composition or subject matter. Rather than focusing on getting everything right in every shot, black-and-white photography requires you to analyze every element in the image to ensure that everything fits together seamlessly for maximum impact – whether it’s making sure that each subject is sufficiently separated from the others, or ensuring that there is enough contrast between light sources and shadows within a scene so that there are no unwanted distractions from what should be the focus of the image.

What makes black and white photos special is that black and white photos are timeless, while color photos can quickly look dated as technology advances. Some photographers even choose to convert their images to black and white after the fact, believing that it gives them more creative freedom than shooting in color.

Color is vibrant and eye-catching, but black and white can be just as impressive – if not more so – than its counterpart.

When Possible, Use Natural Light

When traveling and taking photos, it’s easy to get into the habit of shooting only when the sun is shining. But if you have the time, you should shoot with natural light as much as possible.

Natural light is softer than artificial light and gives your photos a more flattering look. It also makes your subjects look more natural and less posed.

If you don’t have much time or access to natural light, find a place with good artificial lighting. If you’re at a restaurant, ask if there are any empty seats where the light isn’t too bright or harsh. If there isn’t, move outside or around the corner to another area where the lighting is better than your current spot.

Experiment With Angles and Perspectives

Photography is about capturing the world around you. It’s not just about taking a photo, it’s about conveying your feelings and emotions. The best travel photos are the ones that show you a place from an angle or perspective you’ve never seen before. Experiment with different angles and perspectives to make your photos even more interesting – you may discover something new about a place that no one has noticed!

Don’t be afraid to get creative with your camera. Using filters and other effects can add life to your images, but remember that these are just tools, not rules. If something doesn’t work for you, don’t use it again!

A photo should tell a good story. When choosing where to shoot, look for areas where there are lots of exciting objects that you can include in the shot – a fountain or sculpture would be ideal. If there are no apparent subjects, look for patterns in architecture or street signs; these can make great subjects for photos!

Get Up Close and Personal With Your Subject

Zoom in to see the details of a flower, or zoom out to capture the scene of a busy cityscape.

Zooming in allows you to focus on one part of the image while leaving other parts out of focus. This can be very effective at isolating your subject from its surroundings and focusing the viewer’s attention on what matters most to you.

When photographing landscapes and scenery, use a wide-angle lens that shows large areas of the landscape in one shot. If you’re photographing small objects like flowers or insects, you should use a macro lens that allows you to take extreme close-ups that show intricate details of small objects like petals and leaves.

How to Share Your Travel Photos

We used to organize an evening with family and friends to share our travel experiences. Nowadays, everything is shared instantly. So if you’re a photography enthusiast, it’s time to start thinking about your next trip.

There are many ways to share your photos online. Here are some tips on how to show off your travel photos online:

Set Up an Online Gallery

Setting up an online gallery is the easiest way to show off your travel pictures. There are many services on the Internet, including Flickr and SmugMug. You can also use your website or blog to showcase your photos.

The purpose of an online gallery is to share your best shots with friends and family, as well as potential clients and employers. If you’re serious about becoming a professional photographer, it’s a good idea to create such a gallery, even if you don’t plan to charge money to view photos.

Use Social Media

If you don’t have much time and don’t mind strangers seeing your pictures, you can post them on social media. Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat are easy ways to share photos with friends. You can also post them on travel forums or blogs if you want feedback and advice from other travelers.

  • On Facebook, simply upload your favorite travel photos to your Timeline and tag them with where they were taken. Your friends will see them in their news feeds over time – some may even like them or comment on them!
  • On Instagram, use hashtags to link your Instagram photo to other images from the exact location (e.g., “#paris”). This way, people can search for images related to their destination and find yours too!
  • If you use Snapchat, create a story that lasts 24 hours so people can view a series of snaps together without having to keep going back to old snaps. If you’re on Twitter or Tumblr, try posting updates in real time by sharing photos with your followers every few minutes (or seconds!). This is fun for both sides because it creates a sense of excitement for what’s happening!

Create a Blog

A blog is one of the most effective ways to show off your travel memories of the best places you’ve been and the amazing people you’ve met, while detailing your trip. Nowadays, blogs are easy and intuitive to create and can be used to showcase your best shots from around the world.

Blogs are also great for sharing your experiences with others, such as advice on what to do or not do when visiting a particular place or region. For example, if you’ve been to Australia several times and know the best places to go, why not share some tips about those places on your blog? You might even want to share some stories about your experiences there!

Another reason blogging can be beneficial is the opportunity to connect with people who have traveled to similar places. This is especially important if you want to connect with like-minded people from around the world with similar interests.

The first step is to choose a platform on which to create your blog. There are many options, like WordPress or Tumblr, but they all offer similar features. The next step is to choose a template that fits your style and needs.

You can also use free websites like Weebly or Squarespace, which allow you to create a beautiful website without any coding knowledge.

A great way to showcase your photos is to use a grid layout, where each image fills an entire column or row. This way, users can see each travel photo without having to scroll down a lot, which makes browsing photos much easier.

Another good option is to add captions under each travel photo so viewers can read what’s happening in each image or why you chose it as one of your favorites.

Create a Physical Travel Photo Album With Your Favorite Photos

A physical travel photo album of your favorite photos is a great way to showcase your photos, especially for those who don’t use the internet, like older people.

It’s also a great way to preserve your memories and share them with family and friends. Or maybe you want to stay offline to protect your privacy.

You can create a photo book at home or hire someone to create it. Many companies offer a photo book service where the book is designed and printed for you.

You can also design a photo book yourself at home or hire someone to create it. Many companies offer a photo book service where they design and print the book for you.

Here are some tips on how to create a physical photo album:

  • Select your favorite travel photos from your collection . It’s better to start with fewer photos than too many, because it can be difficult to choose which vacation photos to put in an album.
  • Select your favorite photos in terms of quality and content – this will ensure that all the images go well together. For example, if you’re creating a vacation album, all the pictures should have been taken during that road trip so they have similar backgrounds and lighting conditions.
  • Create a theme for your album (e.g., “vacation,” “family portrait,” “friends”). If you give yourself guidelines for what kind of photos you need, it’ll be easier for you to choose good photos from your collection.
  • Consider adding captions or short descriptions next to each photo . These little extras make the album more personal and interactive – perfect if it’s intended as a gift!

30+ Cute And Comfy Travel Outfits

Outfits , Style

Traveling is composed of different mini-adventures: going to the airport, waiting for the next layover, going to brunches, dinners, field trips, night markets, museums, and more. No matter where you are going on a vacation, you want to make sure that you’re dressed comfortably and are ready to travel.

Two crucial factors that you must remember when you pick outfits for travel are context and appropriation. Some places (e.g synagogues, temples, museums, etc) may require you to dress modestly, so doing a brief research on the place you’re visiting is important.

Comfort is also something you should consider when picking an outfit. When you travel, it’s best to keep it on the comfy and safe side. Wear clothes that you have already worn before or try doing a “dress rehearsal” for your new clothes before your trip so you don’t end up with a piece of clothing that’s uncomfortable once you’re already stuck on a plane. You would want to wear something that you know works.

And, of course, you can’t forget about style. Adding a bit of style and thought into your outfit will not hurt unless you take away the comfort from the equation. Always pick your pieces with both comfort and style present.

I’ll share some of my favorite outfit pieces and outfit combos next. Otherwise, scroll ahead to check out 30+ travel outfits for inspo!

Invest in Basics:

Investing in basics can give you the opportunity to pack light on your trip. Bring a couple of “repeatable” pieces that are not easily spotted. It doesn’t mean that you will be wearing one boring outfit the whole way, it just means packing something versatile and something you can mix and match.

This is particularly important if you’ll be traveling a lot. For example, you might be flying a few different times during your trip and taking a train. You don’t need tons of different outfits just to get from one point to another!

Of course, bring in some trendy pieces to combine with your tidy whities and your sleek blacks.

1. Leggings

Leggings are kind of a travel staple. I literally never get on a plane without them. If you’re on a trip, especially a tour or an airport layover, you would want to keep it flexible but stylish. Instead of a dress, wear a cute but casual top (like a crew neck sweatshirt or sweater) over leggings.

2. White/Black Sneakers

Classic white/black sneakers are a travel must-have. You just can’t go without them, especially on a plane or in a car. A pair of classic white/black sneakers are the epitome of comfort and style. Plus, these sneakers can definitely be used during the rest of your trip.

And besides, tired feet are the ultimate spoilsport. Wearing pretty but uncomfortable shoes may cause blisters, keeping your head out of the fun. A snug pair can keep your feet in the best condition.

3. Classic White Tee

An all-around white tee is another wardrobe (or suitcase in this circumstance) must-have. It is as versatile as it can get! Once you’re at your destination, you can wear it with a maxi skirt, tailored pants, shorts, and culottes — the possibilities are endless. Plus, when in doubt, you can always throw on a white tee for your plane ride or road trip.

4. Denim Jacket

No matter the season, a good ol’ denim jacket is the best lifesaver. It is stylish, comfy, and thick — perfect for warming up for a quick nap at the airport. It looks great with black, white, gray, and beige. Pairing it with a floral ensemble is also a good idea as it balances the elements present by adding a classic and neutral show.

5. Lightweight Jacket

Alternatively, you can bring a lightweight jacket to the airport during the summer. The sun may be up and about, but surely, you can’t survive in the airport or the plane with a crop top without catching a bit of a cold. Choose a comfortable but still cute jacket to dress up a pair of leggings.

On the other hand, if you like to keep a light suitcase during colder months, a pocketable down jacket is your best bet.

6. Leather Jacket

A leather jacket is the best alternative to a denim jacket if you’re looking for something thick, stylish, and durable. If your style is edgier, a leather jacket is the best travel companion.

This can also elevate your outfit pretty quickly.

7. Crew Neck Sweatshirt

I’m loving the crew neck sweatshirt right now. It can be layered with so many different outfit pieces (jacket, leggings, etc.) and is  so comfy but trendy.

Comfy And Cute Outfit Ideas

Here are my favorite cute and comfy outfit ideas for your road trip, plane ride, or general day of travel.

Denim Jacket + Crop Top + Sweats + White Sneakers

Crop top and sweats? Sloppy. Add in a nice denim jacket and a pair of sneakers? Super stylish. Traveling with comfort and style just takes a little statement piece to stand out!

Black Hoodie + Black Pants + Blazer + Black Sneakers

Want to make an edgy street style appearance as soon as you get to your destination? Adding a little unique twist can make up for it. You’ll be ready to rock the streets when you land.

White Collared Blouse + Knit Sweater + Black Leggings + Black Sneakers

Going on a business trip? You don’t have to wear sweats to stay comfortable during a long trip. Wear a nice knitted sweater over a white collared blouse for a presentable, stylish, and comfy fit. You’ll never have to worry about seeing a client on your flight.

Crop Sweater + High-waist Leggings + Sneakers

Want to keep it simple? You don’t have to make a lot of fuss – especially if you’re rushing about or if you’re just trying to keep it a hundred percent comfy.

Oversized Sweater Dress + Sneakers

Traveling in the cold seasons? An oversized sweater dress and a pair of sneakers can keep you snug and cozy in one go. This is one of my favorite looks for a road trip or train ride during the fall/winter.

Knit Crop Sweater + Black Biker Shorts + White Sneakers

A carefree ensemble. Put on a nice knit crop sweater and a pair of biker shorts so you can move swiftly and freely during long waiting times. I would bet for a Kim Kardashian-inspired ensemble (beige crop sweater + black biker shorts + bulky sneakers).

White Shirt + Ripped Jeans + Jacket on waist + White Sneakers

Don’t know what to wear? Wear what you already have! With an all-around white tee paired with distressed jeans, you can easily come up with a complete stylish fit. For an added accent, you can put on a jacket or sweater on waist that can come in handy when it starts to get cold in-flight.

Black Sports Bra/Crop Top + Leggings + Oversized Coat + Sneakers

Going on a quick trip? A sports bra top underneath a nice oversized coat can give you a chic on-the-go aura – like you’re waiting to get on the next plane for a yoga session in a different city. Love the vibe!

Grey Shirt + Denim Jacket + Black Pants + White Sneakers

You can never go wrong with monochrome. Black pants and a nice loose grey shirt can make a nice outfit for quick coffee trips during a layover. A denim jacket can keep you warm when the A.C. is on high!

Striped B&W Tee + Silk Scarf + White Pants + White Sneakers

Want to travel like a Parisian? A striped tee and a printed silk scarf can give you a classy, chic, and sophisticated aura. Personally, the best outfit to get croissants with.

Vintage Rock Band Tee + Leather Jacket + Washed Denim Pants + Sneakers

If your style is more hipster-like, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t rock a vintage band tee on your trip. The best example of this ensemble would be one of Kendall’s favorite fits. For the jeans, I would prefer to wear distressed black than dyed denim. But it’s all up to you!

White Tee + Black Jeans + Grey or beige Cardigan + Sneakers

Wearing a cardigan is like wearing a blanket. If you’re dreaming of a comfy, cozy trip, you should get invest in a high-quality cardigan.

Where To Buy Comfy Travel Pieces:

Converse is one of the best cult classic brands out there. Starting out as a basketball shoe, it has grown into a stylish wardrobe must-have. No matter what your personal style is, a pair of Chucks can seamlessly blend into it. Plus, they have a variety of colors to choose from. Personally, I would pick their Black All-Star Chucks , but playing with colors is a fun way to add spark to your outfit.

Alternative to the classic All-Star pair, Vans play a healthy competition with Converse. It started out as a skate shoe, eventually growing into a must-have pair in hipster communities. If your style is composed of rock band tees, distressed jeans, plaid — Vans is a good brand to consider.

If you have a bit more budget, a pair of classics from Nike is a great addition to your travel fits. My favorite is a pair of white Air Force casual sneakers that I usually pair with neutral ensembles, monochrome outfits, and printed dresses! It is a bit bulkier than a pair from Converse and Vans, but it balances the volume in some of my outfits.

If you’re a sneakerhead, there are a lot of other choices from Nike as well – a pair of Jordans look good with any comfy travel outfit as well.

American Apparel

American Apparel is good at providing high-quality basics and stylish clothing. A lot of their pieces are inspired by trendy silhouettes, but they are all grounded in versatile and classic elements. Crop tops, skirts, and denim are some of my favorites from them. Plus, they’re a hundred percent American-made!

Uniqlo is a home for affordable high-quality, technical, comfy, and stylish pieces. This is the haven for people who are passionate about packing light. Find pocketable down jackets, windbreakers, vests, and Airism (lightweight) technology tees that are guaranteed accessible — no matter your budget.

H&M has everything for the trendy traveler. Find rock band tees, distressed tops, cut-out crop tops that look laid-back and fashionable. They also have the best selection of sweaters in my opinion. From knits, crops, cotton, and more!

If you’re a fan of DIY-inspired clothing, you can find a lot of distressed jeans and cut-out shirts from the store. I’ve always loved DIY, but being able to buy clothes that are close to my imaginings always comes in handy. And H&M almost always gets what I have in mind

Along with H&M, you can mix up your travel wardrobe with classy and “trendy basics” from Zara. I particularly love their neutral and classy palettes (beige, cream, black, gray). And their coats are always on point!

Nordstrom is home to luxury brands like Marc Jacobs, Balenciaga, Bottega, Veneta, Coach, Burberry, and Jacquemus. I love bringing a small belt bag that can fit my travel needs (passport, ID, wallet, keys, etc) along with a tote where I can fit a book to keep me company but I don’t keep important belongings in a tote where I am most likely to replace. In that way, you don’t end a trip empty-handed.

Travel Outfits: How to Look Chic When You’re Flying

travel outfits

Listen—I’m all about rocking a cute travel outfit when I’m heading out of town…but I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing heels to the airport.

To be honest, I don’t even like wearing jeans on a plane (although I’ll occasionally make an exception if they’re REALLY comfortable jeans , or if my flight is under three hours.)

Usually you’ll find me rocking a head-to-toe set of my favorite affordable cashmere during the winter, and a lightweight loungewear set during the summer.

I often see pictures of bloggers at the airport posing next to their cute pink luggage wearing like…wedges and a mini-dress. HARD PASS. How is that even comfortable? When you’re en route to the airport (and your final destination) it’s all about feeling comfortable.

For this reason, I decided to put together a little guide to cute travel outfits…featuring things that you’ll actually want to travel in , whether you’re heading out for a winter getaway or a girls trip .

Because believe it or not, it’s possible to rock comfy loungewear, leggings, or a jumpsuit and still look SUPER chic, as long as you style them properly (especially my favorite faux leather leggings .)

Below are a handful of great travel outfits I found while trolling IG—and the exact things you can buy to replicate them.

(Also: if you’re also on the hunt for stylish carry-on luggage or if you need some good go-to travel toiletries…I got you covered.)

Chic Travel Outfits

Travel Outfits

Here, I’m sharing a handful of my go-to travel outfit pieces. These are all items that I think you should have in your closet regardless of how often you go on a getaway, but they just so happen to be particularly comfy choices when going on a plane.

These picks will of course depend on how long your flight is and where you’re headed, but overall, I think they’re practical for travel days.

The only caveat here is that I know a jumpsuit isn’t exactly ideal if you’re going on a long-haul flight—however—I personally don’t mind wearing them on planes because they’re so comfy and not really that difficult to slip in and out of when you need a bathroom break.

If jumpsuits aren’t your jam, there are plenty of other ideas in this post that should work for you, like a cute matching sweatsuit or leggings and a leather jacket. Without further ado, here are the staples I’d recommend having on hand for travel days.

This post gave me a more clear idea of what I will wear when travelling and I especially loved the part where you mentioned the all black and all white monochromatic looks .

I do not think I would wear white on a plane. No to the belly sticking out as well. I do like the stretchy pants and sneakers.

Why would anyone wear a jumpsuit on a plane? The toilets are used by hundreds of people, now you want to pull down the top part of your clothes and have it dangling somewhere near the toilet, while you’re sitting on a toilet that exposes the part that gets wee on when the seat is up? Eeu that’s all kind of germ wrong!! But I do love the little 3/4 joggers! Def looking for some of those for my next long haul (when this pandemic is over!)

7 Creative Ways To Display Your Travel Memories

cute travel pictures tumblr

AD – This is an advertorial but all thoughts are my own

Travel and holidays make up a huge part of our lives. I don’t really think we realised how much we needed them until the past year when we weren’t allowed to go anywhere. Always the way, isn’t it? Although I’m not a particularly seasoned traveler, I still value my trips away very highly and right now… well, I’m desperate to go ANYWHERE.

cute travel pictures tumblr

Photo by Ryan Christodoulou on Unsplash

And I definitely can’t be the only person who’s been trawling through their travel photos more than usual either. Go on, admit it. Who’s had a cry over a glass of wine whilst looking at photos of far off beaches?

Okay that might be a bit OTT but you get my point.

WE MISS HOLIDAYS.

Although I can safely say I won’t be going abroad this year or perhaps even for the first half of 2022, I’m still mega excited to get back out there and experience things again. If you’ve been reading my blog for long enough, you’ll know I love a staycation and there are plenty of UK destinations I’d love to visit, as soon as I can!

But in the meantime, it’s just us, our memories and our photographs. And my holiday snaps are so special to me.

So whilst we wait (and wait and wait and wait) for things to re-open, for life to return to “normal” (whatever that’s going to be and to be able to go on holiday without worrying about COVID, there are plenty of things we can do instead.

I’m sure you’ve all got your own list of places you want to visit when this is over.

Or perhaps you’ve got a vision board or already planned an entire trip to your favourite place without booking it just yet?

Another thing I love to do, which is not only a great way to look back and reminisce about these wonderful holidays but is also a super relaxing activity is to get creative with my holiday photos. Either physically or digitally, there are a TON of things you can do with your holiday photos!

Here are 7 ideas of how you can creatively display those precious holiday memories!

Scrapbooking

If you’re a more hands-on creative then scrapbooking could be a great idea. If you have access to a printer, even better because you can print all your digital photos and then creatively display them in a scrapbook. Perhaps along with plane tickets, maps, receipts or anything else to bring your memory to life!

Create a photo book

I love photo books. I’ve created a few in my life for various people and for various occasions and they always turn out beautifully and make great gifts. Perhaps make a dedicated photo book for your favourite trip or a round up of your favorite holidays? The great thing here is that the freedom is yours!

Brands like Bonusprint offer a ton of options, including incredible photo books to help you create lasting memories with your photographs! And if photo books aren’t your thing, they have tons of other options too such as…

Display it proudly on the wall

If you’ve not got the time to actually to the creative work yourself, then getti ng a photo on canvas mad e for you to hang on your wall could be a wonderful option to display one of your favourite snaps from one of your favourite holidays in a room where you’ll always see it and be remembered of it. Using a wide format laminator to display artwork as an alternative to framing. Avoiding the use of glass means it is child friendly as well as lightweight, so it can be easily attached to the wall.

I make a calendar every single year for my Mum for Christmas with photos of our dog. It’s one of my favourite things to make online because it’s so much fun and the end result is super cute. This is another great way to display those beautiful holiday snaps and also doubles up as a practical household item as well.

Make a slideshow for your laptop

We all spend a ton of time on our computers so this is a great way to display travel memories because you know you’ll see them all the time! Create a slideshow of a specific trip or your favourite images and let them wash over your laptop screen all day!

Create a jigsaw from your holiday images

Okay I don’t mean literally create it yourself but there are a ton of places which allows you to upload a photo and they’ll turn it into a personalised jigsaw puzzle , which is so cool! So if you’re bored in lockdown AND want to reminisce over your favourite holiday, then this could be a great idea for you!

Make fridge magnets

You could purchase fridge magnets with a photo upload or even make magnets yourself – depending on your creativity level (and time and patience). But I think this is a really great idea because we’re ALWAYS going to be using the fridge, so we’ll always see them!

If you have a Cricut machine available, I recommend visiting Design Bundles, the leading digital marketplace for creatives and crafters. They have a range of designs available for anything you want to make at home, including   creative fridge magnets . Check out their range – they have plenty to pick from.

I’d love to hear the ways in which you display your holiday photos and memories? Have you done anything special with your photos over the last year, since we’ve not been able to travel? How much do you miss traveling? Let me know!

great ideas here. I have recently been combining my travel memories in a journal, together with photos, artwork i created plein air whilst on the adventure and with lots of different scrapbooking techniques and supplies to make a Travel Art Journal.

Sounds like a lovely thing to do x

This is great and just what I needed. I am definitely going to try these ideas out!

You provided a very attractive picture to your post. I like this picture so much. It motivates me to see the world around and keep a memory:)

Thanks for the tips

I liked these ideas. You definitely mentioned some I haven’t thought of.

I’m definitely a more of an “on-the-wall” type of person.

Although, there’s no reason I can’t do a jigsaw and put it on the wall! 😯

Haha, great article!

Definitely no reason why not!

These are great ideas! 🙂

Love these DIY ideas!

Thank you 🙂 x

This is a beautiful way to showcase them! I’m a “digital” person but still enjoy looking at old photo albums from my grandparents. I’ll check the photo album link for sure! Thanks and have a nice day!

I’m definitely a digital person too for convenience but I prefer physical photos for sure!

Totally agree! I love to go through the pages of old albums 🙂 Have a nice day!

I love these ideas. Can’t wait to travel again too!

I’ve blown up pictures and scrapbooked the framing, but I must try having them turned into a canvas print. That’s a great idea.

Canvas are amazing ways to showcase photos! 🙂

I will let you know how it comes out 🙂

Nice & Sweet post!! 🙂 Liked it.

Thanks for sharing, I have all the like postcards, magnets and other bits that I collected when on holiday as well the photo’s 🙂

I went to Florida just before 2020 and I made a scrapbook. Each page related to a different day. I love looking back on it, and it was a fun project to make too. Thank you for sharing this post. I do miss holidays so much and love looking back through the memories!

That’s a lovely idea and a great way to display your holiday memories!

I’m such a fan of a scrapbook! But I love the idea of making a calendar out of them!

Katie | katieemmabeauty.com

I love making calendars! x

I absolutely love scrapbooking! I also have a memory box which photos, flight tickets and even wristbands from all inclusives go in there! So many other great ideas in this post to keep all your memories in sight and in your heart forever xx

Awh yes I love my memory box too. Always nice to look back through!

I love scrapbooking and is a great way to display your pictures. I have made a photo book also. These are some other great ideas. Thank you for sharing.

It sure is!

I love scrapbooking for displaying photos but I really love the sound of a calender. I think it would make a great gift for your family members or even yourself x

Yesss I love making calendars!

One of my lockdown projects has been turning the many, many digital photos I have into photobooks. I really like the idea of magnets, too.

Bet that’s been a fun project!

I so agree with all of this! I’ve recently been printing my photos off from holidays and putting them up on the walls of my home. It’s a nice reminder of where I’ve been when I keep seeing the same four walls hahah

I bet! That’s a lovely idea 🙂 x

Love this post! I try to live pretty minimally so I use my blog to document my travels. BUT recently we purchased my grandma a digital frame from Frameo and I can send photos to it from my phone wherever I am! She has been stuck at home most of the year and she loves this frame. It makes a noise whenever she gets a new photo.

Oh I love digital frames! They’re a great idea 🙂

These are some great ideas! I usually make a scrapbook from the holidays I go again.

Lovely idea 🙂 x

These are some great ideas – I especially love photo books and calendars. I have loads of photos from past travels I haven’t done anything with so maybe now would be a good time! Thanks for sharing 🙂

Now would definitely be a good time! I love making photo calendars 🙂

The calendar and puzzle ideas sound so good! They’re definitely unique ways to bring back travel memories and reminisce about good times.

These are great suggestions. I’m currently just going through all of my dads negatives and scanning them onto the computer. So many of them are of my childhood holidays and I love the idea of creating a photobook to give to him.

Awh that’s a lovely idea!

Scrapbooking and photobooks are my fave way to display my travel memories, when i was a lot younger i used to keep EVERYTHING from the plastic cutlery on the airplane, attraction tickets and carrier bags from foreign supermarkets and id put it in a little tin and look at it every year haha! I’m sure I still have it!

Oh my god so did I!

Making a collage for each of the holidays.

Great idea 🙂

Love this post! We have a scrapbook and memory box filled with all our travelling memories so far. I can’t wait to add to it soon! xx

I love my memory box!

Love this! Thank you for sharing! I also miss travelling a lot and I can’t wait to go travelling again in the future! These ideas are so cool and I really want to make a scrapbook full of holiday memories.

I think we’ll all be cherishing these holidays more!

OMG! A jigsaw puzzle sounds so cute! I use to scrapbook but not anymore since trying to minimize my life/stuff! I have a hard drive with all my photos but I plan on developing a few and putting them in an album. Thanks for sharing, Jenny x

http://www.lynnmumbingmejia.com

I think having an album or two is still a lovely idea, even if you do live a more minimal lifestyle! x

I got a photo album for my trips away and it’s so lovely to look back on! These are lovely and creative ideas and ways to hold on to travel memories! x

Lucy | http://www.lucymary.co.uk

I love looking through photo albums 🙂

Really can’t wait to be able to travel safely again! We are huge fans of photo books since we were kids and our mom used to put them together and we kind of kept to it. I love the idea of the jigsaw and the magnets! can’t wait to have our own space and display them around the house, thanks for sharing x

Awh that’s lovely! x

Great ideas! A friend gifted me a puzzle of my favourite place in the world for Christmas and I thought that was such a thoughtful idea!

That’s a lovely idea! x

Great post! I love putting pictures in scrapbooks and adding little things from the trip…

Lovely idea! 🙂 x

I love doing travel scrapbooks to make my travel memories alive. Thank you for sharing your tips.

You’re welcome 🙂 x

I’m a big fan of photo books. Shocking right? Anything in the form of a book is my kind of thing haha! I don’t really do much traveling as is, but I do miss my yearly trips to Florida to visit my husband’s family. I don’t know when we’ll get to see them next. But when we do, I’ll have ideas for how to display the photographic evidence! 😉

Hahah I totally understand that! x

Another fantastic list of ideas, Jenny! We haven’t done anything with our honeymoon pictures yet because it felt like no time at all between that and COVID but I definitely want to do something with them soon and you’ve given me the inspiration to action that ASAP! 🙂

Ah you should! Hope you find something nice to do with them 🙂 x

Scrapbooking has to be my favourite way to display them because it’s fun to make! I’ve never thought about getting a jigsaw though, that would cool. We got my grandad a travel calendar so each month he has a place but the then there’s a wee pull out that shows our memories from that place!

Awh that’s a lovely idea! x

I admit I’m hopeless with organizing travel photos! These are good ideas. A magnet! Love it. Thanks.

You’re welcome 🙂

Love these ideas!

Thank you 🙂

We redecorated our whole house last year and took everything off the walls. Only now are we putting bits back up and it’s all of our holiday photos. We’ve got cute collages in the kitchen and stylish photo books in the living room!

Awh I bet that looks lovely x

Oh I want all the travel!! I have a post coming soon about journal prompts for travel lovers and it just makes me so excited to get out and about.

I already have plans over the summer to help my Dad make photobooks of all his and Mum’s adventures. I think it is such a lovely way to keep your travel memories x x

That’s a lovely thing for you and your dad to do! x

Aw these are some fab ideas! I love to scrapbook and fill it with everything I’ve collected from my travels xx

It’s a great way to get creative!

I have so many pictures of my holidays on the walls and as a background for my laptop, it makes me so happy thinking about those times. I also might consider making some fridge magnets as well though haha, great post!

You should if those photos make you happy!

I love the idea of turning it into a jigsaw! Although that might have to depend on the picture… Imagine trying to do an empty beach as a jigsaw? Aha! These are some great ideas – I’m rubbish at scrapbooking but I do love the idea of a photobook – I like the idea of having something physical to look through.

Yes same, I like having a physical thing to look through too!
