We booked a kayak rental for eight and enjoyed our time. We followed the white van with the kayaks and agreed to leave the kayaks by the lounge bear the parking. The trip down the river was spectacular, easy float and so much fun. Be aware: when we arrived back, getting out of the kayak was close to impossible but we did it. We left the kayaks by the water, as requested. Up hill we met with a female driver asking us to bring all the kayaks up hill and load them on her truck, she even insisted that we will not drag the kayaks but lift them from the ground, a two people effort. This was very difficult as we were a group of elderly with hip and kneee issues. We were not informed upon booking that we will have to deal with hard work after 3 hours on the river. Some of us needed some time to get used to walking on the ground, had a little imbalance. Not acceptable. And I cannot recommend this company due to this difficult end of trip experience.

A bunch of us just did the kayaking experience followed by the wine tasting!! It was a blast!! It was so fun and relaxing!! Danny, Shep and Cory were amazing!! They all did a great job getting us set up and instructing us on our kayaking adventure. What a great day!! We plan on coming back with family members!! Thanks for a wonderful day!! Shea

Very peaceful river trip with fun little rapids along the way. Thomas was great with communication and quickly getting us right out on the river. He also contacted me via text ahead of time to check-in, which made it more personable. I was kindly lent a water bag for the trip, but a back pack will really suffice. It was a gentle river with pretty low risk of falling in. Be aware this is about an hour south of Sedona. That would be my only recommendation: I didn't think that was very transparent when booking as I thought I was booking a Sedona river trip. And to their credit, it does say Beasley Flats in the description. I just don't know the area and sort of asssumed it would be nearby. But worth the drive and experience!

verde river rafting trips

My daughter and I had a great time tubing down the Verde River in July. We had so much fun. Great staff, too. It was awesome to float and we were with a nice group. They were even able to accommodate my cooler! Would highly recommend!

verde river rafting trips

We did the Inflatable Kayak adventure on 7/1/22 - Dakota was fantastic. He was helpful, informative, and dedicated to giving us the best possible experience. The pre-adventure communication was strong - providing email and text message reminders of where to meet, what to bring, and what conditions to expect. The equipment was high-quality and well-maintained. The trip itself was beautiful and fun. Overall, a great experience. Worth the cost. I strongly recommend this to anyone traveling in the area or interested in going up north for a day trip from the valley.

Photo of Heather C.

Our group of 10 had a wonderful afternoon of tubing down the river! Kenny was a great guide and host, driving us to the top of the river and explaining all the FAQs, later meeting us at the end. He was very entertaining and informative! We felt like we were the only ones going down the river and it was such a nice leisurely pace, just be on the lookout for the faster parts and make sure you go "butts up" to prevent any bruising! Note: You will have to drive on an unpaved road to get to the Bignotti picnic site so pick a car with higher clearance.

Photo of Gabrielle G.

The set up, drop off and pick up is explained clearly and everyone is friendly. Sucks that it's pretty booked since they had to adjust for COVID but I loved the tour, price wasn't bad, equipment wasn't old and it was a great time.

Photo of Sandy H.

Wanted to do something different for a monumental bday with friends and family this definitely fit the bill!!! Gave a great tutorial on kayaking before we started.

Photo of Travis T.

This was so much fun! I snagged a groupon for two people and it worked out perfectly to stop by on my way back from Sedona. The lady on the phone was nice to work with as I was booking my date. I guess they like to fill up the morning slots first before booking the afternoon ones. When I told her the afternoon works better for me, they were nice enough to accommodate my request. The meeting spot is located about 15 miles east of the Camp Verde exit. It's a bit of a drive and there is a short part where you drive through a bumpy road. Basically you park your car when you get there and they shuttle you down to the other end of the river where the kayaks are (Kenny was our driver and was very friendly and helpful). The trip down the river lasts about three hours and isn't difficult at all. The currents pretty much pull you so there isn't a ton of heavy paddling. The views are beautiful and it made for a nice and relaxing day. I highly recommend a trip down if you are planning to be in the area. Perfect for kids too!

verde river rafting trips

We just did the tour yesterday!!! We did not have any expectations, but at the end of our tour we were truly impressed!!! Right when we parked, Ken the shuttle driver welcomed us with a huge smile, happy to see us that we are a Seahawks fans and with his stories we were laughing all the way to our destination!!! Myself, I was very nervous, not a fan of any body of water but Ken's personality took all my worries away. The best part of this activity is that is not guided, you go at your own pace. Please don't stress about any difficulties, like me because there are none. The river is soo smooth and peaceful, there is no raging river at all. The little rapids are fun, nothing to worry about like me. The views and the river are breathtaking! If you think that Arizona is all desert take this tour. You will love every minute of it!!!

Kennebec River in Maine

Three adults paddle a raft down a river in Maine

White water rafting is better with friends

This is what people mean when they say "the great outdoors." The Kennebec River winds through pristine wilderness, and it is not unusual to see a bald eagle soaring above the water. Begin your journey below the Harris Station hydroelectric dam, and prepare for mile after exhilarating mile in Class II-IV rapids. Those up for the challenge can plan their excursion around huge water releases from the dam.

The Middle Fork of the Salmon River offers some of the best white water rafting in Idaho

The Middle Fork of the Salmon River offers a classic white water rafting experience. Gauley River in West Virginia

A group of rafters in the rapids on the Gauley River

For white water rafting in West Virginia, nothing beats the Gauley River

Choose your own adventure on the Gauley River. There are two sections: the Lower Gauley with Class II to IV rapids (great for rafters with some experience under their belt) and the Upper Gauley with five Class V rapids (leave this for the experts). No two runs are the same, but you can always expect to have a raucous time tumbling and crashing through the waves. Rafting season at Gauley River National Recreation Area begins Labor Day weekend and continues for the subsequent six weekends.

Rocks and boulders have been placed strategically in the water to create rapids where visitors can fine tune their maneuvering skills.
