THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY

THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY. AVOID. My Wife and I booked tickets with them to India and were then told that we need to add middle names or Air India wont let us board. They forced us to pay us to pay an extra £293.78 and kept threatening that they will not help if Air India declines to let us board our flight. At the Air Port, we asked Air India if our original booking was sufficient and they said YES, no name changes were needed or even done by the Travel Agents. Take my advice, DO NOT BOOK WITH FLIGHT CATCHERS or POLANI TRAVEL!

They illegally took 582 from my account…

They illegally took 582 pounds from my account in March and up to now haven't paid it back. Don't deposit money in their Barclays bank account. Barclays bank told me it's buyer seller dispute yet I been scammed by these heartless people. If they are disputing this review they need to call me 07306 402528

I wish I had read reviews of this company before I booked. I had to cancel a flight due to illness. The cancellation was processed. You have to keep asking them if they have received the refund which they claim takes 6 weeks. They then tell you it will take 10 days before you receive the refund. After waiting 3 weeks I am still chasing them . They now tell me my refund will be a priority which tells me that it has still not been processed after 3 weeks. Definitely a company to avoid.

They are actually very good

I was mortified when looking at the reviews after purchase but I just recently got a £500 flight using Etihad airways from Manchester to Jakarta which was £300 less than any other agency. I had no issues whatsoever and the flight was great in comparison to other flights I have been on, saved myself £300 and had a better experience than I’ve ever had before. I was confused about the process but they responded in less than a day to help my query. It seems that you will only have an issue if you need to rearrange which is not the agencies fault in my opinion.

I just read all the reviews, shocking and heart breaking, ive just rang them and will have fun with them 😂😂😂😂 Going to book tickets without even making a payment to them, going to mess their minds in a twist and I’m doing this for all them dear folks who got scammed by them, weirdly enough they answered the call and said they will call me back once a booking agent is free, i must admit the guy became suspicious when talking to me, unfortunately my voice sounded deep and rough

So disappointed with this agency and…

So disappointed with this agency and wonder there are a genuine agency.I booked to travel on the 30th of August returning on the 7th of September but polani booked 7 November as my returning date.I quickly told them the mistake and they said they will deduct £250 from £889.60 just to cancel. Later they cancelled the flight and gave me only £71 from 889.60. I am truly disgusted . No one should use them they are living thieves

PolaniTravels harassing customers

PolaniTravels operates as a "flightcatcher.com" for international flight bookings. I booked my tickets for London Kolkata to Kolkata London Flight reference number: PG 9C86B3 After coming to India I had a serous medical emergency and I furnished the certificate from the hospital and the company refused to cancel the return ticket and asked for rescheduling the ticket immediately. The charges they demanded for the rescheduling of the ticket is a way higher than the price of the new ticket. I request the UK government to look into the companies who are harassing gullible customers. Warm regards Proma Das

1 star is overly generous!

If 0 stars was an option then I definitely would have given them 0 stars as I feel giving them 1 star is overly generous. My flight back in 2021 got cancelled due to the country I was travelling from got put on the red list. Now since then I have been ringing and emailing them to receive my refund and all they kept saying was that we have not received a refund from the Airline and when we do we will give you the refund. 2 years have gone by and I have received nothing. Last year when I emailed them they had asked to confirm whether I wanted the refund or not which I did and they said within 6 months I would receive the refund. 12 months have gone by and I have received nothing. I emailed them recently and received a response today and was told that they have not received any request despite me having the refund request in black and white in front of me. Beware of this company, as it is a fraudulent company and is out there to leach on other peoples money!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...THEY ARE DISHONEST AND FRAUDULENT...WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING MY TICKET. This is the worst travel agency I have ever used. Will never ever use them again. PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THEM. They say they record all conversations and even had the cheek to delete or withdraw emails they had committed to refunding the full amount I paid and did not. I received £51.00 back from the £823.59 unbelievable. I got an email saying that I received £721.00, when I called to say it is not in my bank yet, the message got deleted by them (as if I had imagined it), and the phone conversation took an entirely different turn saying that I was only getting £51.00 as a return when my full amount was promised and was scammed into buying another ticket, saying that I would get a refund on the ticket purchased earlier, and I did that trusting them without a thought. It was a hoax and a fraud. I am still waiting to hear about the full refund and will take it up with my bank and solicitors. Losing £800 is not a joke!! Thelma M Sequeira

These people are scammers , I am really disappointed with myself for giving these people my hard earned cash , this flight was booked well in advance as a treat for my daughter who’s getting married in December, yet these heartless individuals are trying to scam us out of more money , never again will I use them , I am looking into reporting them to the relevant authorities. Please don’t ever use them .

100% out to rip you off - DO NOT USE!!!!

I have booked many flights over the years via skyscanner and particularly using Turkish Airlines. This is the first time I've ever used these scamming lowlifes who also trade as flightcatchers. Their reviews speak for themselves. Within a few minutes of booking my flights with them late on a Sunday night, I was being called by them (another first when booking with Skyscanner) to tell me that I hadn't booked any baggage. This was not clear - I have flown with Turkish Airlines many times and there has always been a 23Kg baggage allowance. It is so obvious that it is deliberately not clear that there is no baggage allowance, otherwise why else would someone with a strong Indian accent call you minutes after booking to try and charge an over inflated extra £87 per passenger for luggage? Sadly I will also be leaving a poor reviews for both Skyscanner and Turkish Airlines to bring their attention to the practices of these scammers and for allowing them to use their platforms and good names to rip people off. Companies like this and those who work for them, deserve to be out of a job.

I am absolutely disgusted with this…

I am absolutely disgusted with this company, I booked flights and made an error and contacted them within 5 minutes to cancel it and rebook only to be told l would lose 100% of the cost if l did. The only solution l was given was to pay £156 on top of the £295 l had literally just paid to rectify it. I’m sure there is a cooling off period permitted by law with this?? I then realised about a week later the date was wrong on the booking and tried to cancel the flight it concerned as I had already paid £414 so wanted to book another flight myself but they said if l did that l would lose my return flight too as it came as package. I argued for 24 hours about this and was quoted to pay another £386 obviously l wasn’t happy and by the time we agreed to pay, Polani then said the only seats left were premium so the price had to gone up and l had to pay another £536 to get to Turkey. So in all I’ve had to pay over £1000 to correct two mistakes which in my mind is horrendous, you can’t cancel because you lose 100% of your money yet they give you details about a cancellation policy which they don’t even have, scandalous. I was informed by email Polani didn’t actually have a price for a new ticket until it was issued from the airline but the difference was paid to them regardless of whether it was £50 of £200 so the figures I’ve paid l have no idea how they got them but l feel like I’ve been ripped off and l would stay well clear from booking with these!!

I am absolutely disgusted with this company, I booked flights and made an error and contacted them within 5 minutes to cancel it and rebook only to be told l would lose 100% of the cost if l did. The only solution l was given was to pay £156 on top of the £295 l had literally just paid to rectify it. I’m sure there is a cooling off period permitted by law with this?? I then realised about a week later the date was wrong on the booking and tried to cancel the flight it concerned as I had already paid £414 so wanted to book another flight myself but they said if l did that l would lose my return flight too as it came as package. I argued for 24 hours about this and was quoted to pay another £386 obviously l wasn’t happy and by the time we agreed to pay, Polani then said the only seats left were premium so the price had to gone up and l had to pay another £536 to get to Turkey. So in all I’ve had to pay over £1000 to correct two mistakes which in my mind is horrendous, you can’t cancel because you lose 100% of your money yet they give you details about a cancellation policy which they don’t even have, scandalous. I was informed by email Polani didn’t actually have a price for a new ticket until it was issued from the airline but the difference was paid to them regardless of whether it was £50 of £200 so the figures I’ve paid l have no idea how they got them but l feel like I’ve been ripped off and l would stay well clear from booking with these!!
