WAIT FOR IT !!!........... LIL WAYNE cancelled just hours before the show (rolling my eyes) so needless to say happy we showed up at 9pm because instead of lil wayne the fans were entertained by music mashups of rock and rap (crappy mix ups by the way) and music by the backstreet boys or n sync not sure which boy band it was but i was super annoyed when i heard the near sold out crowd singing along of "i want it that way" really crappy song but all these idiots were singing along like it was 6th grade but on to the positive blink 182 put on a great set for a whole 60 minutes yep 1 hour started at 9:30 was done by 10:30 great set pyro, smoke, cool video stage set up NO TOM DELONGE some new guy not his fault he played great but it wasnt teb same he didnt really sound like TOM so it was like blink 182 karaoke for some of the songs and the short set time I mean shit lil wayne doesnt show these guys could have saved the day and played longer but in typical rock star fashion they charged full price for tickets delivered half of a show and a short set disapointed much ? YEAH I WAS hate to say it but I mean it wasnt a 20 dollar ticket here tickets were not cheap but the amount of entertainment vs the amount paid for the ticket was not EQUAL felt pretty ripped off as a whole save your money this go round NOT WORTH THE CASH plus we drove 4 hours to go to this show so a few hundred dollars later we got and hour of a headliner entertainment hell KISS are 70 years old and played for 2 and a half hours the tickets were pricey but hell they were showmen and lots of fire, pyro, smoke, fireworks, ect stunts elevating risers ect so you tell me if its worth it to go see 40 year old entitled punks vs 70 year old vets who are doing a cash grab no doubt but are still delivering an experirience

Show exceeded expectations and was THRILLED we didn't have to listen to Lil Wayne - bonus. Thanks to St. Louis for helping to move him on his way to the next venue. Loved hearing Enema of the State in its entirety. Wish they had included Always but the other added songs were great as well. I thought Matt sounded great and thoroughly enjoyed a couple of the songs from California and NINE. Sad no encore but had a total blast singing along and dancing. Super charged stage show and Travis' drum solo was amazing but never long enough for me! (I'm sure plenty long for him - what a work out!) Neck Deep also put on a great performance. They are a GREAT opening act for Bink. Thanks for the show - and long lasting memories.
Blink 182 has been my favorite band as a kid back in ‘96 when I first heard of them and will always be. I finally got to see them live for the first tine ever in 2016, 20 years later because they came close to my hometown in Greenville, SC. Then about 3 months later to my actual hometown in Charleston, SC. I was close to the middle up front and had the time of my life. I thank the whole band for making one person’s dream come true just to see you live. I’ve always wanted to meet Mark and Travis!! I was so like it’s cool when Mark tried to throw me a pick but it landed short and he apologized and he Ent on with the show. But my heart filled up with joy when, in my opinion, the greatest drummer in the whole universe, Travis Barker!!!!, acknowledged me when I gave him a thumbs up. Wish I could meet and talk to then!! A dream for a lifetime. Blink 182 you will always be number 1 to me and hold a special place in my heart as you do to millions of fans!! Love you all and can’t wait for the bext album!! Including Mark’s new band aka The Side Piece. Mark if you ever read this’ please don’t take offense to the comment. Blink 4 Life!! Peace...

Blink-182 have announced their biggest ever tour, with Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker reuniting for the first time in almost 10 years.
The colossal globetrotting tour will arrive in Australia and New Zealand in February 2024. Beginning in Perth on February 9th, the trio will then visit Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, before heading to Aotearoa for shows in Auckland and Christchurch (see full dates below).
The iconic pop-punk band have also confirmed stellar supporting artists for each leg of the world tour, with acclaimed punk rockers Rise Against set to back them up in Australia and New Zealand.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, October 20th at 1pm local time. The blink-182 fan club pre-sale begins on Thursday, October 13th at 12pm local time, running until Wednesday, October 19th at 12pm local time.
Both the Live Nation and Spotify pre-sales then commence on Wednesday, October 19th at 1pm local time, concluding on Thursday, October 20th at 12pm local time.
After forming 30 years ago, blink-182 have become one of the most beloved rock bands to emerge from the US. As The New York Times once wrote, “no punk band of the 1990s has been more influential than blink-182.”
And with DeLonge back on guitar duties for the first time since 2015, the “classic” blink-182 lineup should ensure tickets for the forthcoming tour sell out quickly. The band are also set to share their new single “Edging” this Friday, October 14th, marking the first time in a decade that Hoppus, DeLonge, and Barker have worked in the studio together.

Blink-182 Australian Tour Setlist Revealed
The live debuts, classics, and more - Australian blink-182 fans will be served on this tour.
blink-182 (Credit: Jack Bridgland)
It’s an exciting day for blink-182 fans, as the beloved American pop-punk trio have played their first show of their Australian tour at Perth’s RAC Arena and still have 14 more concerts to go.
The first of 15 shows was a raging success, with The Music reviewer Michael Hollick declaring, “blink-182’s performance was a time capsule, providing both longtime and newer fans a chance to relive the days when baggy jeans, chains, and dyed spikes were the epitome of cool. The band may have grown older, but their music remains forever young.”
You can read the review here .
Blink-182 were joined by special guests Rise Against , who riled up the crowd with their political punk rock tunes, playing classics including Prayer Of The Refugee, Savior and Swing Life Away .
If you’re up to this point reading this article and decide that spoilers aren’t for you after all, look away, as we’re about to get into blink-182’s Perth setlist .
When singer and bassist Mark Hoppus arrived in Perth a few days ago, he teased , “We got new songs that we are playing for the first time in Perth. The first live performances of these songs will be in your city and a lot of bad words probably.” And he kept his promise.

The band played a massive 27-song setlist, which included seven tracks from their latest LP, One More Time… , with Australian fans being treated to the live debuts of Fuck Face, Turpentine and Anthem Pt 3 (the latter played in full for the first time). The remainder of their set was a balance of their hit albums, with the pop-punk trio playing five tracks each from their self-titled album, Enema Of The State and Take Off Your Pants And Jacket .
Only one song from the records Dude Ranch, California and Neighborhoods were performed, with two from The Mark, Tom, And Travis Show ( The Enema Strikes Back! ). You can find the complete setlist below.

Here’s blink-182’s setlist from their first Australian tour in over 10 years
blink-182 hit Perth last night (February 8) for their first Aussie show in a looooong while, and they gave some ONE MORE TIME… bangers their live debuts.
Last night (February 8), blink-182 launched their first Australian tour in over a decade.
The pop-punk legends made their return down under by kicking things off at Perth’s RAC Arena, having last played in the country for travelling fest Soundwave back in 2013 (however that live line-up consisted of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and drummer Brooks Wackerman, as Travis Barker hadn’t yet overcome his fear of flying and therefore had to miss that tour).
And the trio gave their waiting Aussie fans plenty of treats – from classic singles like The Rock Show, Feeling This and I Miss You through to a couple of live debuts from last year’s brilliant ONE MORE TIME… album: blink played FUCK FACE and TURPENTINE for the first time ever, and ANTHEM PART 3 for the first time in full.
They’ve another Perth show tonight, before gigs in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and then blink will cross over to New Zealand to perform in Auckland and Christchurch.

blink-182 add final dates to sold out Australian tour
- X (formerly Twitter)
A fifth and final Melbourne date has been added to blink-182 's blockbuster Australian tour.
The band will round out their visit Down Under with a performance at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena the last week of February.
That brings the total number of Aussie dates for this tour to 15: all of them in arenas, all of them sold out except one remaining Sydney show and this new Melbourne date.
You'll want to be quick getting tickets, they're on sale from 12pm Monday 19 June. Full dates are below.
The first Australian blink-182 tour (with the classic lineup) in almost a decade has been fleshed out with even more extra tour dates.
The announcement of the initial dates for February 2024 was met with huge response from fans. Earlier this week, a new round of shows were announced to meet demand and already, they have sold out!
So, for everyone who missed the original round of tickets and then the extra shows, fear not! Four extra shows have been put on the list.
The complete and updated list of Australian tour dates can be found at the end of this article.
Tickets for the new shows are on sale from 12pm local time via Live Nation .
For the first time in almost a decade, the classic line-up of Mark, Tom, and Travis are together again
The rumours have swirled for a long time, but it's now a reality. After almost ten years away from the band he formed, Tom DeLonge has re-joined blink-182 .
To celebrate, the band – which is now back to its classic formation of Mark Hoppus , Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker – have locked in a staggeringly huge world tour, which includes some big arena shows for Australia in early 2024.
Blink are not coming alone, either. Joining them are hugly popular Chicagoan rockers Rise Against , making this one hell of a double bill.
All the dates and ticketing info is at the bottom of the article.
DeLonge left blink-182 in 2015, at which point Alkaline Trio frontman Matt Skiba joined the band. His return to the fold has been rumoured for some time, most recently in August of this year after he posted a photo of the band to Instagram.
It's been 30 years since Hoppus and DeLonge formed blink-182 and almost 25 years since Barker joined them, which coincided with the band breaking through to become mainstream punk rock darlings.
While the 90s was rife with influential punk bands, few can attest to having the same enduring influence that Blink continue to have today. Records like 1999's Enema Of The State , 2001's Take Off Your Pants and Jacket , and 2003's self-titled album are key records in the history of pop-punk.
Since the very start, Australia has had an affinity with this band. Those who witnessed their first tour here in the mid-90s still marvel at how good those shows were, while each subsequent visit saw them play to bigger and bigger crowds.
The band's last Australian shows were as part of the 2013 Soundwave festival, though drummer Travis Barker did not make the trip on that occasion due to a fear of flying stemming from a fatal 2008 air crash he survived.
Barker is back flying and will be a part of the band for the forthcoming shows.
It's been a big year or so for the band. On top of the reunion, and Barker's progress with flying, Mark Hoppus was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2021 before being declared cancer free towards the end of last year.
On top of the tour news, blink-182 have promised us some brand-new music, with their new single 'Edging' set to land this Friday.
The band announced their return with a video that can only be described as "very blink-182".
If you're allergic to double entendres and juvenile humour, then we're not sure why you're reading an article about blink-182, and you should probably skip the below video.

Blink-182 add more shows to 2024 Australian tour
The band, who have reunited with founding member Tom DeLonge, will tour Australia and New Zealand in February 2024
Blink-182 have added more shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane to the band’s forthcoming Australian tour in February 2024.
The Australian and New Zealand run will take place as part of the band’s upcoming world tour, following the news that founding member Tom DeLonge has rejoined the band after a seven-year absence.
The band, who will be joined by special guests Rise Against for the run, will now play extra shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on February 14, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on February 17 and Brisbane Entertainment Centre on February 20.
The new dates are in addition to already-announced shows in all three cities, plus concerts in Perth, Adelaide, Auckland and Christchurch. Tickets for all shows will go on sale this Thursday (October 20) at 1pm local time, with a pre-sale kicking off tomorrow.
Blink-182 announced last week that DeLonge had rejoined the band following his departure in 2015, alongside news of a world tour and that a new album was on the way. On Friday (October 14), they shared new single ‘Edging’ , the first to feature DeLonge in a decade. Over the weekend, DeLonge elaborated on the forthcoming album , promising it contains “some of the most progressive, and elevated music [we’ve] ever had”.
During DeLonge’s absence, his role was filled by Matt Skiba. The Alkaline Trio frontman recorded two albums with the band – 2016’s ‘California’ and 2019’s ‘Nine’ – playing guitar and sharing lead vocal duties with Mark Hoppus.
Last week, DeLonge shared a message he sent to Skiba , thanking him for his work with the band. “To be honest, the band would not even be here today if it were not for your ability to jump in and save the day,” DeLonge wrote. “From my heart to yours, thank you for being a member of our band.”
Recommended
Skiba has since responded with an Instagram post , in which he congratulated DeLonge and the band for their reunion. “I am truly grateful for my time with Blink and I am truly happy you guys are a band and a family again,” he wrote.

Blink-182 – Mark, Tom and Travis – Announce 2024 Australian Tour
By August Billy
The members of the classic Blink-182 lineup are getting their kits off and hitting the road together. The trio of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker will begin a global reunion tour in March 2023 with shows in Latin America. They’ll kick off a couple of months’ worth of North American shows in May before hitting Europe next September.
The Mark, Tom and Travis show will make its way to Australia and New Zealand in February 2024, joined by special guests Rise Against . The tour includes arena shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, as well as Auckland and Christchurch.
Blink-182 to return to Australia for the first time in 11 years
UPDATE 18/10/22: More dates added to Blink-182’s 2024 Australian tour to meet demand. Listen to new single ‘Edging’
UPDATE 21/10/22: Four more shows added after all other dates sell out
UPDATE 26/10/22: Fourth shows announced for Sydney and Melbourne
According to a promo video announcing the tour, ‘Edging’ is the first taste of a new album from Hoppus, DeLonge and Barker. DeLonge, the band’s founding guitarist and co-lead vocalist, parted ways with his band mates, bass player/vocalist Hoppus and drummer Barker, in 2015. He was replaced by Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio on guitar and vocals.
Blink-182 have released two albums since DeLonge’s departure: 2016’s California and 2019’s Nine . The forthcoming album will be the band’s tenth overall (as long as you regard 1994’s Buddha as their debut). Hoppus, DeLonge and Barker began working together ahead of 1999’s Enema of the State , which remains the band’s commercial apex.
Tickets for Blink-182’s 2024 Australian tour go on sale at 1pm on Thursday, 20th October through livenation.com.au . Live Nation and Spotify pre-sales run from 1pm on Wednesday, 19th October until 12pm on Thursday, 2oth.

Blink-182 Cancels 3 Mexico City Shows ‘Due to Illness'
Blink-182 fans in Mexico held on to hope that the rock band's bassist, Mark Hoppus, could overcome his health problems and perform the concerts scheduled for this weekend in the capital city. However, the medical diagnosis said otherwise and the cancellation was inevitable: Out of a total of four performances, they were only able to offer one.
"Dear fans, sadly, Blink-182 shows on April 5 and 6 at Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City have been cancelled due to illness," said promoter Ocesa in a statement on Friday (April 5), two days after the trio also comprised by Tom DeLonge (vocals and guitar) and Travis Barker (drums), had already canceled one performance after offering an energetic show the previous night (April 2) at the same venue, which represented their long-awaited return to the country after a 20-year absence.
"We don't take canceling lightly. We know people booked flights, hotels, made plans, got babysitters… We had multiple lengthy discussions all morning within the band, with promoters, managers. We tried moving the date, tried every possible solution, but this is the reality. We appreciate your understanding and support," Hoppus wrote on his Discord account on Wednesday.
"For me and my illness, I have seen a doctor here and talked to my doctor back home. I am on multiple medications and have been in bed the past three days except to go to the show, and yesterday I was hoping it was just allergies… Saw docs, was told I had an acute infection in my throat and severe bronchitis. Got on meds immediately with the kind help of the local promoters and have been on treatment," added the bassist, who fought a battle with cancer in 2021.
Promoter Ocesa said in a statement on Friday that refunds will be issued to ticket-holders of the cancelled shows. They said that for users who bought tickets online the refund will automatically be refunded on the card with which the purchase was made. If the purchase was made at the box office or Ticketmaster centers, refunds can be requested starting Monday (April 8) at the place of purchase.
In mid-2021, Hoppus revealed that he had been diagnosed with lymphoma. Months later, he declared on Instagram that he was "cancer free". Last weekend, Blink-182 performed at the 2024 Pa'l Norte Festival held in Monterrey, Mexico, in front of an audience of 85,000 in a moment that Hoppus shared on the same social network.

Blink-182 Cancels Two More Of The Band’s Mexico City Shows Reportedly Due To An Ongoing Medical Illness
Since reuniting at Coachella 2023 , fans of Blink-182 have been itching to catch the band live. Supporters’ wish became a reality when the “ Dance With Me ” musicians announced their One More Time Tour . Unfortunately, the stops in Mexico City haven’t gone down as planned.
Yesterday (April 5), the promoter of the group’s shows in the country revealed that Blink-182’s remaining concerts in the area would not take place. “Dear fans, sadly, Blink-182 shows on April 5 and 6 at Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City have been canceled due to illness,” wrote the promoter Ocesa.

The organizer did not provide specifics about the undisclosed alignment. But fans have begun to offer their prayers for the group’s bassist, Mark Hoppus. According to Billboard , Hoppus had been treated for an acute throat infection and severe bronchitis earlier in the month. In 2021, Hoppus was diagnosed with cancer and subsequently underwent chemotherapy . Of the four booked concerts (April 2 through 3 and 5 through 6), only one show was held (April 2).
On April 3, Hoppus allegedly took to the group’s Discord channel to issue a statement. “We don’t take canceling lightly. We know people booked flights and hotels, made plans, and got babysitters,” he wrote. “We had multiple lengthy discussions all morning within the band with promoters and managers. We tried moving the date and tried every possible solution, but this is the reality. We appreciate your understanding and support.”

Ticketholders will receive a refund at the point of purchase being on April 8.
