It's safe to say that Taylor Swift 's Eras Tour has well and truly surpassed every single expectation we had. The Eras Tour officially opened its doors in Glendale, Arizona on March 17th where Taylor performed songs from all 10 of her albums.

Since then, Taylor has released her eleventh album, ' The Tortured Poets Department ', and has now added seven of those songs to the setlist too. But what songs have been cut to make room for the new tracks?

On May 9th in Paris, France, Taylor changed the entire Eras Tour setlist as fans know it. Popular songs have now been removed and the eras section order has been moved around.

Here's all the songs in Taylor's Eras Tour setlist, including every song featured in the show, how many songs she plays, every single surprise song and all the 'The Tortured Poets Department' tracks that have been added to the setlist.

What songs are on Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour setlist?

How many songs does Taylor Swift play on the Eras Tour setlist?

The average Taylor Swift concert used to be around 2 hours long but The Eras Tour is a whole different beast... The concert is a whopping 3 hours and 15 minutes long, and Taylor performs a huge 45 tracks within that timeframe.

Not all the tracks are performed in full – some are shortened versions. There's also a couple of additional little interludes that pop up throughout the show.

For context, on the Rep tour, Taylor performed 19 tracks in total, including several mashups that featured some of her older songs. For The 1989 World Tour, she performed 18 songs, while 17 songs were performed on The Red Tour and the Speak Now World Tour.

Taylor Swift New Eras Tour setlist: What songs does Taylor Swift perform on the Eras Tour?

Taylor now only has two more legs of the Eras Tour to complete: Europe and the second U.S. and Canada leg. International fans heading to the shows in 2024 thought they had a pretty solid idea of what to expect, but she has now turned everything on its head with a brand new setlist and a new ' The Tortured Poets Department ' section.

The Eras Tour set list features a mix of her highest charting songs, lead singles, fan favourites, outright bangers and tracks that stand out as milestones in her incredible career so far.

On March 31st, during her show in Arlington, TX, Taylor confirmed that the setlist will have some changes as the tour goes on. We now know that the entire setlist has changed. On May 9th 2024 in Paris, Taylor changed the order of the setlist and removed a handful of songs. Seven 'Tortured Poets Department' songs were also added.

The Eras sections now go in this order: 'Lover', 'Fearless', 'Red', 'Speak Now', 'Reputation', 'Folklore and Evermore' (now combined), '1989', 'The Tortured Poets Department', Surprise Songs and 'Midnights'.

All Eras Tour setlist changes and updates so far:

Six songs have now been permanently removed from the Eras Tour setlist: 'The Archer', 'Long Live', 'The 1', 'The Last Great American Dynasty', 'Tis The Damn Season' and 'Tolerate It'.

The 'Folklore' and 'Evermore' sections have now been combined in the setlist, as they are 'sister' albums.

Seven songs from 'The Tortured Poets Department' have now been added .

• On March 31st 2023, 'Invisible string' was replaced by 'the 1'. Both songs have now been removed.
• On July 7th and 8th, Taylor performed 'Long Live' after 'Enchanted'. The song remained on the setlist until May 2024, when it was removed.
• On July 22nd, Taylor replaced 'tis the damn season' so she could perform 'No Body, No Crime' with HAIM. 'Tis the damn season' returned to the main setlist on August 24th in Mexico City, before being removed in May 2024.
• For all the shows where Phoebe Bridgers appeared as a support act, Taylor performed 'Nothing New' with her during the Red (TV) section.
• On May 26th and May 27th 2023, Ice Spice joined Taylor on stage to perform 'Karma'.

As of June 27th 2024, there is still no section on the tour dedicated to her debut album, 'Taylor Swift ' .

What surprise songs has Taylor Swift performed?

Much like her other tours, Taylor performs two surprise songs for each show. In 2023, Taylor played an additional 124 songs from her own discography. (Plus one of Gracie Abrams' own songs.)

The list has been reset for the 2024 shows, and Taylor has now introduced mashups.

Taylor has 'reset' the surprise song list, which means anyone attending a show in 2024 can anticipate hearing a song she's already performed. She previously stated that she will only play each surprise song once during the tour, unless she messes one up.

There's also no rules for Taylor repeating songs from Midnights as surprise songs, which means fans may get to hear the likes of 'You're On Your Own Kid' and 'Snow on the Beach' again at some point in the future.

Will Taylor Swift change the Eras Tour setlist?

Aside from a few song changes, the Eras Tour setlist remained the same throughout the 2023 shows and every show up until the release of 'The Tortured Poets Department'. During the first Paris show in May 2024, Taylor changed the order of the setlist, removed six songs and added seven new ones from 'TTPD'.

Fans attending the European shows might end up hearing Taylor perform ' Castles Crumbling ' with Hayley Williams at some point, as Paramore will be supporting her throughout those tour dates. Unlike Phoebe Bridgers and HAIM, who joined Taylor on stage to perform 'Nothing New' and 'No Body, No Crime' respectively on the nights they were support acts, a 'Castles Crumbling' duet might be more likely to appear as a surprise song.

Taylor will finish her European leg in London in August 2024, before returning to North America in November 2024. It's possible that she may make more changes to the final leg of the show.

What are Taylor's most performed songs on tour?

Before she embarked on The Eras Tour, Taylor’s top 3 most performed songs are ‘Love Story’ (491 times), ‘Our Song’ (404 times) and ‘You Belong With Me’ (381 times).

Of course, almost all of Taylor’s most performed songs are from her first two albums. As the list goes on, the 'Speak Now' bops, 'Red' bangers and '1989' hits start to weave their way in.

Taylor Swift has a lot of catching up to do with fans. That’s probably why the setlists for her Eras Tour have been so expansive.

Swift has not hit the road since 2018’s Reputation Stadium Tour, and she’s released multiple albums since then.

Taylor Swift brought her Eras Tour – which, so far, has seen arguably the biggest pop star on the planet playing to sold-out crowds on a trek that’s on track to net at least $590 million in ticket sales – to East Rutherford, New Jersey for a second night on Saturday (May 27).

Aside from the hoops everyone at MetLife Stadium went through to be present (Swift’s tour ticket sales proved too much for Ticketmaster to handle, a situation that escalated to the U.S. Congress), people showed up with fairly high expectations for the evening. After all, the previous night’s Eras Tour stop in Jersey saw a surprise appearance from Ice Spice on their newly released “Karma” remix; Jack Antonoff joined his frequent collaborator for “Getaway Car” on one of two surprise songs; and Swift debuted three flashy new outfits.

So on Saturday, the crowd was prepared for a show . And after a three-and-a-half-hour tour through the catalog of one of the 21st century’s biggest artists – one whose discography has shown a lyrical breadth and growth that few of her peers can lay claim to – attendees were more than satisfied, if not ecstatic, after night two of the MetLife dates.

It didn’t hurt that Ice Spice made her second consecutive appearance on the tour for the show-ending “Karma,” a sly pop bop that afforded the Bronx-based rapper the opportunity to flex in front of a 74,000-strong crowd of New York and New Jersey folks following the breakout success of “Munch (Feelin’ U)” and the Nicki Minaj collab “Princess Diana.”

Here are the seven best moments of Taylor Swift’s second night at MetLife Stadium.

Swiftie Appreciation Day

Early in the show, Swift acknowledged that the crowd – an audience three-times larger than the capacity at a venue like Madison Square Garden across the river — was an achievement. “New Jersey, I’m not gonna lie to you, you’re making me feel phenomenal,” Swift said. “There are a trillion things you could do this evening…. Correct me if I’m wrong and scream if I’m right: You went to a lot of effort to be here with us.” Unsurprisingly, there were no corrections forthcoming.

'Tis the Dusk Season

For a show of the caliber of the Eras Tour, it’s not always easy to tell which magical moments are meticulously plotted and which ones simply fall into place. But on Saturday night, the rotation of the earth dovetailed nicely with the show. As dusk fell and pine trees emerged from the bottom of the stage (conifers that almost seemed lifted from the experiential theater Sleep No More in NYC), Swift began singing “’Tis the Damn Season” while golden hues drenched the stage against the evening twilight.

Fans Invoke Villainous Behavior

During the Reputation segment of the evening – an era that found Swift exploring and embracing some of the inevitable cracks in the façade of perfection – a few fans took it upon themselves to play the bad guy role. A trio of Swifties invaded a couple’s floor seats when they left their chairs for a moment, and when gently questioned, they merely offered, “It’s our favorite song” before “…Ready for It” was performed. Well, that’s one way to celebrate Swift’s so-called villain era. (Most Swifties, it should be said, were excessively friendly and considerate during the show.)

Farewell to Phoebe

While opening act Phoebe Bridgers had one night left to go on the Eras Tour, Swift was already mourning the impending loss of one of her “favorite artists” on Saturday. Saying it was “devastating” that Bridgers had to leave the Eras Tour after the Jersey dates, a grateful Swift told the boygenius member she was “soaking up every single second of getting to play with you.” The two seemed especially attuned to each other while duetting, guitars in hand, on “Nothing New.”

Surprise Song #1

Swift has said that during the surprise song segments on each stop of the Eras Tour, she intends to perform songs that hadn’t previously appeared on the tour’s setlist — and never repeat a tune. Given the perimeters, speculation is pretty high each night of the tour, so after Taylor announced she would be playing “One of my favorites…. I feel like it’s a pretty good choice for tonight,” the crowd all but melted when she began playing beloved Red deep cut “Holy Ground.”

Surprise Song #2

Moving to the upright piano after “Holy Ground,” Swift gave one Lover track its first-ever tour moment in the spotlight: “False God,” her saxophone-assisted exploration of religion and sex, which helped set up the final portion of the night as Swift transitioned into Midnights . When she reached the lyric, “Staring out the window like I’m not your favorite town / I’m New York City,” the crowd naturally sang/screamed along even louder than usual.

Spice Is Twice As Nice

Twenty-four hours after Ice Spice helped Taylor give the “Karma” remix its live debut at MetLife Stadium, the Bronx rapper returned to the massive New Jersey venue to once again deliver her smooth, confident verse on the collab. Anyone thinking lightning couldn’t strike twice in the same spot was in for a rude awakening on Saturday — Spice and Swift slayed just as hard the second time.

It's the biggest concert event of the year, and it's finally here. Taylor Swift and The Eras Tour hit MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey for her "New York City area shows" over Memorial Day Weekend 2023 (that's May 27, 28, and 29).

Your Complete Guide to the Eras Tour Set List — Including the Changes For the Movie

The first leg of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour ended this August, but fans get to relive the magic of the show thanks to the Eras Tour film . In the movie, released Oct. 13 in theaters worldwide, fans can experience Swift's live show on the big screen (and tickets are a lot cheaper).

During the tour, which started back in March, Swift has sampled songs from throughout her career. While fans always knew her set list was never going to be able to include the entirety of her vast catalog, the musician did her best to give fans a song from almost every one of her eras (only her debut album, "Taylor Swift," didn't get its own official section of the set list). And before wrapping up her first set of US dates, Swift revealed the imminent arrival of "1989 (Taylor's Version)," which will be released Oct. 27.

And if the Swifties in your life seem a little intense about deciphering clues in the set list and Swift's tour outfits, you can't blame them. The Grammy winner has a proven record of dropping clues for her fans to find. For example, on Aug. 9 she debuted new blue versions of her Eras Tour costumes to celebrate the "1989 (Taylor's Version)" reveal at the end of the show. And earlier in the tour, Swift removed "Invisible String" — which is believed to be about boyfriend Joe Alwyn — from her set list days before news broke that the pair had split .

As you head to the Eras Tour film (or look forward to tour dates to come in late 2023 and 2024), we've rounded up every track she's performed during the Eras Tour so far, organized by album. That includes surprise songs and special guests like Phoebe Bridgers , Ice Spice, HAIM, and Maren Morris. Taylor Swift Eras Tour Debut Album Set List

Swift hasn't been playing any songs from her self-titled debut consistently, but she brought out "Tim McGraw" on March 17 in Glendale and "Our Song" on March 24 in Las Vegas as acoustic surprises. On April 22, she surprised Houston fans by playing "A Place in This World," and the following night she performed "Cold as You." She also played "Teardrops on My Guitar" in Nashville on May 5.

On May 19, Swift played "Should've Said No" from her debut album in Foxborough, MA. The following night, she performed another song from her debut, "Invisible." On June 30 in Cincinnati, she performed "I'm Only Me When I'm With You." On July 14 in Denver, she sang "Picture to Burn." During the July 24 show in Seattle, she performed "Tied Together With a Smile." On Aug. 4, she once again played "Our Song."

Taylor Swift Eras Tour "Fearless" Set List

Swift's set list includes three songs from her "Fearless" era: "You Belong With Me," "Love Story," and "Fearless."

She also surprised fans with "Jump Then Fall" at her April 2 show in Arlington, TX, and "You're Not Sorry" at her April 21 performance in Houston. On April 28, she wowed fans in Atlanta with a rendition of "The Other Side of the Door," and on May 5 she graced Nashville fans with "Fifteen."

Swift took a special request from her friend Lena on May 13 and played "Forever & Always" for her Philadelphia fans. Also in Philadelphia, on May 14, the Grammy winner performed "Hey Stephen" for the crowd, before honoring her mom for Mother's Day by breaking out "The Best Day."

On June 3, she brought special guest Maren Morris on stage to perform "You All Over Me." On June 10, she performed "Breathe." Vault track "Mr. Perfectly Fine" made its live debut on June 16, and Swift sang "If This Was a Movie" on June 23. On Aug. 25, she performed "Tell Me Why."

Taylor Swift Eras Tour "Speak Now" Set List

Swift has consistently played one song from "Speak Now" at all of her shows — "Enchanted."

She also added the song "Ours" at her March 31 tour stop in Arlington, TX, and performed the titular song from the album during her April 13 performance in Tampa, FL. She went on to play "Mean" on April 15, also in Tampa. She also played "Sparks Fly" and "Mine" at her May 5 and May 7 shows in Nashville. She then sang "Haunted" on June 9, "The Story of Us" on June 17, and "Dear John" on June 24.

On July 7 and 8 in Kansas City, Swift celebrated the release of "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" by adding "Long Live" to the "Speak Now" portion of the set list, and it seems to be a permanent addition to the concert. For the surprise songs on July 7, Swift sang "Never Grow Up" and "When Emma Falls in Love." Then on July 8, she performed "Last Kiss."

On July 14 in Denver, Swift performed the vault track "Timeless," and the next night she performed "Back to December." On July 28, she sang the vault song "Castles Crumbling," and on Aug. 3, she performed another song from the vault, "I Can See You."

Taylor Swift Eras Tour "Red" Set List

Swift has played "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," "22," and "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)" from "Red" at each of her shows so far. She also brought out Phoebe Bridgers to play "Nothing New" from "Red (Taylor's Version)" in Nashville on May 5 and 6, and she and Bridgers performed the show every night that Bridgers opened in May.

Swift also surprised fans with "State of Grace" on March 18 in Glendale, AZ; "Sad Beautiful Tragic" on March 31 in Arlington, TX; "The Lucky One" on April 2, also in Arlington; and "Treacherous" on April 13 in Tampa, FL. She then brought out "Begin Again" in Houston on April 23 and played "I Bet You Think About Me" in Atlanta on April 30.

On May 12, she took a special request from her guest performer Bridgers and performed "Come Back... Be Here" during her Philadelphia show. Then on May 19, in Foxborough, MA, she pulled a song from the vault and performed "Better Man" from "Red (Taylor's Version)."

After her piano was damaged due to rain exposure, Swift performed "Red" on her guitar during the May 21 show in Foxborough. A few days later, on May 26 in East Rutherford, NJ, she surprised the crowd with "Holy Ground."

In June, Swift performed quite a few "Red" songs during the surprise portion of the show. On June 4, she did "The Moment I Knew." On June 9, she performed "I Almost Do," and on June 16, she sang "The Last Time." The next surprise song on "Red" came July 15 when she sang "Starlight." On July 22, she sang "Everything Has Changed" (without collaborator Ed Sheeran ), and on July 23 she sang "Message in a Bottle." On July 29, she sang "Stay Stay Stay."

Taylor Swift Eras Tour "1989" Set List

Swift has been playing "1989"'s "Blank Space," "Style," "Shake It Off," "Bad Blood," and "Wildest Dreams" at all of her shows.

She also played "Clean" on April 1 in Arlington, TX, and "Wonderland" on April 21 in Houston. She then surprised fans with "How You Get the Girl" in Atlanta on April 29 and performed "Out of the Woods" in Nashville on May 6. On May 13, she played "This Love" near the end of her Philadelphia show, and on May 28, she performed "Clean" and "Welcome to New York" in New Jersey.

The pop star then kicked off June in Chicago with a June 2 performance of "I Wish You Would." And on June 10, she performed "All You Had to Do Was Stay." On Aug. 4, Swift sang "You Are in Love," and on Aug. 8 she sang "I Know Places." Then on Aug. 9, she performed "New Romantics" as the surprise song, making "1989" the first album to have all its songs performed on the Eras Tour.

Taylor Swift Eras Tour "Reputation" Set List

Swift's "Reputation" picks include "...Ready For It?," "Don't Blame Me," "Delicate," and "Look What You Made Me Do."

She also surprised fans with "Gorgeous" on April 29 in Atlanta. Later, on May 26, she brought surprise guest Jack Antonoff on stage during her May 26 concert in East Rutherford, NJ, to perform "Getaway Car." On July 1 in Cincinnati, Swift sang "Call It What You Want." On July 22, she sang an acoustic version of "This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things." On Aug. 7, she sang "Dress," and on Aug. 8 she performed "King of My Heart." The next day, she performed "New Year's Day" as the surprise song.

Taylor Swift Eras Tour "Lover" Set List

Swift has played the "Lover" tracks "Cruel Summer," "Lover," "The Man," "The Archer," "Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince," and "You Need to Calm Down" at all of her shows.

She also played "Death by a Thousand Cuts" on April 1 in Arlington, TX. Then, on May 21, she treated Foxborough, MA, fans to a performance of "I Think He Knows." She dipped back into her "Lover" album on May 27 when she performed "False God" in East Rutherford, NJ. And Swift performed two "Lover" tracks during her time in Minneapolis. On June 23, she sang "Paper Rings," and on June 24, she sang "Daylight." On July 29, she sang the bonus track "All of the Girls You Loved Before." On Aug. 5, she once again performed "Death by a Thousand Cuts."

In Mexico City, Swift played three "Lover" tracks for the first time on the tour. On Aug. 24, she sang "I Forgot That You Existed." Two nights later on Aug. 26, she performed fan-favorite "Cornelia Street." And during the final Mexico City date on Aug. 27, she performed "Afterglow."

Taylor Swift Eras Tour "Folklore" Set List

From "Folklore," Swift has performed "Cardigan," "The Last Great American Dynasty," "My Tears Ricochet," "August," "Illicit Affairs," and "Betty" at all of her shows. She played "Invisible String" at her first three shows and switched to playing "The 1" on March 31 in Arlington, TX.

She also surprised fans with "Mirrorball" in Glendale, AZ, on March 17 and "This Is Me Trying" on March 18. On April 15, she played "Mad Woman" for fans in Tampa, FL. After taking a break from surprising fans with "Folklore" songs, Swift performed "The Lakes" in Chicago on June 2 and "Seven" on June 17. On Aug. 7 she sang "Exile," turning the duet into a solo.

Taylor Swift Eras Tour "Evermore" Set List

From "Evermore," Swift has been playing "Willow," "Champagne Problems," "'Tis the Damn Season," "Tolerate It," and "Marjorie." During the July 23 and 24 shows, Swift got rid of "'Tis the Damn Season" and replaced it with "No Body, No Crime," which she performed with the opener, Haim. It seems that change will remain in place during shows opened by the band.

She also played "Cowboy Like Me" on March 25 in Las Vegas, and on April 28, she performed "Coney Island" live for the first time in Atlanta. On May 12, she delighted fans in Philadelphia by playing "Gold Rush" in honor of the city's NFL team, the Eagles. In Cincinnati, she sang "Evermore" on June 30, and "Ivy" on July 1. Then on July 8, she sang "Dorothea." On July 28, she sang "Right Where You Left Me."

Taylor Swift Eras Tour "Midnights" Set List

Swift's "Midnights" selections are "Lavender Haze," "Anti-Hero," "Midnight Rain," "Vigilante Sh*t," "Bejeweled," "Karma," and "Mastermind."

She also played "Snow on the Beach" on March 24 in Las Vegas, and on April 14, in Tampa, FL, she surprised fans with a performance of "The Great War" with The National's Aaron Dessner. The same night, she debuted "You're on Your Own, Kid." She then played "High Infidelity" on April 29 in Atlanta. On May 7, she treated Nashville fans to a rendition of "Would've, Could've, Should've."

During her May 20 stop in Foxborough, MA, Swift performed "Question...?" live for the first time. She then served up another live debut for New Jersey fans when she played "Maroon" during the May 26 show. On all three nights in New Jersey, she also brought out Ice Spice to perform "Karma (Remix)" together. On June 4, Swift debuted "Hits Different" — a bonus track — live for the first time, and she brought back "Maroon" on Aug. 3. On Aug. 5, she sang "You're on Your Own, Kid" for a second time.

In Mexico City, she performed "Sweet Nothing" for the first time on Aug. 24. On Aug. 25, she played "Snow on the Beach" again, on Aug. 26 she repeated "You're on Your Own Kid," and on Aug. 27, she played "Maroon" again.

After the movie's world premiere on Oct. 11, early viewers reported that changes had been made to the set list for the film. According to The New York Times , performances of "The Archer," "Cardigan," "Wildest Dreams," and "No Body No Crime" were cut from the film. Fans also reported online that "'Tis the Damn Season" also didn't make the cut. "Long Live" takes place not during the "Speak Now" set, but during the credits of the film. The two surprise songs in the movie are "You're on You're Own, Kid" and "Our Song." Swift's Eras Tour film was filmed during some of the shows in Los Angeles in August.

Celebrities step out for Taylor Swift's New Jersey stop on the Eras Tour

Taylor Swift's stop in East Rutherford, New Jersey, brought plenty of fans from neighboring New York City, including some of her celebrity friends.

At MetLife Stadium, located just 12 miles from Manhattan, Swift kicked off a three-night run of shows May 26. On the first two nights in New Jersey, rapper Ice Spice has joined Swift on stage for a finale performance of “Karma.” Her last show at this venue before heading to Chicago starts at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, May 28.

On Friday, Swift released a special edition of her 10th studio album , “Midnights,” featuring Ice Spice , more vocals from Lana Del Rey and new break-up track “You’re Losing Me. "

But plenty of other celebrities could be found in the crowd and shared sweet footage from the event on social media.

Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers visited MetLife Stadium May 27, not for a game or practice with the New York Jets , but for Swift's concert.

“Taylor time,” he captioned a video on his Instagram story, showing the final countdown of a clock that runs down before the concert begins.

In a video from the concert , Rodgers is seen dancing along to her 2014 hit, “Style,” holding his hands up in the air and swaying to the beat as Swift belts the lyrics, “Just take me home.”

Rodgers also tagged Keleigh Teller, Miles Teller's wife, in his post. The Tellers, who notably starred together in Swift's 2021 music video “I Bet You Think About Me,” were spotted in the audience by fans.

Jenny Han and Lola Tung

Author Jenny Han attended the May 27 show with Lola Tung, star of the TV series adapted from her book, “The Summer I Turned Pretty.”

“Guess where we’re headed,” Han captioned a photo of the duo on her Instagram, each decked out in sparkles. Tung wore a white lace halter top with sparkles around her eyes, while Han wore pastel beaded, heart-shaped sunglasses paired with bright red lipstick, seeming to channel the “Lover” era tied to her 2019 album.

At the Saturday show, Swift played “False God” from “Lover” as one of her surprise songs, meaning it is not part of her setlist . “False God” was also featured in Season One of “The Summer I Turned Pretty.”

Season Two of the hit Prime Video show premieres July 14 — just one week after Swift releases “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).”

Mariska Hargitay

Mariska Hargitay attended another concert of Swift's Eras Tour, after stopping by in Nashville , Tennessee.

The “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” star's character also provided the inspiration for one of the Swift's cat's names — Olivia Benson.

Her first appearance on the Eras Tour initially confused fans, with several fans asking, “Who’s Olivia Benson?”

Another chimed in, “I thought Olivia Benson was the cat.”

Hargitay also notably appeared in Swift's 2015 music video “Bad Blood,” which also starred Selena Gomez, Jessica Alba, Ellen Pompeo (Swift has another cat named Meredith Grey) and Cara Delevigne.

Hargitay and Delevingne posed for a sweet selfie together at the Friday Jersey show for a “lil Bad Blood reunion.”

Lin Manuel Miranda

Near-EGOT winner Lin-Manuel Miranda attended the May 26 concert in New Jersey with his wife, Vanessa, and sat with actor Molly Ringwald and Hargitay.

“…what if I told you I’m a mastermind ( @taylorswift  ftw, what an incredible show),” he captioned a photo and video roundup, referencing one of the songs from “Midnights.”

In addition to posing with Miranda, Ringwald also shared sweet videos from the concert of her daughter, Adele, watching Swift's performance.

“There are certain moments in a girl’s life that are unforgettable ...,” Ringwald captioned a photo of Adele on her Instagram story. “Thank you Taylor Swift.”

She also shared a video of her and Miranda jamming out to “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” decked out in an Eras Tour hoodie.

Gal Gadot attended the May 27 show with her children.

“Even with one happy and sleepy child, I had the best time. @taylorswift you’re an inspiration,” the “Wonder Woman” star captioned a video shared to her Instagram story.

Gadot has three daughters, Alma, Maya and Daniella . In the video, one of her daughters clings to her mom as Gadot dances along to “Shake It Off.”

“Simply an amazing performer and fantastic role model,” she captioned another pic of Swift on stage.

On Wednesday (August 9), the extensive first leg of Taylor Swift ‘s career-spanning Eras Tour came to a triumphant close. During the final performance of six straight nights at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, the 33-year-old hitmaker announced that a re-recorded version of her 2014 album  1989  will be released on October 27.

The news is just the latest in a sea of special announcements and surprises that have coincided with Swift’s first headlining tour in five years. Since kicking off on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona, The Eras Tour has been Swift’s platform to share news directly with her dedicated fans. Along with the release dates for Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and the extended edition of her 2022 album Midnights , she debuted her music videos for “Karma” and “I Can See You” from the stage.

The special connection that Swift has fostered with her massive fanbase has helped land The Eras Tour in the history books. The U.S. Justice Department launched a formal investigation into Ticketmaster after unpredicted demand for the tour caused the site to crash during its initial pre-sale.

On a more positive note, sales of beads and craft supplies rose due to thousands of fans creating Swift-themed friendship bracelets to exchange at show dates. The Eras Tour is also on track to become the highest-grossing concert tour in history , breaking a sales record previously held by Elton John.

If you didn’t get to see Swift’s visual spectacle, which includes vignette performances of songs from each of her past albums, you’re in luck. Additional U.S. dates were recently announced for 2024 , with more dates expected to be unveiled in the coming months.

Breaking Down Taylor Swift’s Tour Setlist, Era by Era

Taylor Swift probably needs no introduction given how she’s one of the most listened-to and most influential artists in the world, breaking records left and right with everything she does. That includes the world tour she’s currently busy on, the Eras Tour—a spectacularly-crafted show that lasts more than three hours and spans the entirety of her career , from her debut album to her most recent work .

The Eras Tour kicked off last March in Glendale, Arizona, and officially wrapped up its first leg—the USA one—with six nights at Sofi Stadium in California, from August 3 to August 9. The very last concert, of course, finished with a bang as Swift announced the release of the newest album in her ongoing re-recording project: 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is coming out on October 27. The announcement was anticipated by a series of very Taylor Swift-esque details, including her switching to blue outfits on stage and the significance of the date—her last show at Sofi was on 8/9, after all.

Still, the Eras Tour has a long way to go. 2023 will see Swift traveling through South America, with dates in Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil. And once the new year arrives it will be time to go overseas—from Japan to Australia to Singapore, then a whole series of dates throughout Europe, and finishing stateside with nights in Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis, and then Canada.

While there definitely might be some changes to the show for its international leg, it’s likely that the bones of the Eras Tour will remain the same. And that, of course, includes its setlist. Let’s take a deep dive into Taylor Swift’s setlist, breaking it down one era at a time.

The Lover act

The show kicks off with the section dedicated to Lover, her seventh studio album. Swift appears on stage and starts with “Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince” before going into “Cruel Summer”—which famously has the very first bridge of the night, as the singer herself tells the audience. Then it’s “The Man” and “You Need to Calm Down” with a whole ensemble of dancers before more stripped-down versions of both “Lover” and “The Archer.”

The Fearless act

The second act moves to Swift’s sophomore album Fearless , released back in 2008. After an obligatory costume change into something orange to represent this particular era, Swift performs “Fearless,” “You Belong With Me,” and “Love Story.” This act is also one of the shortest in the whole show.

The Evermore act

The third act takes things from country to witchy for Evermore , the singer’s second-to-last album. This era kicks off with “’tis the damn season” and continues with “willow,” “marjorie,” “champagne problems,” and ends with “tolerate it.”

The Reputation act

One of the most anticipated each night, the fourth act is dedicated to the 2017 album Reputation —which brought Swift back to the public eye after a series of scandals that threatened to end her career. Swift starts off with “…Ready for It?” and “Delicate” before “Don’t Blame Me,” which iconically transitions into “Look What You Made Me Do.”

The Speak Now act

The fifth—and shortest—act evokes Swift’s junior album, Speak Now , whose re-record was released right in the middle of the tour on July 7. The singer performs two songs—”Enchanted” and “Long Live,” which was added after the release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) —while wearing a full ball gown, one of the most recognizable outfits from the entire show.

The Red act

The first song of the act dedicated to Swift’s fourth album, Red , is “22”—at the end of which the singer gives away the hat she’s wearing to a fan who is chosen in advance. Then it’s time for “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” and “I Knew You Were Trouble”, before she finishes the act with “All Too Well.”

The Folklore act

The seventh act is dedicated to Folklore and it’s a triumph of cottagecore. The first song when the tour started was “invisible string,” which was replaced by “the 1.” Swift continues with “betty,” “the last great american dynasty,” “august,” “illicit affairs,” and “my tears ricochet.” The final song of this era is “cardigan.”

The 1989 act

The second-to-last act of the show starts with “Style” and continues with “Blank Space,” “Shake It Off,” “Wildest Dreams,” and “Bad Blood.” At the end of this act, there’s the famed acoustics set where Swift sits down to play two surprise songs —one on the guitar and one on the piano. The surprise songs have become one of the most recurring inside jokes throughout the tour, with fans guessing what the two songs of the night will be before the show and sharing their reactions after. Fans have also been keeping track of which songs have been played, though it’s likely that the count will reset for the international dates.

The Midnights act

The final act of the show is dedicated to the most recent album Swift released, Midnights . The act opens with “Lavender Haze” and continues with “Anti-Hero,” “Midnight Rain,” and “Vigilante Shit”—with its by-now iconic blue bodysuit and chair dance choreography. “Bejeweled” also features a TikTok-inspired dance move that has gone viral, and then Swift finishes off the show with “Mastermind” and “Karma,” and a healthy dose of fireworks and confetti, as all good closings should have.

The opening night of Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour" helped answer the question on every Swiftie's mind: What is she going to play at her concerts?

Swift kicked off her long-awaited tour Friday, March 17 in Glendale, Arizona, which Mayor Jerry Weiers  temporarily renamed Swift City  by official proclamation to welcome the singer.

The "Eras Tour" is her first concert series since 2018's Reputation Stadium Tour. In the meantime, Swift has released three new studio albums, “Folklore,” “Evermore” and “Midnights,” and she's rerecorded several of her former tracks.

The singer also never toured her seventh studio album, "Lover," as the Lover Fest concert series, scheduled for the summer of 2020, was  canceled due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

With so much ground to cover, fans speculated how she could fit  all 10 eras  of her discography into one concert. The result? A three-hour long spectacle featuring more than 40 songs, according to  Variety , who also shared  footage from opening night on TikTok .

One user  tweeted  six of her looks from Friday night, writing, "now THAT is how you put on a show, taylor swift you are insane."

Another  wrote , "forever grateful to live in the same lifetime as taylor swift," sharing a photo of her singing in a dark, shimmery dress.

Though Swift will be playing to stadiums and arenas, many fans were left disappointed when they couldn't purchase tickets from Ticketmaster back in November after the general sale was canceled.

The ticketing company previously  said in a statement  that over 3.5 million fans registered for the Verified Fan program at the time — the largest number in the company's history. Ticketmaster also noted that they experienced a “staggering number of bot attacks,” contributing to 3.5 billion total system requests, four times its previous peak.

At the level of demand Ticketmaster saw in the fall, the company said that Swift would need to perform over 900 stadium shows, or do a performance every night for the next two and a half years. Ticketmaster was questioned by the  Senate Judiciary Committee  after the fiasco.

Swift took to  social media  on the day the public sale was set to take place, writing in an Instagram story that she's "extremely protective of my fans."

“It’s really difficult for me to trust an outside entity with these relationships and loyalties, and excruciating for me to just watch mistakes happen with no recourse,” she wrote.

In December, however, some fans got  another chance at tickets  after Ticketmaster worked with "Taylor's team" to provide additional opportunities.

W ell, so long, London. After 43 sold-out performances across Europe – including UK dates in Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff and the capital – Taylor Swift’s colossal, record-breaking Eras tour is officially halfway through its final five-night run at Wembley Stadium.

The London dates come immediately after the singer’s three dates in Vienna, Austria were cancelled after intelligence services foiled an ISIS terrorist plot. Wembley has reportedly ramped up security for Swift’s London gigs, with policing minister Diana Johnson saying police will “be looking at all the intelligence” related to the shows.

For those fans lucky enough to be going to Wembley – as any Swiftie knows, it was an almost-impossible task to get tickets, with millions wanting to see what my colleague, Neil McCormick , called a “six star” concert that is more akin to a religious ritual – buying tickets was only half of the battle. You (or your household’s resident Swiftie) may have planned an outfit and made the friendship bracelets, but are you ready for a three-hour extravaganza packed with secret clues and rituals?

Eras tour UK dates

Swift is playing two more dates in the UK and Ireland: 

• August 19-20: London, Wembley Stadium

Fans with early entry should be able to enter Wembley from 3.30pm, with general ticket holders permitted from 4pm.

The majority of the Eras setlist hasn’t changed since Swift kicked off the tour in Arizona last March – it still opens with Lover and ends with Midnights, spanning 46 songs and 10 albums (her poor Debut still doesn’t get a look in). But the arrival of The Tortured Poets Department back in April resulted in a predictable switch-up, with certain songs taken off the setlist (The Archer, Long Live, The 1, The Last Great American Dynasty, ’Tis the Damn Season and Tolerate It) to make room for seven from the new album. 

Fans disappointed at the changes can always hold out hope that one will appear as a secret song during the acoustic set – which immediately follows The Tortured Poets Department’s section.

The secret song (or acoustic) section of the show is easily the most anticipated by fans. Every night is different – although Swift has abandoned her rule from the US leg that secret songs can only be played once, unless a mistake was made – with Swift having 11 albums of material to choose from. 

Swift has swapped performing two full secret songs for ‘mashups’ including, usually, two or three tracks. Here is the full list of secret songs from each UK show so far, and which could be next.

Our predictions:

British fans will be delighted that So Long, London lives to see another day as a potential surprise song, though it’s a marked loss that Swift has finally played London Boy: THE ode to the capital, and her ex, Joe Alwyn. There’s a few collaborations with British artists that haven’t been played yet, either: I Don’t Wanna Live Forever (featuring One Direction’s Zayn Malik) or Florida!!! (Florence Welch), so they’re looking likely.

Taylor Swift’s set lasts for three hours and 15 minutes: up there with career-spanning performances from Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney and The Cure. 

The main show begins with the appearance of a ticking clock on stage, which counts down from a total of two minutes while songs from Lady Gaga (Applause) and Lesley Gore (You Don’t Own Me) play in the background. 

Once the countdown reaches zero, dancers brandishing ginormous, pastel-hued flags walk out on stage to a backing track listing her various albums (the crowd’s biggest scream being reserved for when it says “My name is Taylor, and I was born in 1989!”). Then, the fabric flags fall to the floor, lift and reveals Swift beneath, in the centre, ready to be hoisted up on a rising stage block to sing a short version of opener Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince (from Lover) before going straight into her biggest streaming hit, Cruel Summer.

Swift takes no substantial breaks during the three-hour plus set – aside from various outfit or stage changes in between Eras – but there are fleeting moments you can rest, including after the Speak Now section (which is a mere single song, Enchanted) which has a slightly longer interval before Swift begins to perform songs from Red. Don’t forget, either, to put on the special wristband you’re handed on entry – it flashes different colours throughout the set and can often signal surprise songs or special moments.

Prepare your friendship bracelets

Whether you’re a bona fide Swiftie or the parent or guardian of one, I guarantee you will have heard of friendship bracelets. Inspired by a lyric from Midnights’ You’re On Your Own, Kid (“So make the friendship bracelets / Take the moment and taste it”), Swift’s fans wear armfuls of homemade, largely plastic bracelets featuring beads that spell out song names or inside jokes. 

Then, once at the show, the fans “trade” bracelets with each other to make new friends. The internet is full of tutorials on how to make them, but if your show is drawing closer and you’re yet to make any, Amazon Prime is your best bet.

What to pack?

Despite what Gen Zs on TikTok may suggest, the Eras tour is just a concert. Thus, it doesn’t necessitate buying fancy new cameras, iPhones, earplugs or battery packs – but you would be wise to pack a jumper (it gets cold – and the ones for sale on the official merchandise will set you back around £60); those friendship bracelets, as well, of course, as your ticket.

What to wear to the Eras tour

Learn the fan lyrics 

If you’re lucky enough to have tickets to the Eras tour, learning 11 albums worth of songs – plus the Vault tracks from her ‘Taylor’s Version’ rerecords – might seem like an impossible task. Unluckily, it’s not just Swift’s 274 official singles (46 of which make up the setlist) that you need to know, because the crowd adds special lines to multiple songs. 

During Delicate, from Reputation, fans yell the chant “One, two, three, let’s go b—h!” after she sings “We can’t make any promises, now can we, babe?” Chart-topping revenge anthem Bad Blood, meanwhile, taken from 2014’s 1989, sees fans screech the end of the line “You forgive / You forget / But you never let it go”. Swift’s knowing winks during the songs indicate she knows exactly what the crowd is gearing up for.

Who are the support acts?

US pop-rock band Paramore are the primary support act for all UK Eras shows, and typically begin their 45-minute set at 6.15pm. There are extra support acts for the final five shows at Wembley Stadium: Sofia Isella (15 August), Holly Humberstone (16 August), Suki Waterhouse (17 August), Maisie Peters (19 August) and Raye (20 August).

Standout moments so far – concert by concert

The Eras tour is a tightly-run ship revolving around immaculate choreography, a watertight setlist and a performer renowned for her professionalism, but that doesn’t mean every single night is the same. The weather can be temperamental, Swift could bring out a special guest, or you might just spot your favourite A-lister lurking within the crowd (or, more likely, the coveted VIP tent in front of the sound desk). And of course, there’s the secret song section, for which we’ve dedicated a separate section above this one.

Edinburgh: Night One

Fans present at the opening show in Edinburgh were quick to record the moment Swift had to take a break from performing Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve on acoustic guitar – as part of the secret songs set – because of a pesky hand-cramp. As Swift put it: “My hand has frozen in a weird way. This has never happened before!” 

Videos of her shivering on stage suggest the reliably-volatile Scottish weather was to blame. Another highlight came courtesy of her backing dancer Kam, recently in the news for his decision to buy a kilt (after worrying it was cultural appropriation), who contributes a city-specific line to We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together – Edinburgh’s first one being “Ya wee raj”. Think of it as Taylor does Trainspotting.

Edinburgh: Night Two

Proving that the secret song section is truly what gets the crowd (and internet) talking, Swift’s decision to perform Crazier, a track taken from 2009’s Hannah Montana: The Movie – that she has never played live before – had Swifties around the globe hyperventilating, not least because its inclusion suggested it will appear on the rerecording of her debut album.

Elsewhere, fans of Amazon Prime Video’s hit Outlander would have been wise to peer towards the VIP tent, where the show’s cast – including Sam Heughan – were busy dancing the night away.

Edinburgh: Night Three

Scottish singer Nina Nesbitt, who watched the third show from the VIP tent, shared a moving message on Instagram about her long-term love for Swift. The 29-year-old, who hails from West Lothian, wrote: “It was so special to hear the songs that made me want to pick up a guitar back in the place I’m from”. 

Swift’s influence was also keenly felt during her surprise performance of Exile, in which the crowd – all 73,000 of them – dutifully sang Bon Iver’s parts of the song; you can see her joy in videos from the performance in which she’s grinning, in disbelief, that this many people know her music this inside-out.

Liverpool: Night One

You’ll be surprised to learn that Liverpool’s biggest Swiftie is not, in fact, a random teenage girl singing along to Fearless in her bedroom. Jurgen Klopp, the former Reds manager, who has spoken of his love for Swift’s music before, showed up on the first night at Anfield (wearing pink heart-shaped sunglasses, no less) to show his support. Elsewhere, Swift performed I Can See You, a Vault track from Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), as the first secret song - fitting given it was filmed in the city last year. No appearance from Sir Paul McCartney - also an avid Swiftie - but there’s two nights left…

Swift used her 100th Eras Tour show to confirm that the tour will end this year, ending speculation that more dates would be added. “The celebration of the 100th show for me means this is the very first time I’ve acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December. Like, that’s it,” she told the rain-sodden crowd at Anfield. “I think that this tour has really become my entire life,” she said during her intro to All Too Wel. “It’s taken over everything. I think I once had hobbies, but I don’t know what they were anymore.

“All I do when I’m not on stage is sit at home and try to think of clever acoustic song mash-ups and think about what you might want to hear.”

Liverpool: Night Two

Stood just a few heads back from where Swift was seated for the surprise songs set, nothing could have prepared me for the first track: This Is What You Came For, the 2016 hit originally performed by Calvin Harris and Rihanna – that Swift wrote. It will surely be on Reputation (Taylor’s Version); Harris, Swift’s superstar DJ ex-boyfriend, clearly couldn’t be bothered to deal with the social media attention, because he deleted his account on X after this performance. I’ve seen Swift on multiple tours, in wildly different stages of her career, but seeing her on Eras – so confident and self-assured – is a privilege. 

British rising star Griff, who will open for Swift on the second night at Wembley, was also present - warning that “if I don’t have a voice next week at Wembley it’s because I lost it at Eras a week early.” 

Liverpool: Night Three

A highlight of the Red set is always We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, when Swift’s dancer Kem tries out his best local slang. The third night in Scouseland saw him listen to the TikTok advice and yell “Jog on lad,” much to the delight of the crowd. The Red trend continued through to the surprise songs, when Swift performed the title track from that album – an ode to love, but for one night only, Liverpool FC. Or, of course, the Kansas City Chiefs.

A special mention goes to the Swifties who dedicated a selection of friendship bracelets to victims of the Hillsborough disaster.

Swift had obviously been doing her homework before heading to the Welsh capital’s Principality Stadium, as she uttered a number of Welsh phrases throughout the gig, from “Shwmae Cardiff” (Hello Cardiff) to “Croeso I daith Eras” (Welcome to the Eras tour) and “Un, dau, tri, pedwar” (1, 2, 3, 4). Fan favourite dancer Kam, meanwhile, went for “ych a fi!” (gross) during We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. As the only indoor/closed-roof concert of the UK leg of Eras, meanwhile, some fans in Cardiff were left disappointed there was no firework display during Karma, the closing song.

London: Night One

The first night in the capital was always going to be starry, and Wembley certainly didn’t disappoint. Swift’s boyfriend, the NFL star Travis Kelce, showed up with his brother Jason, along with supermodel Cara Delevingne, fashion designer Stella McCartney, actresses Rosamund Pike, Salma Hayek and Nicola Coughlan and even Labour leader Keir Starmer (with his wife, Victoria). Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales opted to celebrate his 42nd birthday at the show , watching from a private box with his children. 

As always, the surprise songs segment proved a winner, as Swift launched into The Black Dog, for the first time ever, which was inspired by her past visits to an unassuming boozer in Vauxhall. Swift has always had a special relationship with London, having lived here for a time when she was dating British actor Joe Alwyn, meaning her first night at Wembley (she has played at the stadium before, as part of 2018’s Reputation tour) was always going to be special. Little wonder she called it “the most exhilarating city in the world”! She even got the weather to bend to her every whim, with the day’s rare sun giving way to rain during Midnight Rain.

London: Night Two

The second night at Wembley took a look at Friday’s guestlist and said oh no, you’re not getting away with that. Two future Kings and a (potential) future Prime Minister had nothing on the second night’s VIP guests: Tom Cruise, Greta Gerwig, Liam Hemsworth, Rachel Zegler, Jamie Dornan, Hugh Grant (eating a bag of carrots in the VIP tent, no less), Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Emily Maitlis, Beth Mead and, again, Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce (seemingly with his full family in tow). 

The show turned into a “who’s who” of Hollywood, but it was the appearance of Swift’s beloved mother, Andrea - who got choked up by a hero’s welcome from fans - that touched the heartstrings. Eighteen years of guiding her daughter later, and she’s the biggest popstar in the world, her tickets a hotter commodity than gas or oil (*kind of). 

Also, the secret song choices made this path even more poignant: first up was thanK you aIMee (the capitalised letters spell out Kim, widely thought to be a reference to former nemesis Kim Kardashian) crossed with Mean, Swift’s Grammy-winning country single about classmate jibes and irrelevant haters from Speak Now, where she swapped the lyrics to “Someday I’ll be singing this song at Wembley”. Then came a long-awaited duet with Paramore’s Hayley Williams for Castles Crumbling, also from Speak Now, a sparkling showcase for both women’s talents - and mutual respect and adoration.

London: Night Three

Travis Kelce appearing on stage as one of Swift’s backing performers for I Can Do It With A Broken Heart! The Sir Paul McCartney trading friendship bracelets from the VIP tent, where he was hanging out with daughter Stella! Swift bringing close friend Gracie Abrams out to sing Us, their collaboration from Abrams’s new album . Once again, it was the VIP guests who got the crowd talking: Macca at the top, closely followed by Jon Bon Jovi, Ellie Goulding, Sophie Turner, Cate Blanchett, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Andrew Scott and Piers Morgan. 

Swift also made a few pointed comments about the pitfalls of playing live (during the 10 minute-long All Too Well, she stopped for a few seconds, saying “I swallowed a bug, can you sing?”), and the talents of her extensive live band, seemingly in response to disparaging comments made by Dave Grohl in London the day before. At a Foo Fighters gig at the London Stadium, Grohl warned the crowd “Be nice! You don’t want the Swifties after you” before suggesting Swift doesn’t sing live at her live shows. 

Dublin: Night One

Swift was welcomed to Dublin with a bunch of flowers from her old friends – and “Irish fan club” – U2. “Already feeling that Irish hospitality!!” she posted on Instagram. She paid tribute to the “folklore” of Ireland and there were Irish references sprinkled throughout the evening, from a “haon, dó, trí, ceathair” countdown in I Can Do It With a Broken Heart to costume changes in the colours of the Irish flag. Paramore singer Hayley Williams also wore a Cranberries t-shirt for her support set.

Dublin: Night Two

Graham Norton showed up at the second Dublin date, with the presenter writing on Instagram that the show was “off the scale fabulous” and calling Swift a “class act in every way”. We wonder if he’s gunning for another appearance from Swift on his famous red sofa back in London; after all, she’s featured many times over the years. In August, ahead of the final Wembley shows, perhaps?

Dublin: Night Three

With Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks (who is currently on her own tour) watching on, Swift performed Clara Bow from The Tortured Poets Department for the first time. Introducing the song, which includes the lyric “You look like Stevie Nicks”, Swift said: “The reason I want to play this tonight is because a friend of mine is here who is watching the show and who has really been one of the reasons why I or any female artist gets to do what we get to do. She’s paved the way for us. And she’s mentored so many artists. I can’t tell you how rare that is. She’s a hero of mine and also someone that I can tell her any secret and she would never tell anybody. She’s really helped me through so much over the years.” Then, Swift sang You’re On Your Own Kid in full, a song Nicks previously said helped her to process the death of her bandmate, Christine McVie. Nicks was seen wiping away tears from the VIP tent during the performance. Hollywood actress Julia Roberts was also in attendance.

London: Night Four (August run)

It was always going to be an emotional show: the first since the tragic events in Southport and the cancelled run of shows in Vienna. Swift herself seemed to stay away from making a marked statement on either event, but she seemed happy to be back in her safe space, surrounded by more than 90,000 adoring fans, united in their love of music and refusing to succumb to hate or fear. 

The celebrity guests turned out in full force, too, from actors Idris Elba (whose vocals famously opened Swift’s hit London Boy, yet to be performed at the Eras tour), Jameela Jamil and Ambika Mod to ‘Chicken Shop Date’ host Amelia Dimoldenberg. Once again, though, the loudest cheers from the crowd were reserved for two very special ladies in Swift’s life: her mother, Andrea, and her publicist, Tree Paine.

But it was the night’s special guest who really got the audience whooping, weeping and hollering. English megastar Ed Sheeran appeared on stage halfway through Swift’s performance of their collaboration, Everything Has Changed, to perform with her; the pair went on to sing another of their songs together, End Game, and Sheeran’s own chart-topper Thinking Out Loud. Swift thanked him for taking the time to come out, saying: “He is like a second brother”. After that mic drop, Swift went on to perform a medley of King of My Heart, from Reputation (her album-ode to ex Joe Alwyn), and The Alchemy (awkwardly, a similarly gushing ode to her new beau, Travis Kelce). 

London: Night Five

It finally happened: she sang London Boy. Swift’s ode to her ex, the North London-raised actor Joe Alwyn, became a full-length love letter to the city where she lived for so long; it’s no secret that, over the past two decades, London has welcomed Swift with open arms perhaps more than any other global city. That surprise song choice leaves behind just one London-centric single for her to perform - So Long, London, from this year’s chart-topper The Tortured Poets Department. Fingers crossed she whips it out on the piano on the final show on August 20. Elsewhere, it was teen angst all round in the surprise songs department as Swift performed a medley of break-up anthems Dear John and Sad Beautiful Tragic. 

The Easter egg-hunters went into overdrive, too, after she appeared on stage for the Midnights section in a brand new costume/bodysuit. Last time she did that, she announced 1989 (Taylor’s Version) the day after. Here’s hoping that Reputation finally comes out of that vault...

London: Night Six

The deeper we get into the Eras tour - and the closer we get to it ending - the more intense the rumours grow that Swift is preparing to announce her final “rerecorded” albums, Reputation and Taylor Swift (her debut). Fans at the sixth show at Wembley went into overdrive when Swift performed I Did Something Bad as her first surprise song, a track taken from Reputation (that’s not yet been played on the Eras tour) that fans widely believed would herald the announcement. But, alas, the song was played sans any new news on when Reputation (Taylor’s Version) would arrive. Swift knew exactly what she was doing, of course, teasing fans even further when she signed off the show doing a snake symbol (Reputation’s mascot, basically).

Elsewhere, fans went wild when support act Hayley Williams (of Paramore) surprised them with a performance of Decode, taken from the Twilight soundtrack - and dedicated, for one night only, to that film’s star Robert Pattinson, who was at Wembley to support his wife (another support act) Suki Waterhouse. The evening’s highlight, though, had to be Sharon Osbourne showing up in a ‘Taylor for President’ t-shirt; Wembley to the White House, anyone?

Potential special guests

Swift has brought a number of famous guests on stage to sing with her throughout the Eras tour – typically artists with feature credits on her songs. The National’s Aaron Dessner, who produced much of her lockdown albums Folklore and Evermore, appeared in Santa Clara, California, to perform melodic break-up ballad Right Where You Left Me. With The National regularly touring the world to play festivals and their own gigs, could he make a surprise stop in NW London? Here’s hoping.

Then there’s sister-indie trio HAIM, who are personal close friends with Swift and featured on No Body, No Crime. Pictures of them out for a meal in London with Swift (and other famous faces, including Kate Moss, Lena Dunham and Andrew Scott) suggest they could make an appearance.

Other potential secret guests range from Lana Del Rey (who sang on Snow on the Beach, and is in the UK in August for Reading and Leeds festivals), Jack Antonoff (Getaway Car and more) and Zayn Malik (I Don’t Wanna Live Forever). All are probable, since Swift has already brought out Paramore’s Hayley Williams for their collaboration, Castles Crumbling, Gracie Abrams (for Us) and Ed Sheeran (for a mash-up of Everything Has Changed/End Game/Thinking Out Loud).

The secrets to look out for – and what they all mean

Ask any Taylor Swift fan what the secret to her colossal success is, and you might be surprised by their answer. Her emotionally vulnerable lyrics and 11 chart-topping studio albums come into play, of course, but it’s her Easter eggs – the secret clues she hides in her songs – that have established her as an unprecedented force in the music industry. And she’s done the same with the Eras concert, filling it with clues, tips and tricks hidden behind certain stages, lyrics or costumes that throw light on her life, her passions and her songs. Here we interpret it all for you. 

The show opens with Lover – to mark Taylor’s creative rebirth …

Released in 2019, Swift’s seventh studio album was meant to get the full bells and whistles treatment: chart-topping singles (Me!, You Need to Calm Down, Lover and The Man) and a sold-out tour (“Lover Fest” was supposed to be a worldwide phenomenon, that included a show at London’s BST Hyde Park). Lover was also intended to mark a creative rebirth for Swift, whose popularity had waned following public spats with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian (that resulted in 2017’s Reputation). 

Instead, Covid arrived, the tour was cancelled, and some of the singles flopped (although the album did feature Cruel Summer, surprisingly now her biggest, most-streamed hit). Swift had multiple reasons to open the Eras tour with the Lover section, and track Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince. The album was her first record to be entirely hers – following her legal battle with former record label Big Red Machine, that has seen her rerecord much of her back catalogue – and it never got its glory days because of the pandemic, so she seems to be picking up where she left off. 

Some fans have even construed the choice to be aimed at former boyfriend Joe Alwyn, who she reportedly broke up with in March 2023 (the same month the Eras tour kicked off in the US), with Swift the all-American golden girl and he, the brooding British actor, the prince who wound up breaking her heart.

… Then the house burns down

For much of the Lover section, Swift performs on stage in front of a huge glass house with rooms nodding at previous music videos or Eras. As the titular track ends and she prepares to move into the Fearless era, the house bursts into fake flames and looks like it is burning down on stage. Could it symbolise the breakdown of her relationship with Alwyn, an end to her romantic side, or a potential hiatus post-Eras tour?

The Fearless dance

Nostalgia forms the heart of the Eras tour. Over two decades, Swift has released 11 studio albums packed with hits – from Love Story to We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together – and made billions of dollars from her music. The tour itself is a celebration of this (as Swift announces at the beginning: “We are about to go on a little adventure together”), as well as her old and new fans. The second part of the show is dedicated to 2008’s country gem Fearless – which won her first Grammy for Album of the Year – and features multiple nods to her younger years and earlier performances, including the jump and spin dance and heart sign she makes with her hands during the title song.

The meaningful outfits 

Colours are important in Taylor Swift’s World, because each album is colour-coded (gold for Fearless, purple for Speak Now, black for Reputation, etc). Those signifiers form the heart of many fans’ chosen outfits for the tour, but also Swift’s own style choices on stage. When she announced 1989 (Taylor’s Version) in Los Angeles on August 9, she swapped her usual outfits for blue variants (1989’s colour) throughout the show. The show’s newest Era, dedicated to 11th album The Tortured Poets Department, sees her wear a toned-down spin on a circus ringmaster outfit for I Can Do It With a Broken Heart (a knowing nod to her 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards outfit) – a song about powering through heartbreak to dazzle fans and critics – while the logo on the t-shirt she wears during 22 (from Red) changes depending on the show.

One particular outfit to keep an eye on is the black and red, snake-emblazoned sequin catsuit she wears during the Reputation era – because it’s the only outfit that hasn’t changed since the beginning of the tour. 

I Can Do It With a Broken Heart – and the Reputation glass boxes

ICDIWABH, mentioned above, is a defiant, gloriously poppy middle finger-up to anyone who thought Swift would buckle under the pressure of heartbreak and fame. “They said, “Babe, you gotta fake it ‘til you make it” and I did,” she sings. “Lights, camera, bitch smile, even when you wanna die”. The staging itself involves a motionless Swift, lying on the ground after performing The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived, being picked up by two grinning circus masters, who strip her dress and replace it with the ringmaster outfit. After flopping and falling around like a ragdoll, Swift suddenly jerks to life and bursts into song – a true professional, at whatever personal cost.

During the Reputation section, meanwhile, and in particular Look What You Made Me Do, Swift performs in front of a collection of glass boxes containing dancers dressed in similar costumes to ones worn throughout her career. The song itself, which was originally aimed at West and Kardashian, is Swift’s way of standing up for herself in front of an industry who expected her to be the meek, good-girl country star, instead of a powerful woman. Taken together, the imagery of both songs (ICDIWABH and LWYMMD) supports this – Swift seeing herself as someone who hasn’t been allowed to grow up, whose entire adolescence (and now, adulthood) was catered to pleasing the public.

Taken from her fourth studio album, 2012’s Red, 22 marked a musical switch for Swift from country to pure pop. During her performance of the song at the Eras tour, she storms down the long stage with her crew of backing dancers to reach one lucky fan at the other end, who is handed the black (personally signed) trilby she wears during the performance (and wore in the original video). 

Fans looking to secure the hat would be best to direct their attention to the Taylor Nation social media accounts – allegedly run by a combination of 13 Management, her mother Andrea and father Scott – who personally choose the recipient. One such lucky fan was the late basketball player’s Kobe Bryant’s young daughter, Bianka, who was handed the hat (and embraced) by Swift in Los Angeles.

The Folklore house

Between the pop-tastic anthems of Red and 1989, Swift brings down the tempo for the Folklore section (twinned with Evermore on the European leg). The album, which she wrote and released during the pandemic, was a critical darling; co-written with and produced by The National’s Aaron Dessner, it marked a switch from pop to a more indie, mature sound. During the set, she performs songs from Folklore and Evermore from atop a grassy woodland cabin (inspired by her 2021 Grammy performance) that is also home to the moss-covered piano where she sits and performs Champagne Problems.

So High School’s ode to Travis Kelce

When Swift began the Eras tour, she was newly single and heartbroken, tearing up on stage while performing for songs she had written in honour of former beau Joe Alwyn. Since then, she’s released The Tortured Poets Department, another break-up album widely interpreted to be about Matty Healy, the 1975 frontman who she dated afterwards. 

But her current boyfriend, the NFL star Travis Kelce, has no reason to fear, because he gets his love story during So High School. Swift only sings part of the song, which is about her falling head over heels for this teenage-kind of love (and includes the line “You know how to ball / I know Aristotle”), but the accompanying dance is the clearest nod to Kelce. She and her backing dancers sit atop makeshift bleachers and “swag surf” – a waving motion typically used at US sporting events, that she was seen doing during a Kansas City Chiefs game earlier this year.

The Bejeweled TikTok dance

It’s easy to attribute the unprecedented success of the Eras tour to the rise of TikTok. The day after the tour began in Arizona in March 2023, I had seen it in its entirety – from my bedroom in London – thanks to people live-streaming from the concert, or uploading multiple videos. Since then, of course, there has been the blockbuster concert film, but the video sharing platform offered the first opportunity for international fans (or those who couldn’t afford tickets) to see the show. 

TikTok even provided Swift with a free choreographer. New Jersey-based creator Mikael Arellano went viral in 2022 with his dance to Bejeweled, the ninth track from Midnights, where he shimmies and shakes his hands and body to the chorus. It racked up billions of views and sure enough, when the Eras tour opened, Swift and her dancers did the same dance. As a way of saying thank you, Arellano was even called up to accept the much-fêted 22 hat in May 2023.

The cheapest Taylor Swift tickets to see the ‘Eras Tour’ in London are under $400

Taylor Swift is finishing up her time in the UK with a mini-residency in London.

Swift is performing five shows in London at Wembley Stadium from Aug. 15-20 . Her London shows mark the end of her international tour, and she will not tour again until the fall when she is back in the U.S. performing in Miami .

Pit tickets to some shows are under $1,000 – her Saturday show on Aug. 17th has pit tickets for just $818 , which is a steal compared to some of the other prices we’ve seen on the “ Eras Tour .”

The cheapest ticket price overall is $389 on Vivid Seats for her Saturday show on Aug. 16 in the upper 500 levels.

You better make the move to get these tickets before they sell out because there is a high chance they do.

Throughout the “Eras Tour,” the cheapest last-minute tickets for Swift’s 2024 concerts have been on secondary sites, like StubHub and Vivid Seats .

Thursday – August 15

At the time of publication, the cheapest ticket for Swift’s Aug. 15 “Eras Tour” concert in London is $400 on Vivid Seats and $637 on StubHub , with other tickets listed as high as $5,060. The cheapest GA pit ticket is $1,114 (£868) on StubHub .

Friday – August 16

For her Aug. 16 show, the cheapest ticket at the time of publication (before fees) is also $389 on Vivid Seats and $670 on StubHub , while other tickets are listed as high as $8,044. The cheapest pit ticket is $1,113 on StubHub .

Saturday – August 17

Finally, for her Aug. 17 concert in London, the cheapest ticket is $429 on Vivid Seats and $773 on StubHub , with the most expensive ticket being $6,034. The cheapest pit ticket is $818 on Vivid Seats .

Monday - August 19

The cheapest ticket for Taylor Swift’s Wembley Stadium concert on Aug. 19 is $488 on Vivid Seats and $696 on StubHub . The most expensive ticket listed for this show is a whopping $15,521. The cheapest pit ticket is $1,260 on Vivid Seats .

Tuesday – August 20

Finally, for her final international show on Aug. 20, the cheapest ticket is $590 on Vivid Seats and $696 on StubHub . The most expensive ticket for this concert is a whopping $15,620 (£12,290). The cheapest pit ticket is $1,546 (£1,205) on StubHub .

However, beware as a majority of these tickets are sold by scalpers above face value, ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 for seats. For example, one of the cheapest set of tickets on StubHub for Miami's Oct. 18 date is $1,915 per ticket for a "limited, obstructed" view.

What items are allowed inside Hard Rock Stadium? 

Hard Rock Stadium allows fans  one bag that is clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and does not exceed 12” by 6” and 12” or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar). In addition to one of the clear bags noted above, fans may also carry in a small clutch bag or purse approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap.

Items such as smartphones, binoculars, and cameras will still be permitted into the stadium. This policy is meant to speed up the process of entering the stadium along with increasing security measures.

What is the parking situation for Hard Rock Stadium?

The stadium does feature an extensive parking system with over 26,500 official car parking spaces, yet officials recommend advanced booking for anyone seeking a hassle-free parking experience.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour shows in Vienna were canceled earlier this month following an alleged plot to attack the stadium. Three people were arrested for allegedly planning to attack Taylor Swift’s first concert.

According to officials and news reports, police arrested a 19-year-old Austrian who is accused of planning an attack at Ernst Happel Stadium with “bladed weapons” and the "construction of a bomb." A 17-year-old who would have been working at the stadium during Swift's concert was also arrested and a 15-year-old was questioned by police.

Swift nor her team addresses the cancelations or the alleged attack. She went on to perform her six sold out shows in London a week later.

In other news for the popstar, both U.S. presidential candidates are eying her prized endorsement. After Swift posted to Instagram last fall to remind her followers to vote, a record of more than 30,000 people signed up through Vote.org during National Voter Registration Day. Many of the signups were in Florida, according to USA TODAY.

Some have speculated Swift has shown her support for Vice President Kamala Harris at her concerts, with her fans starting "Swifties for Kamala" events. Former President Donald Trump has also tried to get her fans' attention , posting artificially generated images alluding to her alleged support on his social media platform  Truth Social .
