Taylor Swift: Eras tour concert film to get global release in October

Film will play in more than 100 countries including the UK from 13 October, in line with its previously announced US, Canada and Mexico release

Eight months before the real thing is due to hit the UK , the concert film of Taylor Swift ’s behemoth Eras tour will screen in British cinemas this October.

Taylor Swift The Eras Tour will play in more than 100 countries from 13 October, the same day as its previously announced US, Canada and Mexico release.

The film was recorded over the first three of six nights that Swift played at the SoFi stadium in California in August. In its first day of US presales, it amassed a record $37m (£30.3m).

It is directed by Sam Wrench , who previously directed concert films for Billie Eilish and Lizzo, and produced independently by Taylor Swift Productions.

The film’s run time is 165 minutes, and so presumably will not contain the entirety of the Eras tour setlist, which runs to 44 songs and lasts more than three hours. No further details on the film’s contents have been made available.

In the US, adult tickets have been priced at $19.89, in reference to Swift’s upcoming release of the re-recorded version of her 2014 album 1989, and child and senior prices at $13.13, a nod to the 33-year-old songwriter’s lucky number. In the UK, tickets for the concert ranged between £58 for seating and in excess of £660 for the top-tier VIP package.

The Eras Tour movie will be Swift’s fourth concert film, following similar documentations of her albums Fearless, 1989 and Reputation, and a film of the only concert she gave to promote her 2019 album Lover, the planned tour for which was scuppered by the pandemic.

In 2020, Swift released Miss Americana , a behind-the-scenes documentary directed by Lana Wilson that spanned 2018 to 2019 and saw Swift finding her political voice, addressing her experiences with body dysmorphia and an eating disorder, and her mother’s cancer diagnosis.

Swift is making her own feature directing debut for Searchlight Pictures. No further details have been made available. Swift has directed or co-directed all of her music videos since 2019’s Me!

The Eras tour will be in the UK for a sold-out run of shows in June 2024, starting in Edinburgh. The ticket sales were less frantic than in the US, where Ticketmaster’s practices spurred a government antitrust hearing , although many fans reported frustration at an opaque system that did not reveal ticket prices until the purchaser reached checkout and had 90 seconds to decide on whether to proceed.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour film is coming to the UK - here's how to get tickets

Taylor Swift's record-breaking Eras Tour will be shown in cinemas from October.

Tuesday 26 September 2023 14:27, UK

Attention Swifties - the Taylor Swift Eras Tour film is coming to the UK.

The film was announced in August but it was only scheduled to play in the US.

However, UK fans of the pop megastar can now enjoy the movie here too.

Announcing the film, Swift said: "The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I'm overjoyed to tell you that it'll be coming to the big screen soon."

The Eras Tour was attended by more than three million fans during the first leg of its US run.

Shows in the US sold out almost instantly when they went on sale, despite multiple dates in almost every corner of the country.

That's despite chaos at Ticketmaster , with fans saying they were repeatedly kicked off the site , left waiting hours in queues, and in some cases, had their tickets cancelled.

AMC Theatres has ramped up its capacity for ticket sales in response.

"AMC has bolstered its ticket server capacity to handle traffic at more than five times the current record for the most ever tickets sold in an hour," it said.

How can you get tickets and when is it being released?

The film will be shown at all ODEON cinemas in the UK so head to their website to grab your seats.

The release date is 13 October but you can book from now - tickets are about £20 each.

You may need to queue to get on to the website, as there seemed to be heavy traffic shortly after the announcement...

Be prepared to get into full Swift mode, because she star encourages people to go all out.

"Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged 1, 2, 3 LGB!!!! (iykyk)."

A storm delayed a Taylor Swift concert in Nashville, Tennessee forcing fans to take shelter from rain and lightning. Attendees sang songs as they waited for the go-ahead to take their seats.

The Eras Tour started in the US in March, wrapping up at the start of August before the star headed to Central and South America, ending in Brazil in November.

Following a break, the star will pick up the shows in Japan in February 2024, moving to Australia and Singapore before the European leg gets under way in Paris in May 2024.

Swift's UK gigs take place in June 2024, starting in Edinburgh and ending in London.

It’s FOMO no more for global Taylor Swift fans. The singer and AMC Theatres announced Tuesday morning that the “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour ” concert film will open in more than 100 countries worldwide on Oct. 13, the same day previously announced for the its North American bow. Tickets for showings in most of those countries will go on sale immediately.

The long overseas component of Swift’s Eras Tour do not begin until early 2024, so some fans wondered if the singer would let some or all of those dates pass before releasing the film version in those territories she has yet to play. This announcement makes it clear that Swift doesn’t consider it a problem to give global fans cinematic spoilers before the record-breaking tour touches down in their cities.

Tickets for the concert film’s initial U.S. screenings moved so swiftly that other studios quickly moved some of their product off of planned Oct. 13 opening dates. Expectations for the movie’s box office went sky-high after AMC sold $26 million in tickets on the first day they went on sale, a single-day record for the chain; that number did not include the sales for other chains or independent theaters that also put tickets on sale that day.

The running time for the film has been marked as 2 hours and 45 minutes. Even though that’s shorter than the nightly three-hour-plus length of her shows, Swift’s reps have assured fans that no songs have been cut from the setlist. So-called “secret songs” — representing the two-song wild card slot in her show — will be part of the movie, although which rarities made the cut have not yet been revealed. Director Sam Wrench’s cameras captured the first half of Swift’s six-night run at L.A.’s SoFi Stadium in August.

Most exhibitors are not expected to enforce traditional theater decorum during the run of the film. In her first announcement of the U.S. opening for the movie, Swift made it clear that concert, not film, etiquette will be the norm: “Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged,” she wrote.

The concert film is not Swift’s only major October release. The latest album in her series of deluxe re-recordings, “1989 (Taylor’s Version),” comes out Oct. 27.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour Concert Film Set For UK Release In Global Move

Taylor Swift

Ready for it? Already a huge success in the States, with $65 million in pre-sales and box office predictions in the $100-$125 million range before it has even opened, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour is now heading out to the rest of the world.

The concert film is set for release in the States on 13 October, and will arrive the same day here in the UK and elsewhere.

Odeon said this morning that moviegoers can snap up tickets at its locations in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Spain, Italy, Germany and Portugal. In a nod to Taylor Swift’s 1989 album and her favourite number, 13, tickets in the UK and Ireland will be priced at £19.89/€19.89 for adults and £13.13/€13.13 for children.

It's a slightly surprising move given that the Eras tour itself is not set to hit Europe until next year, but given how well it has already been selling, Swift and her team are clearly not worried about the film cannibalizing live tour ticket sales.

You can buy tickets at Odeon's site .

The movie is officially titled Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) , and it will be an extended version of the record-breaking concert film.

The movie will feature five extra songs, including Folklore track 'Cardigan' and four additional acoustic tracks. It is unclear what those other songs will be, but it's not long before fans will find out.

The movie was originally trimmed down to just below the three-hour mark for its cinematic release, while Universal released a longer version online available to rent. That version featured three additional songs: 'Wildest Dreams', 'The Archer', and 'Long Live'.

The Eras Tour originally released on October 13, 2023, and soon became the highest-grossing concert movie of all time as it comfortably beat the $73 million that Justin Bieber: Never Say Never earned across its entire run in 2011.

Fans might not have to wait too long to see Swift in another guise, either, as there are rumours she could appear in the highly-anticipated Deadpool 3 as either Dazzler or Lady Deadpool.

When asked about the possibility recently , director Shawn Levy said: "I’m going across the board. ‘No comment’ because that’s a double whammy. That’s Taylor-related. And it’s MCU-related. I’m no dummy. You’re going to have to wait and see."

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor's Version) will be available to stream on Disney+ starting on March 15 in the UK and March 14 in the US. A shorter version (titled ' Extended Version ') can be rented via various digital outlets.

Taylor Swift ’s Eras Tour concert movie is proving it could be one of the biggest films of the year as it continues to smash box office records.

It has already surpassed $100m (£82m) globally in advance ticket sales, with more than a week to go before it makes its way to the big screen on 13 October in the US .

According to the film’s official distributor, AMC Theatres, this total revenue includes all showtimes, locations and circuits that will be showing the movie, not just AMC.

On its first day of presales, the movie brought in $26m (£20.6m) in ticket revenue.

The movie will screen in 8,500 cinemas across 100 countries and will give fans the opportunity to experience “the most meaningful, electric experience of [Swift’s] life so far”.

A UK release date has not yet been announced. Read more about how to land tickets for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert movie here.

Swift, 33, is currently on break as she nears the end of the North American leg of her massive Eras Tour, which includes a career-spanning set list of a whopping 44 songs.

She is scheduled to play nine more dates of her Eras Tour in the US between 18 October and 4 November before she embarks on the international leg of the tour later that month.

In May 2024, she will make her way to Europe, with her shows in the UK and Ireland beginning in June. Swift will then head back across Europe in July, where she returns to the UK for three additional shows in London’s Wembley Stadium in August.

According to touring industry trade publication Pollstar , the first 22 dates of the Eras Tour brought in more than $300m (£235m), with the full run expected to gross a staggering $1.4bn (£1.1bn) through ticket sales, merchandise and other revenue streams.

The “Anti-Hero” singer is currently in the process of re-recording all of her albums, including Fearless (Taylor’s Version) , Red (Taylor’s Version) and Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), following a 2021 rights dispute with producer Scooter Braun.

1989 (Taylor’s Version) will be her next re-recorded album, releasing on 27 October.

Taylor Swift is one of the biggest names in the music industry. Her 2022 album Midnights marked the tenth entry into her impressive discography and kickstarted the beginning of her Eras tour in March 2023. While on tour across the United States and Mexico, the 12-time Grammy winner pleasantly surprised fans on August 31 with an announcement of the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert movie. Tickets went on sale (and immediately sold out) that same day.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie is clearly the hottest event of this fall season. Here is everything you need to know about it movie before heading to the theater.

What to know about Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (concert movie)

The Eras tour takes audiences on a captivating musical journey spanning all of Taylor Swift’s unique "eras", paying homage to each of her albums. These albums are 2006's Taylor Swift, Fearless in 2008, 2010's Speak Now, Red in 2012, 1989 in 2014, 2017's Reputation, Lover in 2019, 2020's Folkmore and Evermore, and Midnights in 2022. You can expect to witness her perform some of the most celebrated songs within her catalogue including "Love Story", "Blank Space", and "Anti-Hero."

The movie offers audiences the opportunity to experience the wildly anticipated concert they might not have had the chance to see in person. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie filmed the initial trio of performances at SoFi Stadium in early August. As shown in the concert movie, this huge Los Angeles venue drew an astounding crowd of nearly half a million fans.

As the official concert movie for her Eras Tour, Taylor Swift wants fans to have an authentic concert experience when watching the movie in theaters. When she initially announced it on X, Taylor suggested  that fans should dress up in their best Eras attire, wear friendship bracelets and participate in singing and dancing, just like they would at a live show: "The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that it’ll be coming to the big screen soon.  Starting Oct 13th you’ll be able to experience the concert film in theaters in North America! Tickets are on sale now at http:// taylor.lnk.to/TSTheErasTourF ilm … . Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged. 1, 2, 3 LGB!!!! (iykyk)"

Where can I watch Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour?

If you are in the united states:.

AMC theaters have entered into an exclusive agreement with Swift, allowing only their locations in the United States to screen The Eras Tour movie starting October 13. Canadian theaters will screen the movie as well.

Within minutes of theater tickets for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour being released, the AMC app crashed with fans attempting to buy advance tickets for the movie. This marks the second instance this year where Swifties caused a major website to malfunction, with the first being during the sale for the actual Eras Tour itself. AMC is currently promoting exciting additions for your cinematic experience including Eras Tour-themed popcorn buckets for $14.99+tax and drink cups for $11.99+tax. Exclusive cardigans have, unfortunately, still not been announced.

If you are outside of the United States:

On Tuesday 26th September, 2023, tickets for the official Eras tour concert movie were announced in over 100 countries around the world. Taylor Swift made the announcement on Instagram, sharing that the film will be in theaters in those countries from October 13, 2023.

"The tour isn’t the only thing we’re taking worldwide…….. 🌎 Been so excited to tell you all that The Eras Tour concert film is now officially coming to theaters WORLDWIDE on Oct 13! Tickets available now at www.TSTheErasTourFilm.com or on your local theaters website!"

Tickets were available immediately after the Instagram post went live. AMC have struck a deal with sub-distribution partners for more than 7,500 movie theatres in order to show the film in theaters around the world. Across Europe, the concert movie will be playing at Odeon theaters. Odeon also announced a special pricing for the event:

"In a nod to Taylor Swift’s 1989 album and her favourite number, 13, tickets in the UK and Ireland will be priced at £19.89 / €19.89 for adults and £13.13 / €13.13 for children."

Will The Eras Tour be on Netflix?

Despite the concert movie's cinematic release on October 13, there has been no announcement about where to stream Taylor Swift: The Era Tour online. Until further notice, the movie is available exclusively in theaters. However, given the record-breaking demand for tickets, it is very likely fans will be able to watch The Eras Tour on streaming services after its theatrical run ends.

You can choose to get notified by JustWatch when a streaming release date is announced by heading to Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour and hitting the notification bell.

How long is Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour?

While an Eras Tour concert typically lasts over three hours on average, the official length of the concert movie is 2 hours and 40 minutes. This makes it much longer than previous Taylor Swift concert movies, such as Taylor Swift: Reputation Stadium Tour which is 2 hours and 5 mins.

Who is the director of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour?

Grammy-nominated Sam Wrench is the director of the upcoming concert movie. He earned the coveted nomination for directing Billie Eilish Live At The O2 in 2023. Wrench is best known for his ability in capturing the electrifying essence of a live music event, having also worked on  Lizzo: Live in Concert and BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage - LA . He boasts an impressive resume filled with projects from some of the biggest names in the industry including Mary J. Blige, The Weeknd, Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.

What records did Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour break?

Taylor Swift just keeps adding to her impressive list of record-breaking achievements. The Eras Tour movie shattered the record for the most money made from advance ticket sales in a single day at AMC Theaters, raking in a whopping $26 million. This surpasses the previous record-holder, 2021's  Spider-Man: No Way Home , by $10 million. Fans achieved this record-breaking feat in just three hours, beating  Avengers: Endgame 's record for the most tickets sold within the first 24 hours.

The Eras Tour movie is expected to have an incredible opening weekend, with a projected range of $100-125 million. The top five movies for the year's opening weekends include Barbie , The Super Mario Bros. Movie , Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse , Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania . These range between between $162 million to $106 million, which means the upcoming concert movie has the potential to have one of the best opening weekends of 2023.

Furthermore, the sudden announcement of the movie's release date caused other titles to change their release dates. The Exorcist: Believer , originally slated for the same day, will now premiere a week earlier. Producer Jason Blum playfully tweeted, "Look what you made me do. The Exorcist: Believer moves to 10/6/23.”

What are the other Taylor Swift concert movies?

For those who simply cannot calm down before the release of the movie, there have been a number of projects featuring exclusive access to Swift’s concerts that are available to watch right now. Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert film is coming home in December with 3 bonus songs

The record-breaking doc will be available to stream on the pop superstar's birthday.

In typical mastermind fashion, Taylor Swift is celebrating her birthday with a gift for her fans.

The pop sensation announced on Monday that her Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour concert film will be available to rent on VOD starting Dec 13 — and just as fans hoped, it will include three of the songs cut from the original theatrical release.

“Well, so, basically I have a birthday coming up and I was thinking a fun way to celebrate the year we’ve had together would be to make The Eras Tour Concert Film available for you to watch at home!” Swift wrote across her social media accounts. “Very happy to be able to tell you that the extended version of the film including ‘Wildest Dreams,’ ‘The Archer’ and ‘Long Live’ will be available to rent on demand in the US, Canada & additional countries to be announced soon starting on … you guessed it, December 13.”

The original omission of several songs from the tour’s setlist certainly earned a reaction from Swift’s fanbase when the movie premiered in October. But those used to solving Swift’s puzzles correctly guessed that the concert film — which already clocks in at 2 hours and 45 minutes — would be extended once available for home viewing. That said, not all of the cut songs from the concert are being featured. Nightly inclusion “Cardigan” won’t factor into the longer version, nor will “No Body No Crime,” despite Swift performing the track with Haim at the L.A. shows filmed for the movie.

News of the home release comes two months after the concert film debuted in theaters, and hours after Swift wrapped on 2023 dates for her ongoing global Eras Tour. The “Cruel Summer” singer played her final show in Sao Paulo Brazil on Sunday night and will next take to the stage on Feb. 7 in Tokyo.

In the meantime, fans can continue singing along in the privacy of their living rooms when the film arrives on streaming next month where it will undoubtedly find a new record to shatter. Swift’s Eras Tour already made waves by becoming the first concert film in history to cross the $100 million mark domestically, and has since cleared $165 million in North America, putting it above $231 million globally. And all of that without "Wildest Dreams"!

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie — release date and everything we know about the Taylor Swift concert movie

The biggest music tour in the world, Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, comes to the big screen.

Taylor Swift performing in Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour

Taylor Swift has already been selling out arenas with her Eras Tour, but now she's selling out movie theaters as well, as a brand new concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour , is here and looks to be one of the biggest movies of the rest of 2023 .

With tickets to the Eras Tour not easy to come by, it should be of little surprise that shortly after Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie was announced, fans started buying tickets to get to experience the concert in some way.

Here is everything you need to know about the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour release date

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour is going to premiere exclusively in movie theaters around the world on Thursday, October 12,

The movie had previously been set to premiere on Friday, October 13 (Swift's favorite number is 13), but it was announced there would be shows on October 12, like most movies that have early Thursday screenings before their Friday release.

Additional countries are going to get the movie on November 3.

A post shared by Taylor Swift (@taylorswift) A photo posted by on

The European addition was a bit of a surprise considering Swift doesn't begin her European leg of the tour until 2024. So international fans can catch the concert early on the big screen.

It's also worth mentioning that Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour is additionally going to play on the biggest screens, as IMAX showings are planned at various locations where available. To find out more and when and where you can watch the concert film, visit the movie's website .

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour trailer

Watch the trailer for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour directly below, featuring quotes from critics that praise the concert as "the most impressive stadium tour ever conceived."

When was the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie filmed?

Reports indicate that the concert movie was filmed over Swift's three nights performing at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles between August 3-5.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour songs

The concept of the Eras Tour is that it sees Swift performing songs from her entire career to date in one concert. While some of her songs change depending on the night, these are the songs that are most likely going to be featured in the concert film:

  • "Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince"
  • "Cruel Summer"
  • "You Need to Calm Down"
  • "The Archer"
  • "You Belong With Me"
  • "Love Story"
  • "'Tis the Damn Season"
  • "Champagne Problems"
  • "Tolerate It"
  • "Ready for It?"
  • "Don’t Blame Me"
  • "Look What You Made Me Do"
  • "Enchanted"
  • "Long Live"
  • "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"
  • "I Knew You Were Trouble"
  • "All Too Well"
  • "Invisible String"
  • "The Last Great American Dynasty"
  • "Illicit Affairs"
  • "My Tears Ricochet"
  • "Blank Space"
  • "Shake It Off"
  • "Wildest Dreams"
  • "Bad Blood"
  • "Lavender Haze"
  • "Anti-Hero"
  • "Midnight Rain"
  • "Vigilante Shit"
  • "Bejeweled"
  • "Mastermind"

Swift's tour performances also usually include a surprise song, so it's possible the movie will as well. Billboard listed the surprise songs that Swift performed during her LA concerts, which included "I Can See You," "Maroon," "Our Song," "You Are in Love," "Death by a Thousand Cuts" and "You're on Your Own, Kid." They also note that this was her second time performing "Our Song" as a surprise after she promised she would not repeat any surprise songs not from her Midnight album. Take that as you will.

How long is Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour?

It's been a well-reported fact that Swift's Era Tours shows pretty much consistently exceed three hours. So how long will the concert film version of her show be?

While it doesn't quite hit the three-hour mark, it comes in at a still epic two hours and 45 minutes. It's possible that means some of the songs listed above may be cut. However, the time difference could be from editing down Swift's costume changes throughout the shows.

This may be a rare instance where movie fans won't be complaining about movie's getting longer , perhaps even wanting more from the concert film.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour director

Sam Wrench is the director of the Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie. He is very familiar with directing concert films, with his past credits including:

  • Mary J. Blige: The London Sessions
  • Blur: New World Towers
  • Mumford & Sons: We Wrote This Yesterday

‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ Movie: Tickets, Release Dates, Premiere & Where To Watch

By Patrick Hipes , Tom Tapp

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tout

Taylor Swift has the highest-grossing concert tour of the year, and she’s set out to conquer movie theaters, as well. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour , which opened Thursday , has already sold more than $100 million in advance ticket sales in 8,500 theaters across 100 countries around the world. It could make $107 million in the U.S. alone by the end of the first weekend, and Swift gets to keep about 60% of that .

How was the world premiere?

Swift watched the feature with friends and fans in the AMC Grove’s Dolby auditorium alongside Garner. The Dolby venue was her last stop after introducing the movie in 13 of the 14 AMC auditoriums at The Grove; 13 being her lucky number.

“Let me preface this by saying, I’ve always had fun doing this,” the 12x Grammy winner told the crowd, “I can’t believe music is my career. That’s crazy to me. I’ve always loved it.”

But, she continued, “I’ve never had a fraction of the amount of fun I had on the  Eras Tour  before — ever.”

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Movie Hits New Milestone

Taylor Swift has again proven that she's a pop culture icon after hitting another impressive milestone with her Eras Tour movie.

Swift embarked on the juggernaut global venture in March 2023 and eventually released a concert movie of it—titled Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour —which smashed box office records after its release in October.

It made $92 million in its first weekend and became the highest-grossing domestic concert film of all time just on those opening days. It also made $26 million on the first day of advanced ticket sales . The previous record of $16.9 million was held by Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021 .

Now it has surpassed $260 million at the box office, grossing $261,656,269 worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo.

Domestically it has made $180,756,269, which is 69.1 percent of the total, and internationally it has raked in $80,900,000, accounting for 30.9 percent.

Newsweek emailed Swift's publicist for comment Wednesday.

The concert movie was shown in AMC , Cinemark and Regal cinemas in the U.S. and was also shown in Canada and Mexico. AMC previously confirmed that tickets for the Eras Tour movie were the highest advance sales in the company's 103-year history.

The entertainment company had already planned to run four showtimes per day on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, but then said "to accommodate this extraordinary demand... AMC already is adding additional auditoriums to play the concert film at numerous theaters throughout the United States."

Now fans can stream the Eras Tour movie online through platforms such as Amazon Prime, Disney+ and Apple TV depending on their location.

This year has already been huge for Swift, who not only became the first person to win Album of the Year four times at the Grammys in February but in January, she became the first person to have five albums each with over 7 billion streams on Spotify.

Swift's Eras Tour previously broke the Guinness World Record for the highest-grossing tour of all time. The 34-year-old singer-songwriter's dates began in March 2023 and are set to conclude in December 2024 after a total of 152 shows worldwide.

The tour's last concert was a sold-out show at the 55,000-seat National Stadium in Singapore on March 9. Swift is taking an extended break before her next concert, in France in May.

"We got to play 6 shows in Singapore for the most wonderful crowds — just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who traveled and put so much effort into being at our shows," Swift wrote on Instagram on March 10.

"What an unforgettable way to end this leg of the tour!! See you in May when we get back to the Eras Tour!! In the meantime, I've got an album to release."

Swift's success this year doesn't end there as she sent fans into a frenzy by releasing her highly anticipated album, The Tortured Poets Department (TTPD) on April 19.

Two hours after TTPD dropped, Swift revealed the ultimate bombshell to her legions of fans: she was releasing a secret double album. The second part includes 15 extra songs, bringing the total of newly released tracks to 31.

Within hours, TTPD started smashing streaming records, including becoming Spotify's most-streamed album in one day. TTPD got 300 million streams in 24 hours, Spotify revealed on its social media.

This broke the previous record that Swift also held with her album Midnights which achieved the feat of 185 million listens in a day.
