Stop 1: Simpson Bay (Pass By)

The Pirate Tour trip provides a boat excursion that is not just sightseeing the island of St.Maarten and Saint Martin, we also bring you to Creole Rock and Tintamarre, only reachable by boat.  There you will get the opportunity to sun on the white sand beach or strap on your fins and mask to snorkel with the green and hawksbill turtles native to this Caribbean paradise.  Once hunted close to extinction, Tintamarre is now part of the St.Martin Nature Reserve and we ask that you not “ride the turtle” as we wish to preserve the beauty and serenity of the area.  Fins, Mask and Snorkel are supplied by the boat but feel free to bring your own if you have the equipment.

Tour Starts

CRUISE SHIP PASSENGERS : The tour start just 15 min walking from the cruise ship at Bobby’s Marina which is the most convenient location for cruise ship passengers.

Ready to Go

Once all guests are confirmed on board the tour heads for the Simpson Bay Bridge on the Dutch side of the island into the largest lagoon in the Caribbean. Here you will see the Mega Yachts lined up on show and the villas on the lagoon.

Lagoon Stop

A quick tour of the lagoon stops at Marigot (French side capital) where there is a photo opportunity of the cafes that line the Marina Royale.

French Bridge

From here we pass under the French side Bridge to the opposite side of Marigot with all the private sailing boats moored in the Bay and the Historic Fort Louis and French Flag overlooking the town.e.

Friars Bay & Happy Bay

It’s a short cruise to Friars Bay and Happy Bay, two distinctly different bays right next to each other, one a tourist hotspot, famous on the island for its full moon parties, the other abandoned and untouched.

Tintamarre Island

Next we make a course for Tintamarre Island. This island is part of the marine reserve and a quick stop here for some swimming with sea turtles is an experience to never forget. To note is that the water here is always calm and perfect for those a bit nervous about swimming.

Creole Rock

Back to the undersea world. Next on the trip is Creole Rock, two minutes in the middle of the Bay of Grand Case, the marine reserves best kept secret. Shallow water and sea life abound. This is THE spot to snorkel on the island.

After leaving Creole Rock we head around the island, past old ruins from the 95 hurricane, Bay Rouge with its red rock cliffs, Terre Basse (St Martins own Hollywood) with its mansions on the cliffs to arrive at Long Bay and La Samanna Resort. Feed the fish in the turquoise water while seeing if you can spot one of the many celebrities that chill on the golden sands of this exclusive resort.

Last but not least. Many have seen the videos of people watching the airlines landing at St Maartens famous Princess Juliana Airport but not many get to see a huge aircraft land directly overhead… from the sea! Make sure you have your cameras ready to prove to your friends that you did it!

Back to Simpson Bay or Philipsburg

The final leg. After that rush it’s a short cruise back around Simpson Bay, where the Captain will take you past the larger Mega Yachts (over 150ft) that will not fit in the lagoon, before arriving back at Bobby’s Marine or Simpson Bay

Nude cruise to set sail from Florida next year: Here are the starting costs, itinerary

The "Big Nude Boat" cruise, which allows passengers to bare all − yes, even at the buffet − is set to sail from Florida next year.

The "11-day adventure" to the Caribbean is set for the first two weeks of February on the Norwegian Pearl, according to the Bare Necessities Tour & Travel website.

"Bare Necessities’ newest nude cruise is a private island double-dip with a brand new travel partner!" the company wrote on its website.

The trip which embarks from Miami, includes "an exclusive visit to an idyllic private island" in The Bahamas as well a another exclusive stop on the way back to the Port of Miami.

"Two opportunities to enjoy a new slice of Bare-adise, coupled with a beautiful selection of Eastern Caribbean island stops, will make this a can’t miss Big Nude Boat experience," the travel company posted.

Guests are encouraged to park their bare behinds on towels provided on board in areas including the pool deck and the buffet area, according to the website.

"Passengers can easily follow our rule on nudist etiquette by always placing a towel down before sitting," it reads. "Remember to pack a swimsuit; not all excursions are clothing optional."

An 11-day nude cruise is scheduled to set sail from Miami to the Caribbean next February — and you won’t even need an overstuffed suitcase.

Bare Necessities is partnering with Norwegian Cruise Line for the flesh-flashing event, which will see clothing-averse customers travel on board the Norwegian Pearl.

The 968-foot vessel, which can accommodate up to 2,300 passengers, has been renamed “The Big Nude Boat” for the journey.

“As always, it’s our pleasure to provide you with the luxury of deciding what NOT to wear,” a message on the Bare Necessities site reads.

The cruise will make stops in the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and St. Maarten, but customers will have to cover up if they disembark the ship to do any sightseeing.

Passengers are also subject to strict rules on board — most notably, they will be required to wear clothing while inside the vessel’s indoor dining rooms.

However, there will be a “large buffet area for nude outdoor dining.”

In order to maintain hygiene, nudists will also need to put a towel down before sitting “in the stateroom, pool deck and buffet area” if they’re baring their bottoms.

Bare Necessities also makes clear that “fondling or inappropriate touching is prohibited.”

Prices for the nude cruise start at around $2,000, but cashed-up nudists can fork out upwards of $33,000 for a deluxe three-bedroom villa.

Bare Necessities has already chartered more than 75 nude cruises in the past, with one prior passenger speaking out about the experience in a recent Reddit post.

“Cruises seem to be for people who like to eat and lie around, so there were a lot of large people,” the 67-year-old man admitted.

“Also, most people don’t seem to be comfortable being nude in public until later in life so the crowd was older. I’d say 20% attractive, 20% average, 60% unattractive,” he added.

Bare Necessities Tour & Travel (a nudism-focused travel company) has announced an 11-day Caribbean cruise for nudists on Norwegian Pearl.

Although the cruise represents a new partnership with Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), the company has chartered over 75 full-ship nude and clothing-optional cruises since 1990.

Norwegian Pearl has a maximum capacity of 2,394 guests with staterooms spread across seven decks. The ship offers 16 dining venues, 14 bars and lounges, a casino, and a spa, so guests will have ample opportunities to relax and socialize with people with shared interests.

In addition to the onboard entertainment on the ship, Bare Necessities typically hosts a passenger talent show and themed events.

The ship has a range of staterooms, including accommodations in The Haven , the ship-within-a-ship concept pioneered by NCL. Upscale amenities at this luxury enclave include 24-hour butler service, concierge services, keycard access, and a private sundeck.

Prices for the cruise, based on double occupancy, start at around $2000 per person and go up to more than $30,000 for a three-bedroom Garden Villa in The Haven.

FAQs on the Bare Necessities website explicitly states that clothing will be required while docked at port, in the main and specialty dining rooms, and during the Captain’s reception. Crew members are clothed throughout the cruise and all guests must be 21 years and older.

So, what do you pack in a carry-on for a nude cruise?

At a minimum, you’ll need lots of sunscreen, a swimsuit for excursions, and appropriate attire for the dining rooms.

'Big Nude Boat' Cruise Lets Passengers Cruise to The Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and St. Maarten Fully Nude

Nudist travel company Bare Necessities is partnering with Norwegian Cruise Line for an 11-day "Big Nude Boat" cruise in February 2025. The cruise will sail from Miami to destinations like The Bahamas, Puerto Rico, and St. Maarten aboard the Norwegian Pearl ship. Cabin prices start at $2,000 and go up to more than $33,000 for a three-bedroom villa with a capacity for 2,300 passengers. Amenities include outdoor nude dining areas but dining rooms require clothing. Towels must be used in public seating areas. Bare Necessities has previously chartered over 75 full-ship nude cruises.

Why did the nudist refuse sunscreen? Well — obviously he didn’t want to be caught overdressed.

But fear not, for such a dilemma is nonexistent aboard the Big Nude Boat, poised to depart from Miami, Florida, in 2025.

Embracing the ethos of “less is more,” this seafaring Caribbean adventure will offer an escape from the constraints of clothing during an 11-day journey that runs from Feb. 3 through Feb. 14, 2025.

Bare Necessities, the nude cruise specialists, have organized dozens of similar cruises in the past. But now they’re teaming up with Norwegian Cruise Line, and for the first time, the Big Nude Boat will sail out of Miami.

Passengers will sail aboard the Norwegian Pearl, a 2,300-passenger ship that promises entertainment, open deck space and multiple dining options, including a large nude outdoor dining area, for a culinary experience with an extra side of cheekiness.

Ports of call include the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, San Maarten, Dominica, St. Lucia and Martinique — with plenty of “nude days at sea” thrown in for good measure.

There are a few rules to follow, for example, according to the company website: Lingerie, fetish-wear and excessive genital jewelry are not appropriate. Further, bathrobes are not permitted in the dining room and guests must always sit on a towel or some article of clothing when bare bottomed.

Pricing ranges per person from $2,000 for an inside cabin to $33,155 for a three-bedroom garden villa.

According to the Bare Necessities Tour & Travel website , the company has been “working to break down the barriers against social nudity and make clothing optional vacationing a viable and acceptable option for all” for more than three decades, adding, “We support the belief that sexuality is not a state of undress, but rather, a state of mind.”
