Yes! We love hosting single traveler’s and our Kelowna wine tour reservations team will be happy to help.  Online reservations are not available for single traveler’s, since we require a minimum of two people to make a reservation through our booking platform.   Please call or text us at 250-878-6701 and we can usually find a seat on a tour for you to join!

Please note, most single traveler’s that wish to join our wine tours are located in the downtown Kelowna core area.  If you are located elsewhere, you may be asked to meet us at a more convenient location or at the first winery on the tour.

Yes! Our brand is loud and proud and pink after all! We welcome bachelor and bachelorette groups and have dedicated Kelowna bachelorette wine tour packages that include some “extra perks” to make sure the day is memorable and awesome.  All our Bachelorette wine tour packages include several bottles of sparkling wine, a dedicated vineyard toast and a Bluetooth Karaoke mic for you and your crew to rock it in the van!  For details on our Kelowna Bachelorette Wine Tours please visit this page.

Yes! our Kelowna wine tours operate rain or shine.  Wine tastings are usually offered outdoors in the summer months and indoors during the shoulder season.  In the case of rain or inclement weather during the summer, wineries will move your tasting indoors or beneath covered patios. Rainy days are always a great time to tour.

No. The consumption of alcohol in motor vehicles in British Columbia is against the law. We encourage you to have a Vividly awesome time, but please be aware of local laws, and safety is paramount.  Your Vivid tour guide will go over the policies at the beginning of your tour to make sure you are aware of what is and what is not allowed.  Staying safe and above board is key to having a successful Kelowna wine tour experience.

Tours are available to reserve online year round with our live availability always showing. We offer Kelowna wine tours as well as wine tours in Penticton, Oliver, Osoyoos and the Naramata Bench for groups of 2-14 guests.  With our large fleet of 12 wine tour vans we can accommodate group sizes up to 140 people.  For large group or corporate wine tour reservations, please contact us for more information and a personalized quote.  While large groups travel separately to and from the wineries, all tastings will occur as one large group to ensure you’re with your crew!

With more than 50 wineries located within a 20 minute drive of the downtown area, Penticton is an ideal place to go wine touring.

Get the most of your experience by taking a Penticton wine tour. As well as offering the chance to gain some local, insider knowledge, it also means that no one has to drive!

With so many wineries in this area, there are also a lot of wine tour companies. As regular visitors to the wineries, we see and interact with these Penticton wine tour companies reasonably often. Some wineries have even shared their preference for specific tour operators with us!

Read on to discover my recommendations for the best Penticton wine tours, so you can choose the best fit for your budget and personal preferences.

Penticton wine tours: an overview

The Naramata Bench is the destination for most Penticton wine tours, with a third of this wine region located within city limits. You’ll be spoiled for choice here, with the Bench being home to the highest concentration of boutique wineries anywhere in British Columbia.

But that’s not the only reason to visit. It’s also absolutely gorgeous, with the elevated vineyards gently sloping down to the sparkling waters of Okanagan Lake, which is backdropped by rugged mountains. It’s a little piece of heaven right here in British Columbia.

In this post, I’ll be focusing on Penticton wine tours to the Naramata Bench only. But most of the feature wine tour operators also offer excursions to other local wine regions, as described below.

Other local wine regions

Situated on the other side of Okanagan Lake, Summerland is another popular Penticton wine tour destination. This region features more than a dozen boutique wineries and has a more rustic ambience than the Naramata Bench.

Looking south of Penticton, there is a scattering of wineries on both sides of Skaha Lake . Continuing beyond Okanagan Falls , this small community hosts an elegant collection of wineries as well. This underrated region is less popular for Penticton wine tours at the current time but I don’t think that will last long!

The Similkameen Valley is even lesser known, despite grapes being grown in this area for decades. This pristine stretch of vineyards near Keremeos is surrounded by rugged mountains.

The Oliver and Osoyoos area receives the hottest temperatures of all wine regions in the Okanagan Valley, resulting in the most robust red wines. The drive from Penticton is relatively long (minimum 45 minutes one-way) but for red wine fans, it’ll be more than worth the time.

The rapper and record producer will begin their “We Trust You Tour” on July 30 in Kansas City, Mo. and will wrap up on Sept. 9 in Vancouver, BC .

While on tour, the duo will perform at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Aug. 15 .

The joint tour will be in support of their latest collaborations “We Don’t Trust You” and “We Still Don’t Trust You,” which was released on April 12.
