ATLANTA/May 22, 2023 – ​ Comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias will be performing at the award-winning State Farm Arena on October 19, 2023 . This is part of his all new 2023 Gabriel Iglesias: Don’t Worry Be Fluffy Tour. ​Tickets can be purchased at Fluffyguy.com or at Ticketmaster.com starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 25th.

Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias is one of the world’s most successful stand-up comedians. He recently became the second highest grossing touring comedian and is one of the most watched comedians on YouTube with over 1.1 billion views and over 25 million fans on social media. 

Iglesias has been included in The Hollywood Reporter’s “Top 40 Comedy Players” issue alongside comedy giants Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Lorne Michaels. Last year he also was honored with the cover of Variety’s comedy issue. The comedian has had the distinct honor of being one of the few to headline and sell-out Madison Square Garden in New York, Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and The Sydney Opera House in Australia. 

On TV, Iglesias is the star and executive producer of the Netflix original comedy series,  Mr. Iglesias , which is currently streaming 3 seasons. Iglesias plays a good-natured public high school teacher who works at his alma mater. He takes on teaching gifted but misfit kids to not only save them from being “counseled out” by a bully bureaucrat Assistant Principal, but also to help them unlock their full potential. In 2020, the show won best Primetime Comedy at The Imagen Awards, which recognizes positive portrayals of Latinx actors/actresses in the entertainment industry.

In addition to his comedy series, Iglesias penned a deal with Netflix to release two stand-up comedy specials. The first, titled  One Show Fits All , was filmed in front of a sold-out audience at the Toyota Center in Houston and debuted in January 2019. The second,  Stadium Fluffy  premiered on October 18 th  and was taped in front of a crowd of 55,000 fans at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, where Iglesias made history as the first comedian to perform at and sellout the largest MLB stadium in the US. 

Both of these specials are follow-ups to his highly successful 2016 special,  I’m Sorry For What I Said When I Was   Hungry,  which was filmed   at the Allstate Arena in Chicago to two sold-out shows with a total of 20,000 fans in attendance.

Up next, Iglesias will co-star Tim Allen in the second season of Disney+’s  The Santa Clauses.  Iglesias will play Kris Kringle, the owner and operator of a Christmas-themed amusement park called Santaland. Sweet, happy, and perpetually-optimistic, Kris is a warm, generous soul who is determined to keep his struggling theme park afloat. However, his belief in Santa and love for all things Christmas may not be enough. 

Feature film credits include co-starring roles in  Magic Mike ,  Magic Mike XXL  and  A Haunted House 2 . Gabriel’s voice has been heard in many animated films including the recent  Space Jam: A New Legacy  as “Speedy Gonzales” streaming on HBOMAX. In 2017, Iglesias voiced the role of “Head Clerk” in Pixar’s Academy Award nominated animated film  Coco . He also voiced “Babo” in  Ugly Dolls , “Rufus the Dog” in Sony’s Golden Globe nominated animated holiday film  The Star  and “Cuatro” in Fox 20th Century Film’s Academy Award nominated animated film  Ferdinand . Gabriel is one of a handful of comedians with a theatrically released stand-up concert comedy film,  TheFluffy Movie.

On the small screen,  Fluffy’s Food Adventures,  a non-scripted comedic docu-follow series completed a 3-season run on FUSE TV in 2017. Gabriel was a recurring guest star on the ABC sitcom  Cristela , and also guest-starred in an episode of ABC’s hit comedy  Modern Family.  Comedy Central aired Iglesias’ hit series  Stand-Up Revolution  for 3 seasons. Comedy Central also aired  Gabriel Iglesias: Aloha Fluffy  in an unprecedented two-night comedy special to over 15 million viewers. The special was a follow-up to his previous DVD specials,  Hot & Fluffy  and  I’m Not Fat...I’m Fluffy , which have sold millions of copies. 

Gabriel Iglesias is the youngest of six children, raised by a single mother in Long Beach, CA. It was during his childhood that he developed a strong sense of humor to deal with the obstacles he faced. Gabriel Iglesias has unleashed another packed set of standup dates for 2023, and tickets to the “Don’t Worry Be Fluffy” tour will reach all areas of the US and more through December. Following his last globe-trotting trek, “Gabriel ‘Fluffy’ Iglesias Back On Tour,” as well as his sold-out Dodger Stadium show , the California comedian looks poised to hit even bigger heights this year.

What Is Gabriel Iglesias’ Next Tour?

Iglesias has several live dates already on the books for this summer, including shows in Denver, Baton Rouge, and Cincinnati. In September, he’ll host a series of two-a-day’s in Atlantic City, New Jersey; Mashantucket, Connecticut; and more before jetting to Europe for stops in Geneva, Lisbon, Berlin, and Dublin. He’ll conclude his European trek at The O2 in London on October 6th.

The “Don’t Worry Be Fluffy” tour kicks off in Atlanta on October 19th, followed by sets in Jacksonville, Orlando, and Chicago during the first week. After settling in the Midwest for the end of October, Iglesias opens November in Eugene, Oregon, and continues his West Coast journey to Portland and Kennewick, Washington. He wraps the tour after six California shows between Fresno, Bakersfield, Stockton, Oakland, San Jose, and the final night in Ontario on November 25th.

He takes on teaching gifted but misfit kids to not only save them from being “counseled out” by a bully bureaucrat Assistant Principal, but also to help them unlock their full potential. Comedian Gabriel Iglesias hints at permanent move to San Antonio during Frost Bank Center show

C omedian Gabriel Iglesias, who has already proclaimed the Alamo City his “home away from home,” hinted at his San Antonio show Saturday that a permanent move could be in the works. 

Iglesias, better known by fans as “Fluffy,” took the stage at Frost Bank Center Saturday night on the “Don’t Worry be Fluffy” tour. As the show wrapped up, the comedian once again praised San Antonio and suggested that it could become his permanent home. 

“There is no question, and there should never be any question about the love I have for the 210,” he said in a video posted by Madalyn Mendoza . “I told you earlier tonight, I sold my house.” 

As fans cheered in the audience, Iglesias had final parting words for Alamo City supporters: “All I gotta say is, I’ll see you at Buc-ee’s.”

The jokester stayed in San Antonio in 2021 to  film a Netflix special , calling the city his favorite to perform in and the best stop for a good bite to eat. Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant is among Iglesias’ top places to chow down, he’s said repeatedly . 

He got his start at the Latino Laugh Festivals in the 90s and still enjoys meeting up in San Antonio with fellow comedian and friend Rick Gutierrez.

Gabriel Iglesias jokingly claims he's why Dodgers could afford Shohei Ohtani

Iglesias will perform three shows from may 3-5 at agua caliente casino in rancho mirage as part of his 'don't worry, be fluffy' tour..

Gabriel Iglesias made history in 2022 as the first comedian to sell out Dodger Stadium with two sold-out shows. Two years later, he described the experience as "being hugged by 45,000 people."

At the start of the first show, just 30 seconds in, Iglesias was moved to tears by the overwhelming ovation he received from the audience. He went beyond his contractual obligations and was on stage for nearly three hours. This resulted in a hefty fine that Iglesias has not made public.

"I'm the reason why the Dodgers could afford (pitcher) Shohei Ohtani," Iglesias said.

Before the shows, Iglesias was awarded certificates and proclamations for his career accomplishments in comedy, film, and for selling out the stadium by California state officials and Los Angeles city and county officials. The performances were recorded for the Netflix special "Stadium Fluffy."

Afterwards, he spent time doing shots with his friends and reminiscing about the long journey that led him to perform at Dodger Stadium. The experience made him question how much further he could take his stand-up comedy performances, and whether it was time for him to retire from live performances.

"I felt like I jumped the shark. I'm very goal driven and anytime I do specials or tours, there has to be an outcome and something I'm working towards. That was hard. I love comedy and doing stand-up, so it was one of those things where I had a few months of back and forth, and I talked about retirement," Iglesias said.

Iglesias hasn't retired yet. He's performing three shows from May 3-5 at Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage as part of his "Don't Worry, Be Fluffy" tour.

'I'm not here to offend, I'm here to entertain'

Iglesias has been making audiences laugh since his debut on the Nickelodeon show "All That" in 2000. Even though he was disqualified during the fourth season of the comedy competition series "Last Comic Standing," he has continued to bring people together through his humor.

He avoids topics such as politics, religion, and sports, but he is still able to find humor in race and culture without being offensive, insensitive, or racist.

At the beginning of his live shows, he asks the audience if anyone has never heard of him, and occasionally a few hands go up in the arena.

"I say sorry to them because they don't know what they signed up for," Iglesias said. "If you've seen the shows, you know where my head is at, you where my heart is at, we're going to have a good time and I'm going to push the envelope a bit. Remember — I'm not here to offend, I'm here to entertain," Iglesias said.

Despite his success, he continues to dress casually in sweatpants and t-shirts and chooses to reside in Whittier against the advice of some of his acquaintances. This approach makes him accessible to his fans.

"I tell people 'I'm not that Gabriel Iglesias, I'm the one you run into at the drive-thru. People like that, and I feel like they see me and think 'He's one of of us.' I've never felt like I'm on the other side of that and always feel close to people," Iglesias said. "There's certain things I do and I haven't been able to break those habits. Don't get me wrong, there's access and other things, but I feel like staying connected to people and that's the only way they keep you around, not the other way around."

He once lost a significant amount of weight

One relatable subject Iglesias has made light of for several years is his weight. In his 2014 special "The Fluffy Movie," Iglesias said he weighed over 400lbs and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. He joked about being a high risk for COVID-19 during "Stadium Fluffy," comparing the virus to being matched with someone on the dating app Tinder and getting the vaccine as soon as it became available.

During the 2010s, Iglesias lost 70lbs while doing DDP Yoga, the cardio fitness yoga method created by former pro wrestler Diamond Dallas Page, who described the program during a 2017 interview as "yoga for people who wouldn't be caught doing yoga." Iglesias put weight back on and Page was shown in a 2019 video confronting him in an IHOP eating Oreo pancakes .

Iglesias said he's still in touch with Page and recently did some of the original workout routines.

"(Page) always calls me when I'm in a drive-thru and I swear to God, he can see it. It's the funniest thing and I'm like 'I'm not answering this phone right now because he's going to hear them ask me 'Do you want ketchup and napkins?' He's an incredible person and very intense. I guess that's part of it, but he has a huge heart and helped so many people. I'm glad he took the time to help out when I really needed it," Iglesias said.

Whenever he performs, he usually has only a few hours to spare before soundcheck and getting on stage, but he always tries to find a local restaurant that embodies the "flavor of the city."

"It's crazy because people say 'You've been everywhere.' Yeah, but never for more than 5 minutes. It's hard and I would love to have more time enjoying these amazing places, but now I just want to get something to eat and take a couple of selfies," Iglesias said.

Get ready to laugh: Comedian Gabriel Iglesias to perform at the Erie County Fair

HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW) — One of the country's most successful stand-up comedians is bringing his tour to the "12 best days of summer."

Gabriel Iglesias, known to fans as "Fluffy," will perform at the Erie County Fair on August 14 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale June 7, at 10 a.m. on the fair's website .

Members of the Erie County Agricultural Society can access tickets one day earlier, on June 6. To become a member, visit the fair's membership page before May 31.

Preferred seats are $85, reserved seats are $73.70 and general admission seats are $51.10. Tickets can only be purchased online.

All tickets purchased for a show at the grandstand will include admission to the fair on the day of the show.

Gabriel iglesias & family get stuck on 'cars' ride at disney park, gabriel iglesias stuck on a socal freeway ... inside disney theme park.

Gabriel Iglesias needed roadside assistance near Radiator Springs ... 'cause Fluffy got stuck on Disney's "Cars" ride -- and had to sweat it out in the hot SoCal sun.

The stand-up comedian tells TMZ ... he hit up California Adventure Tuesday in Anaheim, CA with his family, and the group decided to go for a quick spin on Radiator Spring Racers -- a high-speed roller coaster based on the Pixar movie "Cars."

Welp, it didn't move quite so quickly this time around ... 'cause Gabriel tells us his car got stuck during the fast-moving final stretch of the ride -- and he's got the receipts to prove it.

Check out the vid of Gabe and his fam ... the group's hanging out -- no shade anywhere in sight, hot sun beating down on them -- but, Iglesias is still crackin' jokes and keeping morale high.

GI tells us the fam sat there for about 20 minutes before an employee finally got them out of the pit and back into the race ... though they had to leg it to the exit.

We're told the ride was down for about 45 minutes ... but, when it did come back up, the Iglesias clan was the first group on the ride. No word on what caused it to break down.

Gabriel says he's a big fan of the movie "Cars" and loves the ride ... so, he's got no hard feelings over yesterday's delay.

As for the ride itself ... a tow truck like Mater might've come in handy!!!
