David Spadeâs first-ever Netflix stand-up special âNothing Personalâ drops on April 26.
The special, full of Spadeâs trademark smart-aleck shtick, covers âthe humiliations of doctor visits, falling for clickbait and the one selfie he can never get right.â
After that momentous comedic achievement, itâs back to the road for the former âBachelor in Paradiseâ host/âSNLâ cast member who will resume his nationwide âCatch Me Insideâ tour .
In addition to the tour, Spade is set to team up with his âFly On The Wallâ podcast co-host Dana Carvey for a live show at the first annual Netflix Is A Joke Festival in Los Angeles on May 3.

Emmy and Golden Globe Nominee, David Spade announced he will bring his Catch Me Inside tour across the U.S. in 2022 , including a stop in Cincinnati, OH at Taft Theatre on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
ABOUT DAVID SPADE
Nominated in 1999 for an Emmy Award for his memorable role as Dennis Finch, the wise-cracking, power-hungry assistant on âJust Shoot Me,â David Spade became a household favorite during his five-year stint as a cast member on NBCâs âSaturday Night Live.â He was also nominated for a Golden Globe in 2000 and an American Comedy Award in 1999 for his work on NBCâs âJust Shoot Me.â Spade continues to be a box office draw and continues to do stand-up tours nationwide.
Last year, Spade starred in the Netflix original comedy, THE WRONG MISSY, which was the number one movie on Netflix in the days following its release on May 13 th , 2020. The film was also announced as the eighth most watched Netflix original movie in the companyâs history. That same year, Spade also hosted his own late-night series âLights Out with David Spadeâ on Comedy Central. The series followed âThe Daily Showâ at 11:30PM and featured Spadeâs signature take on pop culture news of the day while incorporating field segments that mirror his popular Instagram stories.
In July 2018, Spade released âA Polaroid Guy in a Snapchat Worldâ exclusively on Audible. The audio book was a New York Times best-seller and was well received by critics and fans. Spade was also seen in the Netflix original comedy, FATHER OF THE YEAR which was one of the highest streamed films globally on Netflix. Prior to that, Spade starred in the Netflix original comedy THE DO-OVER, opposite Adam Sandler and Paula Patton which is one of Netflixâs biggest original film releases.Â

Spade was also seen in Sony Picturesâ GROWN UPS 2 alongside Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, and Kevin James. The film was a follow up to the 2010 hit comedy about a group of childhood friends who reunite years later. Both movies were a financial success, each earning over $200 million dollars worldwide at the box office. In 2012, Spade was heard as the voice of Griffin the Invisible Man in the animated feature, HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA alongside Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, Steve Buscemi, Kevin James, and Andy Samberg, among others. He reprised his role in the filmâs sequel, HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2, and returned for the third instalment HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3: SUMMER VACATION. He will reprise his role in HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 4: Transformania which will be released on Amazon Prime on January 14 th , 2022.

Born in Birmingham, Michigan, and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, Spade began his career by performing stand-up comedy in clubs, theaters and colleges across the country. He made his television debut on SNL and was soon after named the âHot Stand-Up Comedian of the Yearâ by Rolling Stone Magazine. As a writer and a performer on SNL for five years, he is best known for his memorable characters including the sarcastic âHollywood Minuteâ reporter on âWeekend Updateâ and catch phrases like âAnd you areâŚ?â and âBuh-Bye!â

Comedian David Spade adds Tampa stop to standup tour

Comedian David Spade will be making a stop at Tampa Theatre this fall as part of his new nationwide comedy tour, Catch Me Inside.
The announcement was made a day before Spadeâs standup special, Nothing Personal , will begin streaming on Netflix on Tuesday.
Known for his sarcastic and self-deprecating humor, Spade brings his standup tour to Tampa on Sept. 24. Tickets are $45-$75 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at tampatheatre.org and the box office at 711 N Franklin St., Tampa.
Spade, 57, started in standup and rose to fame as a cast member of Saturday Night Live for five years in the 1990s. He went on to work in films such as Tommy Boy and Adam Sandlerâs Grown Ups, and he also was in the hit sitcoms Just Shoot Me and Rules of Engagement .
He and fellow SNL alum Dana Carvey recently launched a podcast called Fly on the Wall , where they talk with fellow comedians, writers and actors to reminisce about their most memorable stories from the show and how it impacted their lives.

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - David Spade is set to perform at the Wilson Center on Wednesday, June 26, according to a Wilson Center announcement.
âKnown for his memorable roles in âJust Shoot Me,â âGrown Ups,â âJoe Dirt,â and his many appearances on NBCâs âSaturday Night Liveâ David Spade has become a household favorite. Now, heâs bringing his wise-cracking, comedic talent to CFCCâs Wilson Center for his Joe Dirt Country Bus Tour this summer!â the Facebook announcement states.
The show, part of the Joe Dirt Country Bus Tour, is scheduled for 8 p.m., and tickets are available now on the Wilson Center website .

David Spade has announced the 2023 dates of his ongoing comedy tour, "Catch Me Inside," with a stop at Overture Center on Saturday, Jan. 14 at 8 p.m. The comedian, actor and television personality will be hitting nine cities across the country with his hilarious set. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, at 11 a.m. at overture.org .
Nominated for an Emmy Award for his memorable role as Dennis Finch, the wise-cracking, power-hungry assistant on "Just Shoot Me," David Spade became a household favorite during his five-year stint as a cast member on NBC's "Saturday Night Live." He was also nominated for a Golden Globe in 2000 and an American Comedy Award in 1999 for his work on NBC's "Just Shoot Me." Spade continues to be a box office draw and continues to do stand-up tours nationwide. His most recent stand-up special "Nothing Personal" debuted on Netflix in April.
Spade can currently be heard co-hosting his podcast "Fly on the Wall" alongside fellow SNL alumni Dana Carvey . In each episode, they interview cast members, hosts, writers and musical guests as they share never-before told stories about their careers, including how they made their way to the show and how being a part of SNL's cultural history has impacted their lives beyond the show. The podcast premiered #1 in the comedy category and in the top five overall on Apple's podcast chart. The podcast has since been renewed for a second season and has included interviews with Sir Paul McCartney , Lorne Michaels , Nick Kroll , Maya Rudolph , Jimmy Fallon , Martin Short , Molly Shannon , Tom Hanks , Tina Fey and many more. New episodes are released every Wednesday everywhere podcasts are available.
He starred in the Netflix original comedy THE WRONG MISSY, which was the number one movie on Netflix in the days following its release on May 13, 2020. The film was also announced as the eighth most watched Netflix original movie in the company's history. That same year, Spade also hosted his own late-night series "Lights Out with David Spade " on Comedy Central .
In July 2018, Spade released "A Polaroid Guy in a Snapchat World" exclusively on Audible. The audio book was a New York Times best-seller and was well received by critics and fans. Spade was also seen in the Netflix original comedy FATHER OF THE YEAR, which was one of the highest streamed films globally on Netflix. Prior to that, Spade starred in the Netflix original comedy THE DO-OVER, opposite Adam Sandler and Paula Patton , which is one of Netflix's biggest original film releases.
In 2015, Spade reprised his role as the hilarious and endearing "white trash" misfit Joe Dirt in the sequel to the cult classic JOE DIRT 2: BEAUTIFUL LOSER, directed by Fred Wolf, with whom he also co-wrote the script. The film has been streamed over two million times, making it Crackle's most watched original movie to date. Later that same year, Spade also released his memoir, "Almost Interesting," through Dey Street Books, which went on to become a New York Times Bestseller.
Spade was also seen in Sony Pictures' GROWN UPS 2 alongside Adam Sandler , Chris Rock and Kevin James . The film was a follow up to the 2010 hit comedy about a group of childhood friends who reunite years later. In 2012, Spade was heard as the voice of Griffin the Invisible Man in the animated feature HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA alongside Adam Sandler , Selena Gomez , Steve Buscemi , Kevin James and Andy Samberg , among others. He reprised his role in the film's sequel, HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2, and returned for the third installment HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3: SUMMER VACATION. He again reprised his role in HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 4: Transformania, which was released on Amazon Prime earlier this year.
Other popular film credits include Sony Pictures' BENCHWARMERS and Paramount Pictures' DICKIE ROBERTS: FORMER CHILD STAR, the latter which he co-wrote with Fred Wolf. Both opened number one at the box office and enjoyed critical and commercial success. Spade also co-starred with SNL alumnus Chris Farley in the films TOMMY BOY and BLACKSHEEP, the former for which the pair won a 1996 MTV Movie Award for "Best On-Screen Duo." He has also appeared in REALITY BITES, LIGHT SLEEPER, CONEHEADS and LOST & FOUND (which he also co-wrote the screenplay).
On the small screen, Spade starred in the CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement." The show was produced by Sony's Happy Madison Productions and centered around three men in different stages of their relationships: married, engaged and single. The series enjoyed excellent ratings and critical success throughout all of its seven seasons. He also appeared in "The Showbiz Show" for Comedy Central , which aired from 2005-2007. Spade created, executive produced, hosted and wrote the show along with pal and former SNL writer Hugh Fink. He also had a memorable guest starring role on the critically acclaimed "The Larry Sanders Show" and appeared in HBO's "13thAnnual Young Comedians Special." Spade has also had several well-received standup comedy specials, most recently the Comedy Central special " David Spade : My Fake Problems," which was filmed at Hollywood's Fonda Theater and aired on May 4, 2014.
Born in Birmingham, Mich., and raised in Scottsdale, Ariz., Spade began his career by performing stand-up comedy in clubs, theaters and colleges across the country. He made his television debut on SNL and was soon after named the "Hot Stand-Up Comedian of the Year" by Rolling Stone Magazine. As a writer and a performer on SNL for five years, he is best known for his memorable characters including the sarcastic "Hollywood Minute" reporter on "Weekend Update" and catch phrases like "And you are...?" and "Buh-Bye!"
