If you’re a frequent traveler I’m guessing you’re also a fan of funny travel memes.

As frequent travelers, we often find ourselves in amusing and precarious situations. Many of which can be perfectly summed up in a great travel meme. 

So just for fun, I’ve put together this list of the 25 Best Travel Memes on the Internet. You’ll find inspirational travel memes, airline travel memes, social media travel memes, and many more.

1. No children travel meme

This is my personal favorite travel meme. It describes my life perfectly.

I don’t have kids so I don’t have to worry about family responsibilities when planning to travel. I’ll go wherever the cheap flights will take me and try to never miss out on a good flight deal.

2. Hotel travel meme

This is one of the most hilarious travel memes I’ve found.

I don’t tend to mess with housekeeping much, but I have to admit this is really funny.

I’ve actually worked in housekeeping before, many, many years ago. I’ve seen some things. But definitely nothing like this.

3. Airplane travel meme

Agreed! There’s something relaxing about flying and looking down on the world below. 

Funny travel quotes like this also perfectly sum up how I feel about flying. I love being away from everything, not knowing anybody, and just having this time to myself.

I’ll listen to a good book or podcast and just enjoy the quiet. You can’t go anywhere until the plane lands, so you might as well make the most of it.

4. Group travel plans meme

I think this travel meme sums up everybody’s experience when planning a trip with friends.

At least until we learn to stop asking people to join us beforehand. Now I just tell people my plans after I’ve booked my trip.

If they want to join, great! if not, they can stay home. 

I also love how the pics in this travel meme include dogs! Dogs are the perfect recipe for a funny vacation meme.

5. Packing travel meme

This is one of my favorite funny travel memes going around on social media. I think it’s one we can all relate to.

Personally, I buy lots of clothes I never end up wearing, mostly because I’m a terrible shopper.

Yes somehow these clothes always end up in my suitcase. It’s amazing how that works sometimes.  

6. Airline baggage policy travel meme

How perfect is this funny travel meme?

Airline baggage policies often both amuse and infuriate me, mostly because many are a bit ridiculous and don’t make much sense.

I do understand the airlines need to make up for the cost of low ticket prices somehow, but I feel they could do a better job explaining their convuluted baggage policies.

Not all airlines are bad at this, but some certainly are.

I think many also miss that the weight limits are not because the plane will be too heavy, but because the airline is limiting the weight of the bags for baggage handlers.

You wouldn’t want to be lifing 100 pound suitcases all day either. Keeping them closer to 50 pounds is safer for the staff moving your bags on and off the airplane.

7. Water at the airport travel meme

This has happened to me too many times. I’ve since learned to bring a refillable bottle in my carry on.

I can’t imagine how much money this has saved me in just the past year. Now if I could just remember to buy chewing gum before I get to the airport. 

To be totally honest though, while I may not be spending money on bottled water at the airport, I sure don’t seem to have a problem spending money on wine at the airport. Who’s with me?

8. Carry on bags travel meme

I’ve seen this a million times as well.

Fortunately, I usually manage to squeeze my bag in somewhere in the overhead bin. 

It always makes me wonder how some people have so many items when the airlines’s baggage policy states each passenger gets one carry on.

I’m starting to think people just hide their bags when they go to the counter for check in.

9. Airplane boarding meme

Some people take FOREVER in the aisle. I don’t even understand how whatever they’re doing could possibly take that long.

Do they not see the line behind them?

Seriously though, can someone explain this to me?

10. Reclining airplane seat meme

I’ve never been one to recline my seat on an airplane because it doesn’t make the flight any more comfortable.

I also don’t want to squish the person behind me.

Like everybody else, I hate it when the person in front of me reclines their seat. For some reason, this always happens when I’m watching a movie or eating.

Why someone would recline their seat during meal service is beyone me, but it happens. If you paid for your seat on the plane, you can recline it if you wish. It’s really not that big of a deal. I’m usually just happy to be on a plane in the first place.

11. Southwest Airlines meme

I love how seriously some folks take the boarding situation on Southwest Airlines.

I never really put much thought into it other than to ensure I check in right away to get a good boarding position.

I’ve definitely overheard some squabbles between passengers before though. This usually seems to happen when someone tries saving a seat for someone else who hasn’t been able to board yet.

I don’t really get why people insist on doing this. It’s not the end of the world if you don’t get to sit by your friend or partner during a flight.

And if it is such a big deal, why didn’t you just pay the $20 for the first boarding group? Makes no sense to me.

As for me, I head to the back of the plane to grab a window seat and silently hope no one sits next to me.

12. Reward points travel meme

Gotta love The Office…and travel reward points. 

I don’t know about you, but I always make my purchases using a credit card that gets me points for travel.

I personally use the Chase Sapphire and a few Marriott rewards credit cards. I use the Sapphire for airfare and the Marriott cards for my hotels. It works out perfectly.

If you don’t already have a good travel rewards credit card or business travel rewards card, I strongly encourage you to get one. Use it for all your daily purchases, you’d be surprised how quicly those points add up.

Just be sure to pay it off in full each month. The reward points are no longer worth it if you’re paying hundreds of dollars in interest fees to carry a balance.

But if you can handle the card responsibly, say hello to free flights and hotels.

13. Airplane boarding travel meme

Any meme with John Goodman makes my list. 

Plus vacation memes about people blocking the airplane aisle are so accurate. I don’t understand this aspect of traveling by plane.

When I’m boarding a plane I usually feel awkward if people are waiting behind me to pass. So much so that I’ll do whatever I can to limit my time in the aisle.

If I’m taking longer that a few seconds, I’ll usually just step out of the aisle to let other pass if there’s room to do so. Not sure why everybody doesn’t do this.

Also, what’s up with people waiting until they board the plane to start digging things out of their carry on roller bag? Why? Just why?

14. The summer tourist vacation meme

My own reaction is similar. I live in Los Angeles and know that certain areas of the city are just off limits come summer.

I’m talking about you Santa Monica and Hollywood Blvd. 

Even when I make my travel plans I consider the possible crowds for the destination I want to visit. I usually avoid Europe entirely in the summer. Not only are there too many tourists, but the prices are way too high.

I’d much rather travel in the spring and fall when everybody else is back at work. You wouldn’t believe all the deals you can get by opting for off season travel destinations .

15. The Alpaca Road Trip Meme s

Every list of funny travel memes needs an alpaca road trip meme. Plus, this one shows the true spirit of a road trip.

Road trips are best when they’re spontaneous, with the right people who are down for anything.

16. Waiting for my friends to travel meme

People often ask me when we’re going to travel together?

I used to entertain these comments with destination ideas and time frames. Now I just respond by suggesting they let me know when they’re ready to book the trip.

This is usually the end of the conversation. I think many people just like to talk about traveling, but don’t really have any intention of doing it.

We all have that friend who has to post every single photo they take on Facebook. You know the one.

18. Parents traveling without you meme

Many of us can relate to this in one way or another, whether it be travel or something else. It always seems your parents start doing cool things after you’ve grown up and moved out.

So many of us had travel plans this year that were cancelled. I know some of us handled it better than others. Here’s to hoping we’re out of this soon.

This was absolutely me for the majority of the pandemic. I live in a suburb of Los Angeles and would have given anything to be stuck somewhere more interesting.

I’ve only done this once, and never again. Unless I find a spectacular deal, I much prefer to pay a little extra for more comfort and convenience these days.

I don’t think anyone had it worse during Covid than the cruise industry. I have no idea how they plan to operate again, but I’m sure things will be interesting when they do.

I absolutely relate to this one. No matter where on the planet I go, my mom is always worried about the safety of the destination.

Honestly, most of the destinations I visit are safer than where I live.

In all honesty, it never ceases to amaze me how little room some airlines leave for passengers between the rows. I’m lucky I’m on the small side.

I admit it, I’m definitely guilty of this one. I’m excited to be at the airport and traveling, but also bored at the same time. It’s a difficult situation.

  Donna Kelce is poking fun at her famous sons!

  Donna, the mom to NFL stars Jason and Travis Kelce , shared a hilarious meme about her sons' rising spotlight in a post on Facebook on Monday.

  The meme, originally created and posted by the Word to the Wise Podcast , shows Jason, 36, and Travis, 34, as college football players in their University of Cincinnati uniforms.

  Over the photo, the text reads, "One of these guys is a finalist for Sexiest Man Alive and the other is dating Taylor Swift . There's still hope for you."

  The NFL stars' father, Ed Kelce , also shared the meme on his Facebook page on Monday.

  Fans were thrilled to see Donna and Ed publicly acknowledging Travis's relationship with Swift, 33, when they shared the meme on Facebook.

  On Saturday, the NFL star and pop superstar sent the internet into a frenzy when he attended the second night of her Eras Tour residency in Argentina and they shared a public kiss after the singer finished the show.

  Another romantic highlight came when Swift referred to her new beau in a lyric change to her song “Karma” in her concert at Buenos Aires’ Estadio River Plate.

  In  footage  posted by a concertgoer, Kelce stood next to  the singer's dad,  Scott Kingsley Swift, in the VIP tent as Swift sang.

  The pop star then switched up the lyrics to the song, singing, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me,” causing Kelce to flash a big grin. The "Blank Space" singer's dad also reacted with excitement, tapping the NFL player on the shoulder and clapping in support.

  Kelce then put his hands over his head in shock as fans cheered, before raising his arms and bobbing them along to the song.

  During the concert, Kelce showed plenty of support for Swift, and was even  filmed  holding up a sign that read, “WE WILL STAY,” as she sang her track “The Archer,” which includes the lyrics, “I've been the archer / I've been the prey / Who could ever leave me, darling? / But who could stay?.”

  Kelce’s appearance at Swift’s show comes after the pair spent a date night in Buenos Aires on Friday.

  Their dinner  — which took place after Swift's show on Friday was  postponed until Sunday due to bad weather — was held in a private room at Elena restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel in Buenos Aires.

  Kelce was "beaming" during the evening, and he and Swift "looked so cute on their low-key date night,” a source told PEOPLE.

  Rohit Sharma breaks ABD’s world record, sparks meme fest on X

  Rohit Sharma ’s heroics in India’s final league game against the Netherlands in the 2023 Cricket World Cup triggered a hilarious meme fest on Twitter, now X.

  The Mumbai resident has given Team India flying starts throughout the current edition of the quadrennial event, allowing them to stamp their authority on the opposition from the outset . 

  Rohit Sharma, who has set the template for India’s victories through his aggressive brand of cricket, was again at his explosive best against the Netherlands at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium as he smashed a quickfire 61 off 54 balls.

  During his whirlwind knock, Rohit Sharma struck eight boundaries and two sixes.

  His twin maximums gave him two mega milestones. The Nagpur-born cricketer has now hit 60 sixes in 2023, the most in a calendar year .

  Previously the record for smoking the most sixes in a calendar year was held by South African legend and Virat Kohli’s former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) teammate AB de Villiers, whose tally read 58 in 2015. 

  Furthermore, Rohit Sharma overtook England’s 2019 Cricket World Cup-winning skipper Eoin Morgan as the captain to hit the most sixes in a single edition of the ICC World Cup.

  In 2019, Eoin Morgan registered 22 sixes, while Rohit Sharma has already recorded 24 maximums in this year’s World Cup.

  Speaking about India vs the Netherlands encounter, Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat first, and from start to finish, it became a Team India show with the bat as all their top five batters got half-centuries in the innings.

  If Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill stitched a 100-run partnership for the first wicket in less than 12 overs, with the two openers making 61 off 54 and 51 off 32 balls, respectively, Virat Kohli followed them with yet another fifty in the 2023 Cricket World Cup.

  However, the real fireworks only after Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul joined each other in the middle. While the former bulldozed his way through to a sensational 128* off 94 deliveries, the latter raced through to the fastest hundred by an Indian in World Cup history.

  KL Rahul’s century against the Netherlands came in only 62 balls, taking him past Rohit Sharma’s record, who reached his ton in 63 balls against Afghanistan earlier in the prestigious tournament.

  Centuries from Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul and fifties from Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Virat Kohli powered India to 410/4 in their allocated 50 overs.

  In reply, the Netherlands were bundled out for 250, with Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, and Ravindra Jadeja all picking up two wickets each.

  India’s total domination of the Netherlands in the Karnataka capital gave them a 160-run victory and extended their winning streak in the 2023 World Cup to nine games.

  The Rohit Sharma-led side is the only undefeated team in the ongoing edition of the World Cup.

  “Since we started the tournament, it was all about one game at a time. We never wanted to look too far ahead. It is a long tournament, 11 games in all if we go all the way. It was important to break it down and focus on it. We focused on one game. We are playing in different venues and play accordingly and that’s what we did. Very pleased at how we’ve played in these nine games. Very clinical from game one to today,” Rohit Sharma said in the post-match presentation ceremony.

  “Different individuals have stepped up and put their hand up and done the job. Everyone wanted to take the responsibility. Playing in different venues, it was a challenge. We adapted really well. We started the tournament four games in a row chasing, and then we had to bat first and the pacers did the job along with the spinners,” the India captain added.

  “The result do matter to keep the dressing room lively. We are playing in India, there will be expectation. We wanted to do the job at hand. It’s one thing to talk about it but for everyone to buy into it is very important. We enjoy each other’s company. We wanted to play with enjoyment on the field. We try to keep the atmosphere outside lively,” he pointed out.

  Also, Rohit Sharma had his say on whether India would use a sixth bowler in the semifinals against New Zealand on Wednesday. The home side deployed Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Shubman Gill, and Rohit Sharma as bowling options against the Netherlands.

  “It is something that is always in our mind. We want to create those options in the team, today we had nine options. This was the game we could have tried certain things. The seamers bowling those wide yorkers which was not needed but they did,” Rohit Sharma noted.

  India would look to bury the ghosts of 2019 when they take on New Zealand in the first semifinal of the 2023 Cricket World Cup in Mumbai later this week.

  In the last World Cup in England, the Men in Blue suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Kiwis in the semis, leaving the legendary MS Dhoni in tears.

  Interestingly, India has never beaten New Zealand in an ICC knockout fixture. 

  India’s first loss to New Zealand in a knockout game in an ICC event came in 2000 when the Kiwis defeated them in the inaugural edition of the Champions Trophy in Nairobi.

  It was followed by defeats in the 2019 World Cup semis and the ICC Test Championship final in 2021.

  But spinner Kuldeep Yadav underplayed India’s poor record in the ICC knockout games, including the 2019 World Cup loss.

  “The 2019 semifinals (against NZ) was four years ago. We have played a lot of bilateral series after that, so we know the conditions (in India) and so do they. Our preparation has been good and we have been able to play good cricket throughout the tournament. So, we expect to continue in the same vein in the next match as well,” Kuldeep Yadav told PTI. 

  Former Australia batter Matthew Hayden, a two-time World Cup winner, backed India to break their New Zealand hoodoo at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on November 15.

  “Well look, India is the in-form side. They’ve gone on a winning run like the Australian team did in 2003 and 2007. When it comes to semi-finals and finals, obviously, it’s a two-horse race across a four-horse race and obviously, India have everything covered in terms of their batting skills and bowling skills and the fielding has been outstanding. They’ve had great efficiency in all of those 3 departments and their bowling has been outstanding as well. There’s no reason why they can’t break the jinx,” Matthew Hayden said in a conversation with Star Sports.

  Ex-India coach Ravi Shastri dubbed the Rohit Sharma-led team the favorites to claim their third World Cup title.

The way they are playing, this is probably their best chance,” Ravi Shastri said in the Club Prairie Fire podcast.   “If they miss out this time, they would probably have to wait another three World Cups for even thinking of trying to win it. The pool of players is such the 7-8 players are at their peak. This could well be their last World Cup.   Metro trains are running smoothly in Moscow, as usual, but getting around the city center by car has become more complicated, and annoying, because anti-drone radar interferes with navigation apps.

  There are well-off Muscovites ready to buy Western luxury cars, but there are not enough available. And while a local election for mayor took place as it normally would last Sunday, many of the city’s residents decided not to vote, with the result seemingly predetermined (a landslide win by the incumbent).

  Almost 19 months after Russia invaded Ukraine, Muscovites are experiencing dual realities: The war has faded into background noise, causing few major disruptions, and yet it remains ever-present in their daily lives.

  This month, Moscow is aflutter in red, white and blue flags for the annual celebration of the Russian capital’s birthday, No. 876. Its leaders marked the occasion with a monthlong exhibition that ended last Sunday. Featuring the country’s largest hologram, it showcased the city of 13 million people as a smoothly operating metropolis with a bright future. More than seven million people visited, according to the organizers.

  There is little anxiety among residents over the drone strikes that have hit Moscow this summer. No alarm sirens to warn of a possible attack. When flights are delayed because of drone threats in the area, the explanation is usually the same as the one plastered on signs at the shuttered luxury boutiques of Western designers: “technical reasons.”

  The city continues to grow. Cranes dot the skyline, and there are high-rise buildings going up all over town. New brands, some homegrown, have replaced the flagship stores like Zara and H&M, which departed after the invasion began in February 2022.

  “We continue to work, to live and to raise our children,” said Anna, 41, as she walked by a sidewalk memorial marking the death of the Wagner mercenary leader Yevgeny V. Prigozhin. She said she worked in a government ministry, and like others interviewed, she did not give her last name because of a fear of retribution.

  But for some, the effects of war are landing harder.

  Nina, 79, a pensioner who was shopping at an Auchan supermarket in northwestern Moscow, said that she had stopped buying red meat entirely, and that she could almost never afford to buy a whole fish.

  “Just right now, in September, the prices rose tremendously,” she said.

  Nina said that sanctions and ubiquitous construction projects were some reasons for higher prices, but the main reason, she said, was “because a lot is spent on war.”

  “Why did they start it at all?” Nina added. “Such a burden on the country, on people, on everything. And people are disappearing — especially men.”

  When asked about the biggest problems facing Russia, more than half of the respondents in a recent poll by the independent Levada Center cited price increases. The war, known in Russia as the “special military operation,” came in second, with 29 percent, tied with “corruption and bribery.”

  “In principle, everything is getting more expensive,” said Aleksandr, 64, who said he worked as an executive director in a company. His shopping habits at the grocery store have not changed, but he said he had not traded in his luxury Western-branded car for a newer model.

  “First of all, there are no cars,” he said, noting that most Western dealerships had left Russia and that Chinese brands had been taking their places on the roads.

  The war has made itself evident outside supermarkets and auto dealerships. Moscow may be one of the few cities in Europe without sold-out showings of the movie “Barbie.” Warner Bros, which produced the film, pulled out of Russia shortly after Mr. Putin invaded Ukraine, and bootleg copies of “Barbie” were shown only in a few underground screenings .

  Theaters regularly show movies that premiered more than five years ago because of licensing issues and strict new laws banning any mention of L.G.B.T.Q. people.

  Advertisements to join the military are plastered on roadside billboards and on posters in convenience stores. Moscow’s metro recently stopped making announcements in English, with a Russian-language voice announcing every stop twice.

  Cosmetically, Moscow is changing, too. A statue of Felix Dzerzhinsky, the founder of the Soviet political police, was inaugurated this past week in front of the headquarters of the foreign intelligence services. It is a copy of a statue that stood in front of the headquarters of the K.G.B. until it was torn down in 1991 by Russians hungry for freedom.

  The election for mayor also underscored the sea change in Russian politics. A decade ago, the opposition politician Aleksei A. Navalny stood as a candidate against Sergei S. Sobyanin. Now, Mr. Navalny is in jail, and there was no real competition for Mr. Sobyanin, who won a third term with an unprecedented 76 percent of the vote.

  Other parties, including the Communist Party , fielded a candidate against the incumbent, but they are all considered “systemic opposition” parties, or groups in Parliament nominally in opposition but who align their policies with the Kremlin on most issues.

  “Before the war, I still voted,” said Vyacheslav I. Bakhmin, a chairman of the Moscow Helsinki Group, the oldest human rights group in Russia. “I don’t want to vote now because, well, the result seems to be clear, right?”

  Many in Moscow chose not to vote, though turnout was at a two-decade high because of electronic voting that allows Muscovites to cast a ballot online. There is also heavy-handed encouragement of public sector employees to vote.

  Mr. Sobyanin, 65, benefited from a carefully cultivated image as an effective manager, and Moscow’s cleanliness and ease of getting around are praised even by people who oppose his political party. He has made transportation a hallmark of his tenure, and he not only keeps the trains running efficiently, but is opening brand-new stations.

  The elections in Moscow and in more than 20 Russian regions are widely seen as a test run for presidential elections in March. Mr. Putin has not declared his candidacy, but he is widely expected to run.

  As Mr. Putin presides over a war with no end in sight, the authorities have worked to limit public expressions of dissent and make things seem as normal as possible. Aleksei A. Venediktov, who headed the liberal Echo of Moscow radio station before the Kremlin shut it down last year, said that the government had engineered the war’s absence from political spaces.

  “This war, it is mainly on TV, or on Telegram channels, but it is not on the street, it is not even discussed in cafes and restaurants, because it is dangerous, because the laws that have been adopted are repressive,” Mr. Venediktov said. He noted cases in which people expressing antiwar views were denounced — or in some cases reported to the police — by those sitting next to them on the subway or in restaurants.

  “People prefer to tell one another, ‘Let’s not talk about it here,’” Mr. Venediktov said. “And that’s why you can’t see it in the mood.”

  In Moscow City, an area of skyscrapers that is the Russian capital’s answer to New York’s Financial District, many people casually dismissed a series of drone strikes that damaged some of the buildings there but resulted in no casualties.

  One woman, Olga, who said she worked nearby, just nodded as a colleague shrugged off the potential risk.

  Later, Olga sent a New York Times journalist a message on the Telegram messaging app: “I couldn’t say anything, because at work they don’t talk about a position like mine,” she wrote. “I am against war and I hate our political system.”

  When there is a drone strike inside Russia, she said, “I always hope that maybe someone will think about what it means to live under shelling, and regret the loss of our normal life before the war.” She said that if the explosions do not cause casualties, then “I don’t regret damage to the buildings at all.”

  Mr. Venediktov said that even if changes on Moscow’s surface were hard to see, and increasingly harder to discuss, people were truly transforming inside.

  “People are starting to return to the Soviet practice, when public conversations can lead to trouble at work,” he said. “It’s like toxic poisoning — a very slow process.”

  Black Friday travel deals 2023: Shop offers on flights, holidays and rail fares

  While the big day is still weeks away, get prepared to tick iconic destinations off your travel bucket list in 2024 by bagging a bargain on short and long-haul journeys in the Black Friday sales, whether you’re dreaming of European hotspots or trips to the Caribbean .

  Black Friday is the ideal opportunity to score discounts on hotel stays, flights and all-inclusive package holidays. Budget travellers could save hundreds on their next trip with travel deals from Booking.com to Expedia and G Adventures.

  Last year saw big deductions from Tui, First Choice and easyJet on package holiday deals, with up to £200 off selected summer trips , city breaks and winter sun getaways from the cost-savvy providers.

  With offers available from Black Friday on 24 November well into Cyber Monday on 27 November, we’ll be keeping this guide updated in the lead-up to one of the biggest sales event of the year.

  Avid travellers can save over 30 per cent on selected hotel reservations and accommodation with  Booking.com’s  Black Friday offerings from 16-29 November. The cost-saving stays can be booked for dates between now and 31 December 2024, whether a long weekend away or a week of relaxing beside the beach, and there’s even up to 25 per cent off visits activities, including river cruises and guided museum tours, as long as they’re taken within three months of booking.

  Members of  Expedia  can sign in to save 30 per cent or more on selected hotels from New York to Dubai when they book before 29 November. That’s a hefty 20 per cent additional discount from the standard members deal of 10 per cent off worldwide hotels in the holiday provider’s biggest travel sale of the year. Holidays with nights in spacious suites and elegant apartments are bookable for travel until the end of 2024 as part of the Black Friday deal.

  To get away for even less,  Ryanair’s  anticipated Cyber Week deals kickstart on 21 November with new deals on flights and holidays rolling out to email subscribers for an entire week. The budget airline has a whole series of savings including fare discounts of up to 20 per cent and bargain flights to bag from just £19.99 across European city break hotspots and sundrenched North African resorts.

  G Adventures

  There are big savings on big adventures with  G Adventures  this Black Friday. Intrepid explorers can save up to 30 per cent per person on small group tours for select dates departing before 30 April 2024. Cruises, National Geographic expeditions and hiking treks to discover the continents must be booked between 1-30 November 2023 to benefit from the adventure travel group’s generous discount.

  Lastminute.com

  While  lastminute.com’s  Black Friday holiday deals will officially be open for booking on 20 November, flash sales ahead of the big day mean you can secure a steal on package trips now. Destinations including Dubai, Prague, and Majorca feature flights and five-star accommodation from just £179pp as part of the promotion and a seven-night all-in stay in sundrenched Antalya in March will set travellers back only £319pp.

  AttractionTickets.com

  Those planning a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the US will find 10 per cent off attraction tickets and hotel packages in  AttractionTickets.com’s  Black Friday sale with code BLACKFRIDAY between 9 and 27 November. This means savings of up to £118.50pp on Orlando Freedom Tickets with 14 days of admission to all Disney, Universal and SeaWorld parks and a £50.30pp price slash on the Grand Canyon West Rim Helicopter & Skywalk Express Tour in Las Vegas.

  Royal Caribbean

  This Black Friday seafaring travellers can save up to £625pp on their European  Royal Caribbean  cruises with seven-night balcony staterooms available on  Anthem of the Seas  journeys across Northern Europe and the Mediterranean from just £999pp. With  Anthem of the Seas  departing and returning from Southampton in the summer of 2024, this penny-saving promotion from 10 November to 4 December means you won’t even need to worry about airfares.

  Secret Escapes

  Secret Escapes’  Black Friday promotion of up to 50 per cent off on getaways is now on. You’ll find price cuts on winter wonderland holidays to Finnish Lapland, Scottish staycations by Edinburgh Castle, adults-only all-inclusives and far-flung sun on safaris in Tanzania. There’s also a chance to win £500 credit towards your next Secret Escapes holiday as part of the sale. Offers end on 28 November.

  Newmarket Holidays

  There are savings of up to 15 per cent available across  Newmarket Holidays’  collection of 40 tours from now until 4 December. Think African safaris, Northern Light chasing and trekking through Costa Rican jungles with itineraries that start from just £425pp. Three brand new tours are also included in the discounted breaks “The Heritage of Vietnam & Cambodia” solo holiday, “Japan Unveiled” and the “New England & Canada Fall Colours Cruise” to North America’s autumnal splendour.

  If you’re an adventure enthusiast longing to escape to the extraordinary outdoors, discounts on unique tours beckon this autumn. From 20 to 27 November,  WeRoad  is offering up to 20 per cent off selected tours departing from December 2023 through 2024.   Hard Rock International

  Hard Rock’s  holiday deals for Black Friday include up to 50 per cent off all-inclusive resorts such as Hard Rock Hotel Cancun and Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana and up to 30 per cent off all room rates for city breaks at the Hard Rock Hotel Budapest and the Hard Rock Hotel Madrid, among others. The promotion is available to book from 14 November until 5 December for Hard Rock stays between 18 December 2023 and 31 August 2024.

  Intrepid Travel

  For a once-in-a-lifetime small group adventure at a much smaller price point,  Intrepid Travel’s  annual Cyber Sale is offering up to 20 per cent off selected adventures when booking from 17 November to 4 December. Explorers can save hundreds on a Sri Lankan food adventure, a family holiday to Peru and a picturesque pedal through Provence when travelling between 1 December 2023 to 31 August 2024 as part of the promotion.

  Travellers between 18 and 35 can save big this cyber sale season with 25 per cent shaved off select  Contiki  social escapes for 2023. Live from 17 November, the discount features on a bucket list worth of European favourites, Thai island-hopping trips, Asian adventures across Cambodia and Laos and new excursions such as a tour of the ancient history and modern K-pop culture in South Korea.

  What travel deals can we expect in the Black Friday 2023 sale?

  If  Black Friday 2022  is any indication, expect to see discounts from many of the UK’s major airlines, package holiday providers and hotel groups on airfares, accommodation and attractions in two weeks.

  Tui  offered savings of up to £200 off selected 2023 holidays last year.

  Travelodge  featured a 30 per cent saving off the cheapest night on stays booked for over two nights in the 2022 sales.

  Virgin Atlantic saw savings of £100 on Upper Class flights and 10 per cent off package holidays last November.

  Jet2holidays  kicked off their Black Friday 2022 sale with discounts of up to 50 per cent on hotel stays.
