I have been here a couple of times now and have to say great job you guys! Especially for a small company with such a small footprint in the mall you sure make shoe shopping for kids a breeze. Today, I had a bad experience at Finish Line (don't waste your time there) and when I arrived at the store I was immediately greeted. The store is small, now they were very busy since it was end of the night on a Sunday. The staff was super friendly, and even for a moment when I went across the store and left my son sitting on one of the chairs on his iPad while we waited for the sizes to try on, this other lady asked my 6-year old if he was being helped!!! How incredible is that? She acknowledged him as a human being, but also as a customer. Riley helped us today and she was superb! She helped us get the correct measurements and find the right style. She even joked around with my son about glowing socks. It was overall a delightful experience. After being so stressed out from my Finish Line experience, I was very impressed with Journey's service and their friendly spirit! Way to go guys! Keep it up! And thank you, Riley for making kid shoe shopping so much easier on this tired mom.

My daughter had her heart set on some light up tennis shoes. Unfortunately, after several stores, we realized that Velcro ones are hard to find in her size. She is 4 years old and wears a size 13!!!! Poor thing looks like she has barges on her feet! So, we end up at this store and she falls in love with a pair of cool, light up, pink Sketchers but they are lace ups.....dang! I tell my daughter, if you can tie them we will buy them. I am thinking that after 2 months of practicing with her, she is not gonna be able to do it and we are going to move on and continue the search. Our sales-girl sat down with her and very patiently helped her learn how to tie her shoes herself and she did it! Let's review that shall we... Me: spent 2 months teaching her and fail. Random, but very friendly sales girl: spent 20 minutes and presto, she's got it! She even put my daughters favorite song on for her while we shopped! I have been to this store before and liked it but this has been, by far, our best visit! I will definitely be back!
