The Best Fly and Cruise Holidays
Some of the world’s most stunning landscapes are best viewed from the ocean. Start your luxurious cruise holiday by flying right into a top destination, and spending a few days sightseeing before joining your ship.
New York City
It’s impossible not to love New York City. Its broad sidewalks lead you to a plethora of world-class museums, celebrity-studded restaurants and sensational sights that never fail to surprise and delight visitors. For something offbeat, take a stroll in the newest park, the High Line – a reclaimed raised subway line that cuts through the Meatpacking District for a unique experience. In lower Manhattan, look out upon the shining beacon of the Statue of Liberty, a reminder that this port city has been welcoming visitors for centuries. Many cruise ships come and leave from here. The three popular routes from New York are:
Canada: Norwegian and Carnival cruises offer itineraries where you can sample the unspoilt Nova Scotia coastlines and beyond.
The Bahamas: The Bahamas are made for cruising. The powder-soft sand, swaying palm trees and turquoise waters mean only one thing – you’re in paradise. Disney and Norwegian cruises offer holidays with a stopover at their respective private islands.
Transatlantic: the only cruise ship that runs the timeless New York to Southampton route is the magnificent Queen Mary 2 where guests are treated like royalty.

Neatly framed by the Mediterranean Sea and the hills of Montjuïc and Tibidabo, Barcelona is a vibrant metropolis with eye-popping architecture. It’s a city of Antoni Gaudí. His work is dotted all over town, and his masterpiece, the unfinished Sagrada Familia cathedral, is truly astonishing. Then there is the Barri Gòtic (Gothic Quarter), which contains an exemplary collection of Gothic buildings dating from Catalonia’s Golden Age, interspersed with Roman ruins, delightful squares and numerous bars and restaurants.
This city of great beauty can be admired from different viewpoints, from hilltops, cable cars, funiculars, cathedral spires and cruise ships. A firm favourite cruise route is the Western Mediterranean, sailing to the glamorous French Riviera and picture-perfect Italian Riviera. A great alternative is to island-hop the four paradisaical Balearic Islands nearby.

The Maltese archipelago, situated almost at the centre of the Mediterranean, includes the islands of Malta, Gozo, Comino, Comminotto and Filfla. These islands are best described as one open-air museum. Delve into the island’s mysterious prehistoric temples, retrace the footsteps of St Paul, and see where the Knights of St John defended Christendom. If history doesn’t fascinate you, the local wine Gellewza certainly will.
For a truly unforgettable experience, fly to Malta and cruise the sun-kissed Eastern Mediterranean. P&O offers a number of 7-night or 14-night routes from Malta, stopping over some of most glorious destinations on earth – Greece, Croatia, and Italy. Indulge yourself blissfully, because you have earned it.

We are due to sale the med in April, feels like the cruise is getting close (less than 60 days to go) but there are still no flight details available.
Has anyone had a similar experience or know when they are likely to be released?
Thanks in advance

I have a cruise booked at the end of May from Malta and no news on flights. My TA has chased may times and the best answer she has received is that P&O are trying to come to an agreement on prices with an airline (no idea which one but suspect TUI.
We don't even know the airport but when we booked we requested Gatwick.
We're on A208A flying from Manchester to Malta on 14th April and have no flight details. I've contacted P&O by phone and Twitter and both say details are expected any time now. No response at all to an email query.
We've got a back-to-back Caribbean trip booked. We fly out from Manchester (moved from our local airport, Birmingham) on 4th March to Barbados to join Azura, returning on 31st from Malta back to Manchester. Though our flight from Manchester to Barbados is showing, our return flight is not. We are checking every day as we need the details to book our transport back from the airport.
So we fly home on 31st March and no details for us yet... and we leave three weeks today...
Our Manchester flight details for A208A are now avalable
Thank you, ours too.
Just trying to sort train tickets now.
Ours are there now for A207c the only issues are
1. Still can't book seats
2. When you search the flight number on the departure day it's going to Portugal, we're supposed to be going to Malta!
Those who have flights to Malta, who are you flying with?
We're on A290A (booked yesterday) and the TA supplied the details of our flights, but haven't had anything from P&O yet!
Flying with TUI out of Bristol.
Our Manchester to Malta flight is with TUI.

This is interesting because as far as I can find TUI are not flying from Gatwick to Malta on the date our cruise is yet we have now been assured by our TA and P&O we are flying out of Gatwick. BA are flying there so maybe an upgrade?

If It's a charter flight maybe it won't appear in regular listings?

True but I have found a website that lists charter flights. It may be possible the flight has yet to arranged or the website has to be updated.

I think you mean downgrade !

You have a point but I failed to say it but I also noted Ryanair are also flying to Malta and I refuse to fly with them.
Our flight from Malta to Manchester after the repositioning cruise is with TUI, as is the one flying out to the Caribbean. We were originally booked to fly from and into Birmingham, but moved to Manchester.
I have now also received my flight details from P&O along with our luggage allowance all are now showing in My P&O.
4 hours ago, MX-Drew said: You have a point but I failed to say it but I also noted Ryanair are also flying to Malta and I refuse to fly with them.
Yes, we too refuse to fly with Ryanair.
We have been given our end of May flights to and from Malta. They are with Tui from Gatwick, pretty much as I hoped.
We received the email on Wednesday saying we could book our flight seats for Malta from this morning. However, when trying to book it says 'only available 14 weeks from departure'. As we are less than 12 weeks away I assume this is another of the famous P&O system glitches. Has anyone else encountered this problem? We are flying with Jet2 from Birmingham.

Yes, I should have been able to book ours from the 17th Feb, also a flight to Malta but with Tui from Gatwick.
We have been able to book seats on our TUI flight Manchester to Malta on April 14th
I had an e-mail earlier on in the week saying I would be able to book my flights for Malta from today.
Our's is a TUI flight out of Bristol on the 28th April. Went on line this evening and have them booked them without any problems.
Certainly the Gatwick flights were pending confirmation of when the South Terminal was opening so that Gatwick terminal could be confirmed.

Not sure that is relevant as our flight is with TUI who use the North Terminal.
