Short Essay on A Visit to a Park in 100 Words

All of us need some sort of entertainment in our lives. We tend to visit several places to spend some quality time with our parents and family. Visiting a park is one of the most fantastic attractions in all of them. I recently saw a water park in Kolkata to boost myself up after long-drawn pandemic jeopardy. Visiting there with my friends was an additional reward.

We enjoyed each other’s company, laughed, played, and hyped the energy. It was such a bliss to be out in the open sun. Everywhere there was mirth and playfulness. I felt how even a small excuse of visiting a park can bring together so many people. The visit appeared to be more like an unbridled and happy social meeting.

Short Essay on a Visit to a Park in 200 Words

Entertainment is a mode to unleash all our suppressed passions and desires and enjoy a short moment of life with fun and happiness. For that visiting parks, places of heritage, zoos, museums, or having a simple picnic can be those several ways to enjoy our vacations and pass times. For me visiting a water park is great bliss.

Recently I and my friends went to a nearby water park in Kolkata that is well known for its water slides, fun, games, and also the ambience of happiness. We readily agreed to visit the park and make the day memorable. Reaching there we bought ourselves tickets and took some costumes to enjoy the water slides. We felt both excited and terrified viewing the giant rollercoaster and the ups and downs of the ride. Yet gathering all our courage we went on.

We got into it consecutively and as soon as the ride started we felt the greatest enjoyment of our lives. Each and every ride was wonderful, especially the water slip and the pool rides. In fact, the park also accommodated some really cool cocktail outlets and a platform to enjoy the music going on. The entire environment was one of mirth. After losing time in the pandemic, the water park visit became a fruitful experience get-together, as many friends came together who would have otherwise been disconnected for a while.

Short Essay on a Visit to a Park in 400 Words

Taking any journey with people we love is always a rewarding experience. Whenever we find ourselves in a pensive mood, we feel desperate to attend a place of fun and excitement. Visiting a park, be it any local ground or an exclusive park with sophisticated rides and slips, strolling at parks is always a great exercise for the mind and body. It releases all our clogged emotions and makes the mind as free and wide as a huge green field. Visiting parks has often been a medicative remedy.

Many old people along with kids practice visiting to park in the morning and dusk. It enables them to maintain a healthy body and mind and feel carefree. Similarly for me visiting a park has also a great purpose. Recently I went to a famous water park in Kolkata, that is quite renowned for its water rides.

The park also has a separate underground base station for dance and music, where young people can spend their quality time. The entire park is well decorated with cartoons and animals, which in turn become viable for little kids. The park’s beauty attracts lots of visitors every summer. Also, the cocktail outlets lying adjacent to the water park add up to its beauty.

Recently, I got a wonderful opportunity to get together with my high school friends and spent a great time with them in that water park, I hardly could have denied such an option and readily agreed. It was also a moment of nostalgia since these friends live far away without that old bonding. We arrived as one of our friends has already got our tickets. We opted for the rollercoaster ride, although it rose great fear and excitement in us. It was as majestic as it was fearful.

Once into it, we realized how beautiful the company was. We were thrilled with joy and enjoyed all the water rides with extreme fun. The summer heat no longer felt tormenting us as the mirth filled the air. After completing the rides we changed our dresses and quickly visited the dance p[platform. We enjoyed each other’s company and forgot the passage of time. Happiness, like bubbles, brewed up till we returned back and parted our ways.

Visiting a water park that day was not any show of our sophisticated taste. But it was god’s grace that all our long-lost friends got reunited. Those lost memories were once again relived and cherished as if it was anew. I still can feel the happiness of that day and will never forget this wonderful memory.

My parents take me to the park every day, and I love it. It helps me clear my mind, spend time with my friends, and feel good. I love checking out the basketball court and look forward to using the swings. Sometimes we go boating together since my park has a beautiful lake. A lot of grownups come here to do birdwatching and catch the sunrise. My day would be so dull if parks didn’t exist. The park I visit adds colours, fun, and meaning and gives me something to look forward to in the evenings. Parks make me forget any stress and relax my mind, and I feel rejuvenated when I reach home.

Parks play a huge role in society and encourage everyone to take better care of their surroundings. One can become free and have a good time visiting a nearby park. Here is a short essay for classes 1, 2, and 3 on parks:

A day at the park is like spending a day filled with fun and games. There’s nothing but tons of entertainment and recreation! Some parks host creative workshops, as I saw several artists sketching in public last summer. My mom took me to the park yesterday, and I saw an old man painting pictures. I felt so inspired. I made a few new friends, and we used the see-saws together. No vehicles are allowed in the park; the best part is that it is always so clean. The cotton candy seller is nice and gives me great discounts whenever I visit. I regularly visit the park nearby and bring plenty of snacks from home to share with my friends. Sometimes, I go for an after-meal walk with my parents. It is so satisfying and calming. Playing in the park is so much fun!

The primary purpose of visiting a park is to take the time to unwind and relax. Here is a long   essay for class 3 kids on parks:

We love watching the sunrise, and the red glow is magical.

We once had a picnic at the park last summer. It was great, and I enjoyed the food while exploring all the different paths. I think parks set an example for society and teach us how to look after the earth. Life would be dull if parks didn’t exist. After studying for hours at home, all I want to do is play at the park. I see many vendors come here and sell snacks, and my parents sometimes give me pocket money to enjoy them. My favourite snacks at the park are popcorn, cotton candy, and gummy bears. I love using the hanging bars at the park and hanging on for as long as I can! It’s a great exercise and it helps me stretch. Sometimes I walk to the park with my parents at night, which is fun because I get to spend quality time with my family.

A Memorable Visit to the Nairobi National Park Essay

One of my childhood fascinations revolved around watching TV programs on wild animals and reading documented literature on these animals in their natural habitats. Lions, elephants, and giraffes were particularly fascinating to watch, though the perception then was that the animals were merely fiction since they seemed so large compared to the dogs and cats living amongst us in the neighborhood. But this perception suddenly changed when I visited the Nairobi National Park in Kenya, where I came alive to the fact that these animals are real and inherently beautiful.

My journey to the East African country was facilitated by a cultural exchange program shared between my former school and another institution in Kenya. Although I was exposed to very many new things during my three weeks stay in the country, the most memorable experience was a visit to the Nairobi National Park with my colleagues and mentors. The national park is an expansive and unique ecosystem spanning across 117 km 2 of open grass plains with scattered acacia bush and other breath-taking vegetation types.

The uniqueness of the park is grounded on its capacity to host major wildlife attractions and ease of accessibility from the capital city. The park is located only 7 km from the capital city of Kenya, hence tourists can easily land at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and have the opportunity to visit the park the same day.

In terms of major wildlife attractions, the Nairobi national park easily passes as one of the best in the world due to the many varieties of animals and their interactions in broad daylight. In the five hours that I was in the park, I had the chance to view black rhinos, lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, and other animal varieties in their natural surroundings as opposed to viewing them in a zoo. The game viewing was spectacular, particularly when it came to the hunting episodes involving lions and other herbivorous animals such as the wildebeests. I noticed that the lions hunted in a group of four or five and were often led by a female member of the group known as the lioness.

I also observed that, although these lions seemed huge and heavy, they were extremely fast in their hunting episodes and killed their prey through strangulation. Although female lions did most of the hunting, the largest share of the prey went to the male lions and cubs in what could be compared to contemporary home contexts whereby women settle down to eat after serving their men and children.

The tour guide informed us that they are many elephants and giraffes in the national park due to the Savanna environment and availability of many shrubs that act as a major source of food for the wildlife. True to the tour guide’s depiction, I viewed almost thirty elephants moving in a herd which was led by a huge male elephant. I came to learn that the elephants are considered as an endangered species due to poachers who kill them to extract their highly priced tusks and sell them in major European and Asian markets.

The tour guide also told us that, although giraffes have no known enemy, it was clear that human beings were increasingly killing them for their meat and skin. I could not understand why people could take part in killing such beautiful creatures for their trophies and meat.

Away from the enticing range of wild animals, I came to learn from the tour guide that the Nairobi national park holds corporate events such as bush dinners and team building excursions, special events such as weddings, and is also home to a favorite three-star restaurant where visitors can relax for sumptuous meals while overlooking the park. I had the occasion to witness one corporate event and interacted with a lot of people that were not part of our team.

One group that caught my attention consisted of ten men wearing traditional African regalia and dancing to the tunes of beautiful cultural songs. I was informed that these men were part of a larger cultural troupe that welcomed visitors into the park through song and dance. Although the men looked traditional, they demonstrated a fair understanding of the English language as they sang some of the songs in English. The people in the park were increasingly friendly and demonstrated a genuine concern about our comfort and safety while at the park. The singers, who I later learnt were from the “Maasai” community, kept us alive with their comforting songs and even welcomed us to dance with them.

To date, the visit at the Nairobi national park still remains my most memorable experience due to the many wildlife attractions and hospitable people. Not only did I come across my childhood fascinations in real-life context, but I also watched the animals hunt their prey in the expansive plains located just outside the capital city. It was the most fulfilling experience of my life, though I was sad that some unscrupulous individuals were killing the animals to benefit commercially through the sale of game trophies and meat. It is my conviction that developed countries should assist in curtailing the trade in animal trophies by criminalizing the business and providing the much needed funds to protect animals in their natural habitats.

Essay on My visit to the Park

Essay on My visit to the Park

Introduction:

There is a beautiful park near my house.  My mother used to take my sister and me during weekends.  We enjoy spending time there in the park by running, jumping, and playing.

Play Area:

The Park has a separate play area with a slide, see-saw, swing, merry-go-round, and other play activities also.  My sister and I will go for one round in all playful activities and give chance to other friends also.  Sliding from the top is really wonderful experience.  Swinging at greater heights feel like flying in the air. Sometimes we play hide and seek with other friends also.  We will also play with the ball, kick the ball and we will run fast to catch it.

“Play is the highest form of research” – Albert Einstein

Trees and plants:

The Park has beautiful flowering plants, full of bushes and trees also.  We should not pluck flowers from the garden. It is the beauty that has to be seen and admired by all.  There are two gardeners to water the plants daily and maintain the park.

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant” – Robert Louis Stevenson

Exercise area for walking:

The Park has an Exercise area called Gym for adults to do exercises.  It has a separate Yoga Open Hall for people to do yoga.  Many people have a long walk through the pathway without any disturbance.

“An early morning walk is a blessing for the whole day”- Henry David Thoreau

Other facilities:

There is a small pond with different colored fish.  We can sit and relax near the pond.  There are colorful benches to sit and rest on. After playing, when we get tired, we finally sit down to rest.  My mother gives us snacks like fruit juices, cookies, etc.

Conclusion:

Then we will say goodbye to our dear friends and come back to our house.  The park is the best place for nature lovers.  We really enjoyed the time spent in the park. The Park gives people fresh air to breathe, facilities to do exercises and finally take rest in Benches.  This gives peace of mind and relaxation to all of us.

A Visit to a Park in English

A park is a place where we can sit, walk or play with friends and family. There are a lot of plants and trees and the ground has grass all over. I visited the ‘Hathi Park’ in Lucknow in winter vacations.

It was a very big park and it also had different swings for children. On the entry gates, there was a big board hanging above. It was written on the board that the park was built in the memory of B.R. Ambedkar. There were a lot of people in the park.

paragraph writing a visit to a park

Children were playing games and some people were there for a picnic. We carried Ball and Discus Throw with us. My parents sat on a bench and my brother and I went to play. We threw and caught the disc and after that, we played with the ball. We then asked our mother to take us on the Elephant Statue. We climbed the statue and we could see the entire park from there.

My father clicked many pictures of us. After that, we went on to the playground to enjoy the Swings. We swung on Sea-Saw and then I went to a Slide which is my favourite. We joined other children on Merry-go-round and laughed a lot. My parents then asked us to eat something and we went to the Food Stalls. We ate oodles and I had Chocolate Shake. After we were full, we all went for a walk.

There we saw many types of flowers there were Tulips, Daffodils and Roses of all colours. The wall was covered with Climbers and it looked beautiful. After coming back from the park, I told my mother how much I loved that park and she promised that she will me take me there again soon.

A zoo is a place where animals and birds are kept for public display. We, the three friends, went to the Alipore Zoo, Kolkata. We saw two elephants, tied with iron chains by their hind legs. The visitors offered them bananas or nuts which they gladly accepted and swallowed. We were greatly amused to see the huge animals from so near.

Then we visited the bird’s section. There were hundreds of birds. They were of various colours and had lovely plumage (feathers). Their chirping produced soft music. We also saw a tank which contained small fishes of fine colours.

A Visit to a Zoo Essay: 250 Words

A Visit To A Zoo is very thrilling. I went to see the zoo with my younger brother. One is surprised to see such a variety of animals and birds. It was an interesting sight. First of all, we saw the monkeys. They were of many kinds and very amusing. We offered some nuts to them.

Then we came to the lions. They looked very fierce and majestic. They were kept in an open place enclosed with high iron railings. Sometimes they roared terribly. Next, we saw the tigers. They had yellow skins with black stripes on them. In the next two cages, there were a wolf and a fox. The wolf was sleeping, but the fox was walking within the cage.

After this, we came to the glass houses where reptiles were kept. There were snakes, cobras, and serpents. Some of them looked fearful. We did not stay there long.

Then we came to the fences where peacocks were kept. It was a treat to see one of them in his pride (i.e. with his tail spread like a fan).

We stayed three for three hours. We were tired. At last, we went to the cafe and had some refreshment and tea. Then we returned home. We enjoyed our visit very much.

a visit to a zoo

Essay on a Visit to a Zoo: 500 Words

Introduction:.

Everyone needs relaxation and an occasional deviation from the drudgeries of daily existence. A visit to a zoo can offer him these. At the same time, it is a learning experience. It was with this intention that visited the Alipore Zoological Garden last 25th December with some of my friends. This visit was memorable because it was both enjoyable and educational.

Entering the Zoo:

We reached the gate of the zoo in a taxi around 10 am. One has to buy tickets to enter the zoo. A number of visitors were already standing in a queue before the ticket counter. We stood behind them, got our tickets and entered the big arena of the zoo.

Various Types of Birds and Animals:

We crossed the green sward and were greeted by varieties of monkeys in cages. Monkeys and baboons were jumping on the trees within their enclosures. When some people threw food at them, they immediately jumped down from the trees to eat. Some children were making faces at them.

Then, we came across a beautiful lake in which some water birds like ducks and swans were present. There were some migratory birds as well. As we moved, we came to the big netted enclosure in which birds were kept. There were sparrows, parrots, and many other birds. Most of them were twittering, chirping and whistling. But the owls were sitting with their eyes closed as if they were lost in deep thought. The chirping of the birds went on ringing deep in my heart. In their songs, I heard the voice of nature to which the whole universe surrendered. I felt that all was right with the world.

We visited the tigers, lions, zebras, giraffes, rhinos and elephants. Roars of the lions and the tigers were deafening. We found a tiger pacing restlessly with its bloodshot eyes. It was strongly built.

Then we came across a garden in which stags and deer were frisking about. These animals were very agile and beautiful.

Our next halt was at the aquarium section. There were fishes of many species and colours. To see them swimming to and fro in the water was really a rewarding experience. Just beside this enclosure, was the cage of a black bear. It attracted a mammoth gathering. The bear was playing many tricks that thrilled us. Some people offered it eatables which it gulped at once.

Leaving the Zoo:

At about 2 pm, feeling tired, we rested and relaxed on the grassy ground for half an hour. The fragrance of flowers coming from somewhere was really soothing. We again began to stroll around the zoo after having our lunch. We saw a variety of amphibians like crocodiles, snakes, frogs, and a variety of other creatures. Then we hired a boat and enjoyed a short pleasurable ride in the canal. It was around 5 pm when we came out of the zoo. We boarded a bus, casting our last and lingering look on the zoo.

Conclusion:

I reached home in a cheerful mood. This visit refreshed my mind and deepened my awareness of the animal world.

Russian missile hits educational institution, kills five in Ukraine's Odesa

paragraph writing a visit to a park

A Russian missile attack on an educational institution in a popular seafront park in the Ukrainian Black Sea port of Odesa on Monday killed at least five people and injured 32, local officials said.

Regional governor Oleh Kiper, writing on the Telegram messaging app, said that in addition to those killed in the attack, one man died after suffering a stroke attributed to the strike.

Kiper said eight of the injured were in serious condition, including a 4-year-old child. Among the injured were another child and a pregnant woman.

Reuters Television footage showed the roof of the ornate building, a private law academy, all but destroyed after the strike. Firefighters were directing water on small fires still burning.

“Monsters. Beasts. Savages. Scum. I don’t know what else to say,” Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov said in a video posted on Telegram. “People are going for a walk by the sea and they are shooting and killing.”

Pictures posted earlier online showed the building ablaze and smoke billowing skyward.

Video footage, which could not be immediately verified, showed people receiving treatment on the street alongside pools of blood. One photo showed officials examining part of a missile.

A student at the academy who identified herself by her first name, Maria, said the blaze was caused when the missile was intercepted.

“In front of my eyes, a missile was shot down, this was just in front of me. My doors were blown open and the glass was shaking. And then I saw this,” she told Reuters, pointing to the burning building.

“Just before this happened, we wanted to go down there for a walk, but thank God we weren’t there when it happened.”

Ukrainian navy spokesperson Dmytro Pletenchuk, in a posting on a military Telegram channel, said the strike was conducted by an Iskander-M ballistic missile with a cluster warhead.

Public broadcaster Suspilne said the academy’s president, a prominent former member of parliament, Serhiy Kivalov, was among the injured.
