23 October 2023, 13:30 | Updated: 24 October 2023, 11:26

Rihanna is 'quietly planning' a huge comeback - here's what we know so far

By Abbie Reynolds

The Rihanna drought has been a long one but get out your Umbrella 'ellas because RiRi is reportedly planning a major comeback with a world tour and two new albums! Here's everything we know so far.

Listen to this article

We haven't had a new Rihanna album since 'ANTI' in 2016 but she remerged in the music scene when she dropped her first song in six years ' Lift Me Up ' for Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever.

This year the 'Needed Me' singer's Super Bowl performance became the most-watched halftime show ever. It was her first live performance in more than five years and she took the opportunity to reveal she was pregnant with her's and A$AP Rocky's second child.

As we near the end of 2023 fans are wondering - will 'R9' come this year, or in 2024? Well, despite Rihanna recently giving birth to her second son Riot Rose, it has been reported that she is gearing up for the comeback of a lifetime. RiRi insiders have since shut down the reports, saying 'no tour has been confirmed', but that won't stop the Navy manifesting a tour from their idol.

Even as a mum-of-two the Work doesn't stop, so it wouldn't surprise us if RiRi does announce a tour. Here's everything you need to know about the rumours on RiRi's mega return, including reports of a highly-anticipated world tour.

Rihanna has signed a £32 million deal with Live Nation

Will Rihanna be going on a world tour in 2024?

After reports claimed Rihanna's signed a multi-million pound deal with Live Nation, insiders close to the singer shut down the speculation saying: "No tour has been confirmed for Rihanna.”

It comes after sources claimed that she was planning an international tour in 2024 and 2025.

The deal with the entertainment company Live Nation "was created to facilitate a world tour," an insider told The Mirror .

"Her creative team is quietly at work in Los Angeles putting it all together as she raises her family. She’ll press play on the live show once she’s ready to go back to work,” it was said.

Rihanna welcomed her second son in August 2023

How to get tickets to Rihanna's world tour

In October it was claimed that the star had signed a mega deal with Live Nation. So far, Live Nation have not gone public with any tour dates or planned ticket sales but they will be our first point of call for any updates.

Rihanna and her long-term boyfriend A$AP Rocky welcomed their second son Riot into their lives in August so it might be later into 2024 than we'd like before she returns to stage. A newborn and a tour might even been too much for a powerhouse superstar like RiRi.

As soon as more information on Rihanna's tour and how to get tickets is available, we'll update this page!

When was Rihanna's last world tour?

Rihanna's last tour was The ANTI world tour in 2016 which started in March in Florida, Jacksonville and ended in November in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The 'ANTI' tour was the artist's seventh concert tour and was in support of her eighth studio album ANTI. Only Big Sean accompanied RiRi as a support act on her UK/Europe dates of the tour after The Weekend pulled out last minute. For her North America dates Rihanna had Travis Scott as her special guest.

The tour started just after her song 'Work' with Drake hit No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and she surprised fans across the world by bringing him onto stage to perform with her.

Rihanna shares sweet footage of her son

After teasing new music for years, Rihanna is currently sitting on an abundance of new tunes the insider continued: "[She] has two albums’ worth of material to release once she’s back.”

Rihanna's fandom pushed a theory a few years ago suggesting Rihanna's comeback could actually be a double album. With news that she has two albums' worth of material this theory could be coming true - now that would be quite the Rihanna revival.

After her Super Bowl performance this year she said she was "excited to actually put new music out" but she didn't have any updates - maybe this excitement could spur the new mum to get back into it sooner rather than later.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are now the parents of two little boys

Since her album hiatus the star has featured on a PARTYNEXTDOOR song 'Believe It', as well as releasing music for the Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever soundtrack with 'Lift Me Up'.

She returned to live performing in May of this year when she announced her second pregnancy at her Super Bowl halftime show. Dressed in an iconic red fit beside her dancers in all white, the 'Work' star flashed her baby bump.

Her Super Bowl performance, which became most watched half time show ever, went viral on TikTok with even Kim Kardashian and Mariah Carey's daughters North West and Monroe Cannon recreating the routine.

Rihanna Will Reportedly Announce North American Tour Following Super Bowl Performance

Rihanna  is gearing up for her  Super Bowl Halftime Show  later this month and reports from those close to the artist are saying that it is the start of her comeback.

The unnamed source added: “ She wants her next global outing to be swift and easy as she plans to refocus on Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty after her brief return to music.”

Rihanna has not toured since 2016 but paparazzi photos have shown the 34-year-old artist working hard in the studio recently . The artist has always hinted that she is working on new projects, but there is no exact timeline for when a new album will release.

In addition to possible new music, Rihanna is said to be planning “mini-residencies” at venues in key cities, which means fans will likely have to hop on trains, planes and automobiles for a chance to see her live.

The mo ther of one hasn’t toured since 2016, opting instead to focus much of her attention on her entrepreneurial pursuits such as Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty.

Rihanna Is Reportedly Gearing Up To Announce A Global Tour This Year

preview for Rihanna Posts Video of Son To Tiktok

When Rihanna announced she'd be returning to performing at this year's Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday, February 12, her fans went wild. Could this mean the pop star was making a return to music? Her last performance was in 2018 at the Grammy Awards, and since then the musical artist has been seemingly focused on her beauty empire and becoming a new mother, leaving some were wondering if she'd ever get back to her first love: music.

The source added, “Her plan is to set up mini residencies in major cities rather than visit multiple places.”

The Anti singer has also been seen at the studio these past few months, though some people suggested she might be visiting A$AP Rocky. However, with the release of Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever came two songs for the soundtrack by Rihanna, “Lift Me Up” and “Born Again. So she has been recording, though the promise of a tour does not necessarily go hand-in-hand with a new album.

The source did say she'll be keeping the rumored touring short, because her focus is still on Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty.

In November of last year, Rihanna told E! News ' Justin Sylvester that even the Super Bowl halftime show is just 12 minutes long, so she isn't really nervous about filling the time after putting on two hour shows most of her performing history. However, she is considering some surprise guests.

“Twelve minutes?” she said. “You could actually do that by yourself, but it's one of those things where you can decorate it however you want. So whether I choose to do it for myself or whether I choose to bring some of my peers on, it's…I don't know what I'm gonna do yet.”

She added, “It's gonna be great either way.”

Rihanna made her entrance through one of the tunnels like a boxer coming out for the main event. Concealing her face under a heavy hood, she slowly found her way onto the platform opposite the stage. A spotlight followed her every move, making the white robe glow, while phone lights provided stars to pierce through the dark night surrounding her. A single microphone waited on a stand as thunderous applause and ear-piercing screams filled the venue, and it served to silence the crowd in an instant. “All along it was a fever, a cold sweat hot-headed believer…” Having exposed nothing more than her unmistakable voice (and fingernails and unmistakable ass) to her audience, there was no doubt as to who was hiding under that robe. The entirety of “Stay” was performed from that position, before she revealed her face. Having attended close to a thousand concerts, it’s not often I find myself in awe at being in close proximity to a musician, but seeing Rihanna standing in front of me, in the flesh, made me realize what a cult of personality she has built around herself. As she continued the performance with “Love the Way You Lie (Part II)”, she was part pop diva, part rock star, part sex symbol, all while never being anything but Rihanna. She is still so young, yet has already solidified herself among the very few people in history who everyone will know by a single name. It was very in the show, but I was already convinced she had earned that status as well. Her voice is her defining talent, but her business acumen, stage presence, attitude, and beauty are what complete the package. - See more at: http://ilistensoyoudonthaveto.com/2016/05/10/rihanna-viejas-arena-05-09-16/#sthash.AluW51yF.dpuf

With all that has happened in France recently, Rihanna faced a stiff challenge getting Parisians and herself in a summery party mood at the Stadt De France.

However, she seemed to instinctively make the right choices to tap into the crowds fears, their need to reflect and their right to sing and dance without care. Rihanna opened the show hidden beneath a white hooded sweater and sang the wistful 'Stay' - a song whose lyrics took on a lot of ambivalence given the current political climate.

The songs from her Anti album were well received even though their lazy, sexy groove is more suited to a more intimate arena. Among the many hits from the album, 'Desperado' and 'Kiss it Better' stood out as they showcased Rihanna's scything vocals and Prince-like funk.

Rihanna also expertly mixed in medleys of favourites such as 'Umbrella', 'Man Down' and 'We Found Love in a Hopeless Place.' An undoubted highlight was 'Diamonds' which was introduced with a genuinely heartfelt speech by Rihanna expressing support for peace and the people of France. She then asked for the stadium to send out its light to France by way of illuminated mobile phones and the result was a spectacular touching moment.

By the end of the show, everyone had fallen more in love with Rihanna and headed back into the dark Parisian night with a little more light in their hearts and minds.

You've seen her music videos. You follow her on twitter. You follow her style, trends, favorites. You sing the lyrics in the shower, driving home with your friends, serenading a lover. But nothing is as real as seeing Rihanna perform live!!! The energy from the audience, the attitude and power that's thrown back off the stage...ah-maz-ing. The peeks and valleys from the soulful serenade of Stay to the sexy shock of S&M it's all new once you hear it live! One of my favorite things about going to a show is not only the excitement building up to it, buying the tickets then getting my bracelet and going in. That's just the beginning. I love more than anything, after seeing a great show and I'm back at home listening to the music, remembering where I was, who I was with, how I felt, what I saw and how much fun we were having when we were rocking out and suddenly, Rihanna isn't just some celebrity entertainer, she is a part of something bigger and the music is suddenly different, better, more meaningful. I've seen Rihanna a couple of times and every time that girl delivers. Her fans love her, she has attitude and swag that makes her real and sometimes the energy leaves you glowing for days and asking yourself, how long do I have to wait until music makes me feel this high again?

It was a great concert from the begining. DJ Mustard started the show, and it was wery good warm up, people were dancing.

Then after a little break came on the stage Big Sean. That was also powerful performance and we really enjoyed that.

After another break started Rihanna's show. She came from the back of the arena to the little stage above the soundmen. Two slow songs were awesome. Than she walked on steel and glass bridge and sing a song Woo and another one above us. See was so close to us, that was perfect. Then the reast of the show was on the main stage. She sings wery well, but the sound was overbassed, and the singing can't be heared clearly, that was mistake. Also she was'n talk much, she gave us one song after another. But the songs are so great. It was generally songs from the new album Anti, great. The show duration was 90min.

I'm so blessed that I was on the show. I was great. Thank you and hopefully see you RiRi again soon.

Rihanna's Anti World tour concert in Malmö was even better than I expected. I have to be honest, I was not a big fan of hers but of course Queen Riri changed that with her beautiful yet slaying personality and amazing voice. The overall experience was fun althought the only thing that was a littlee annoying is the fact that the concert started a little more than an hour later than what it was supposed to. But I mean.. it's Rihanna, she can do whatever. A tips from me would be to either buy the standing tickets as close to the scene as possible or buy the ones that are high up and on the opposite side of the scene. I was up and although it was long away from Riri it was magical to see all the people and the lights and literary everything. If you're hesirating weather you should go or not I would tell you to go go go, because it is such a beautiful and fun experience to have!

In one word - unforgettable.

Rihanna was in rare form. This tour has a more subdued palette than her other tours, as the stage was a blank white, and all of her outfits were in shades of cream, tan, black, and brown. However, there was a special energy in the room that night. Rihanna seemed happy, comfortable, and more in control than she has ever been. She joked with the crowd, engaged with all sides of the arena, and made sure everyone had a good time. Halfway during the concert, she announced that it was party time, and the stage lit up with these cool colored pods that pulsated in different colors. Other highlights include her flying over the audience, a foam machine on stage, and her dancers exciting the crowd in sparkly outfits.

I envy those who are going to see her, and implore those who can still buy tickets to do so!

Rihanna is probably one of the best pop artists at the moment. I've gone to three shows - first in Portugal, in her "Loud" tour; 2nd in London in a small venue for her "777" tour; and the last one in Richmond park, as part of the "Unapolagetic" tour. All of them were incredibly amazing! Her songs put so much energy in the crowd and it's impossible to not get stuck to her dance moves and stage special effects.

From the lights, sceneries, to the outfits - everything is top quality and very sophisticated and original.

You are able to listen to the top hits, and also some medleys from her older stuff. Setlists are wisely chosen, as they keep the crowd excited along the show.

I would definitely go to her next show - it's always a surprise and somewhat different from what she has done until now.

Daaaammmn. I didn't know what to expect, especially since I found myself more excited for the preshow of 'the weeknd'to the Rhianna tour and contemplated selling the tickets after he and Travis Scott pulled out. I'm glad I didn't. The show itself made me realise just how many anthems Rhianna has to her name. These sprinkled throwbacks were the most memorable for me throughout the show. The set and lighting combined to give a fab production value over all, in particular the very beginning where Rihanna emerged from behind and took a smaller stage before flying off on a clear platform across to the main stage. Overall I really really enjoyed the show. Wasn't quite one that made me jump and wave my arms around, but one that made me appreciate the talent Rihanna clearly has.

Rihanna 'set to announce huge comeback tour and new music' after Super Bowl gig

Rihanna, 34, is set to embark on a huge tour - which will be her first since 2016. The singer is also gearing up to sing at the Super Bowl next Saturday

  • 23:22, 3 Feb 2023

Rihanna is making her comeback with a huge tour after she takes to the stage at the Super Bowl.

The Love on the Brain hit maker will headline the half-time show next Saturday marking the kick off of her new tour and plans to make new music, it has been claimed.

Insiders have said that she's already got her North American dates planned and will soon be focusing on European dates, which will also reportedly see her gig in the UK.

The singer is said to be "working overtime" as she prepares for the tour.

She is also said to be planning "mini residencies" in huge cities for fans to watch her perform.

A music insider told The Sun: “ Rihanna ’s Super Bowl halftime performance will be one of the best of all time.

“The list of songs that made the cut are pretty comprehensive and touch on every era of Rihanna including the new one she’s about to embark on.

“She has her North American dates ready to announce for 2023 after the Super Bowl and it will be a matter of time before European dates are announced for 2024.“

She will perform on February 12 when Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles.

A source also told People: “She is ready for the Super Bowl. She is rehearsing right now. She's very excited, ready, and focused.“

“She can't wait to kill it,“ they added.

This will be Rihanna's first tour since 2016 as she has been busy with her beauty and underwear businesses.

She also became a mum last year as she gave birth to a baby boy, whom she shares with boyfriend ASAP Rocky.

Rihanna recently shared a video of her son, who's name she is yet to reveal, in a car seat on TikTok.

The smiling baby gazed out of the window as he giggled.

She and ASAP Rocky, both 34, welcomed their son in May after announcing that they were expecting in January.

The couple have known each other for nearly 10 years, but their relationship turned romantic in 2020.

She shared a photo of the two of them together in New York wearing a pink top exposing her bump.

In a recent interview with Washington Post, Rihanna explained the reason why they haven't revealed the name of their son.

“We just didn’t get around to it yet really. We’ve just been living,“ she said.

“But I guess there’s a certain freedom that comes with a kind of just, like, getting it out there.”

After giving birth, Rihanna has been praised for proudly showing off her post-partum figure.

The couple were recently spotted together as they left a restaurant.

She wore a strapless sheer black dress which revealed her underwear and added a leather purse which had a chunky gold chain.

Page Six reported on Feb. 7 that three different sources have heard “rumblings” of tour plans , which were being kept very secret. “There has been a lot of talk among people in the know, especially in the last week or two, that Rihanna is gearing up to announce a tour,” an insider said. “It seems to be more than just hearsay at this point.” The outlet may be onto something, as just days earlier, The Sun also reported that a Riri tour was in the works.

Rihanna announced that she would headline the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show in September, immediately causing buzz that a new album would finally follow after nearly seven years of waiting. However, she quelled the speculation that November, telling the Associated Press that the Super Bowl and the release of new music are two separate things that may not intertwine. However, she didn’t say anything about a tour, and wouldn’t it just make sense for tickets to go on sale after she makes her big comeback at the Super Bowl? Here’s everything to know about Riri’s (alleged) 2023 tour.

Rihanna’s Potential 2023 Tour Dates

Given how Rihanna has yet to confirm a world tour is even happening, dates have naturally not been announced yet. However, The Sun reports that Riri will perform in North America in late 2023 before going international next year. “She has her North American dates ready to announce for 2023 after the Super Bowl and it will be a matter of time before European dates are announced for 2024,” the outlet claimed.

In addition, she will reportedly do mini-residencies at arenas in select major cities, like Harry Styles’ 2022 Love On Tour, rather than play larger stadiums or embark on a more extensive arena trek that visits more cities.

Since tour dates have yet to be announced, ticket details are a little ways off — if the tour reports are even true. However, if reports that Rihanna will play arenas in select cities rather than stadiums are accurate, then expect tickets to be an ordeal to get, especially following the Super Bowl. Rihanna Details Massive ‘Anti’ World Tour

By Daniel Kreps

Daniel Kreps

Although Rihanna  hasn’t revealed the details surrounding her impending LP Anti , the singer has already plotted a long world tour in support of her new album. The Anti World Tour kicks off February 26th at San Diego, California’s Viejas Arena and will spend three months circling North America before the first leg closes out May 7th at Oakland’s Oracle Arena. The following month, Rihanna will embark on a two-month trek through Europe.

Travis Scott will serve as Rihanna’s opening act throughout the North American leg, while the Weeknd  and Big Sean  will accompany her on the European tour. Anti World Tour tickets go on sale to American Express card members and Tidal subscribers on November 30th, with a general on-sale date for all shows scheduled for December 3rd.

Anti is the culmination of a long recording process for Rihanna; after releasing four albums in four years between 2009 and 2012, it’s been three years since Unapologetic arrived in November 2012. Rihanna hasn’t been completely dormant: In the past year, she’s released three singles – “FourFiveSeconds,”   “Bitch Better Have My Money,”  and “American Oxygen”  – but it’s unclear whether those tracks will appear on the Kanye West-executive produced LP.

“To me it’s never done until it’s done. Until the final moment,” Rihanna told NME in a September interview. “I have so many songs I love – and they’re so different – that it’s hard to actually put them all on the same album.” The singer also revealed she had worked with Charli XCX on some songs that could potentially make the final tracklist. Recently, Rihanna revealed her Roy Nachum-creared album cover and the album title for her upcoming LP  at a Los Angeles event.

Anti ‘s impending arrival was trumpeted in mysterious Samsung ads  during the American Music Awards; when the album does arrive, it will likely spend a period of exclusivity on both the Tidal streaming service and Samsung mobile devices before public consumption.

Rihanna To Embark On Stadium Tour Following 2023 Super Bowl Performance

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

Folks are still processing the thought of Rihanna returning to the stage, as she recently announced that she will be headlining the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime show this coming February.

🚨 Rihanna will embark on a stadium tour next year, HITS Daily Double reports. pic.twitter.com/kDKJc86mNv — Pop Base (@PopBase) October 13, 2022

While we patiently await new music from the new mother and Fenty extraordinaire, we just got word from Hits Daily Double that Rihanna is on the list of artists set to go on a stadium tour in 2023. They also mentioned that she is cooking up some new music which may also be released next year.

Beyoncé, who released “ Renaissance ” in July, is also on the roster for a stadium tour in the works for 2023.

We recently reported that the tour would kick off sometime next summer.

Rihanna has yet to validate any reports about concerts in 2023. Still, her upcoming Super Bowl production could be the reason for her interest in a musical comeback, in terms of performances at least.

The self-made billionaire’s high vibrational plate is complete as she continues to expand and multiply her Fenty empire, so we all respect her break from music. With the success of Savage X Fenty, Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin, it’s possible that she now has room to jump back into the start of it all — her vocals over the perfect beat.

The critically acclaimed 2016 release of Anti, along with the Anti World Tour, which both had sensational outcomes, comprised Rihanna’s most recent album. She toured all across North America, Europe, and Asia, performing her hits including “Work,” “Needed Me,” “Love On The Brain,” “Kiss It Better” and more. With 75 shows performed, Rihanna reportedly amassed $110 million.

We’ve seen her, alongside her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, after giving birth to their baby boy, visiting the recording studio a few months back. According to Hits Daily Double, the release of new music and performing play a significant role in how her brands are affected.

For a hot minute, fans have been begging in anticipation for Rihanna to deliver some new tunes since this has been the most extended break she has taken from her career as a musical artist.

We all look forward to some official news from the queen herself!

Rihanna Reportedly Inks Mega World Tour Deal With Live Nation Ahead of Musical Comeback

rihanna north american tour

Rihanna ‘s motherhood and multitude of businesses have seen the megastar booked and busy in a non-musical capacity.

So much so that the whereabouts of the singer’s elusive 9th studio album has been a mystery – as fans have grumbled and groaned at the reality that it’s been seven years since RiRi (who was once renowned for her annual releases) dropped her last LP, ‘ANTI.’

According to a new report, though, The Navy needn’t fret.

For, with major plans underway, this period may soon be deemed…the calm before the storm.

Find out why below…

The Mirror reports that the Bajan-born belle has signed a massive deal with Live Nation for a 2024/2024 tour that will support her brand-new album.

Said to be worth close to $40 million, news of the pact comes on the back of Rih’s drip-fed return to music – first with the Oscar-nominated ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ anthem ‘Lift Me Up’ and her 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

A source said of developments:

“Rihanna is quietly planning a comeback tour after signing with Live Nation. The deal was created to facilitate a world tour and her creative team is quietly at work in Los Angeles putting it all together as she raises her family. She’ll press play on the live show once she’s ready to go back to work and has two albums’ worth of material to release once she’s back.” googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('primis_TGJ_1x1_Desk'); if (pubwise.enabled === true) { pwpbjs.que.push(function () { pwRegisterLazyLoad(gptadslots['primis_TGJ_1x1_Desk'], 2, [250,0,250,0], 0, 768, 2); }); }else{ googletag.pubads().refresh([gptadslots['primis_TGJ_1x1_Desk']]); } });

Are you hyped for Rihanna’s return?

Can she sing live though?

' src=

No, nor perform whatsoever. She’s a singles & studio artist all the way

' src=

^ yonce stans UPSET 😂😂😂😂

' src=

When are they NOT upset is the question????

' src=

Please let this be true. We miss you. Riri. We need some more of that Rihanna reign. We sick of Bey. She could neva.

' src=

Good luck with that…. Don’t say I didn’t warn you… she is gonna get pregnant again…. Probably will announce it at the last minute of the tour. She did that s h I t with the last girl on earth tour… she canceled all her shows

' src=

And yet ANTI world tour went on without a hitch

' src=

…..and flopped 😭

See, raising two children ain’t that easy…. Get that money while you still can….

' src=

This is said yearly. I’ll believe it when I see it lol

' src=

She’s a terrible singer. And let’s not even talk about her performance skills. She’s not known for her writing as well. She’s a studio fast food recording person. Sia gave hints and got backlash because she was being real. It’s obvious she used music thanks to the producers working with her to get to where she’s at.

Sure she’s worked for it, you gotta give credit where it’s due. But she never had the passion for music. She’s making way more money with her business ventures and it’s certainly less energy consuming than touring, filming, recording, promoting…

I wish her the best. That tour will certainly sell out.

' src=

Taylor also can’t sing but look at her..

' src=

Exactly, Taylor is a weak vocalist. Mediocre, immature music. I still to this day don’t get Taylor’s hype! She’s not that great.

' src=

Mediocre as she is, At leasstttt Tayble writes a lot of her music. Rihanna can’t sing, dance, or write.

At least Taylor is a good storyteller. But I don’t get the hype about her tour as well.

' src=

Being real, more of rihanna’s success is due to IMAGE/MARKETING the bad girl act… With the GOOD GIRL image she wouldn’t sell like Bey or Taylor, especially not TICKETS. 🎫 💯

' src=

But her musics better then both hmm

The Grammys says otherwise.

Only won 9 🤧

And Anti (her best, wasn’t even nominated FOR AOY nor did it win 1 😆. Not even best R&B 😆 😆 🤣)

' src=

The fact that u said NOt even best R&B n Laugh is stupid cus u tryna downplay the R&B category while 98% of Beyoncé’s grammy are from the R&B category

She wasted a big opportunity at this year superbowl , she should’ve dropped an album then m went on tour next year

' src=

Nobody wants to see Rihanna live. The proof is in the tour grosses😭

' src=

she has been musically coming back since 2000s and 1999s pls give it a rest. Until I see her say it, I am not believing it.

Rihanna Rumored to Announce Mini Residencies Across America After Super Bowl Performance

Mail

As the world recovers from Beyonce’s announcement , Rihanna is rumored to announce her own tour following the conclusion of her Super Bowl performance.

rihanna north american tour

According to The Sun , Rihanna will announce a full return to music, including new songs and a North American Tour. The tour is believed to be a set up of mini residencies across America as opposed to visiting multiple cities.

The run across America is believed to be simple and quick as she will go right back to the development of her Fenty line of beauty and lingerie.

Last week, in a PEOPLE exclusive, Rihanna is stated to be “focused” and “rehearsing” for the halftime show.

“She is ready for the Super Bowl,” says the source. “She is rehearsing right now. She’s very excited, ready and focused.

“She can’t wait to kill it.”

Last week, Apple Music provided Rihanna fans with new and exclusive opportunities to appreciate and celebrate her musical talent.

Rihanna teased fans with a first-look clip earlier this month. As the big performance approaches, fans can enjoy Rihanna’s music with the deeply enriched multidimensional sound of Apple Music. Starting today, customers can listen to the megastar’s tracks in Dolby Atmos with Spatial Audio, displaying her heart-pumping anthems from her career fusing pop, rap, R&B, and EDM sounds under her ever-expanding tent.

“Rihanna is one of the most prolific artists of our time, and we, along with her many fans across the globe, cannot wait to see her take the stage at the first Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats. “We are excited to celebrate Rihanna, and give her fans a new way to experience her music with Spatial Audio, as well as exclusive content from Apple Music.”

Apple Music Radio’s Nadeska Alexis will interview Rihanna at the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show Press Conference on February 9, 2023, at 10 a.m. MST. Viewers may check in live or on demand via Apple Music, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter, as well as the NFL Network.

It's been a long time coming, but... Taylor Swift has now joined Forbes' Worlds' Billionaire List.

Here's what we know.

Is Taylor Swift a billionaire?

Yes . The pop superstar, who  reached billionaire status in October , landed on Forbes'  World’s Billionaires list , the business magazine shared Tuesday. Lucas tops the celebrity billionaire list, with a net worth of $5.5 billion — five times that of Swift.

However, the "Is It Over Now?" singer still managed to make history as the first person to reach billionaire status "based solely on songwriting and performing," according to Forbes .

Swift had a lucrative 2023, thanks in large part to her record-breaking  Eras Tour , which became the first tour in history to earn more than $1 billion. The global trek,  which kicked off in March 2023 , took in an estimated ticket gross of $1.04 billion last year from 4.35 million tickets sold, according to  music industry trade publication Pollstar .
